Abstract

Abstrak MTsS Al-Muslimun adalah lembaga pendidikan memiliki komitmen untuk memberikan pendidikan berkualitas tinggi kepada siswa. Namun, tantangan dalam mengelola lembaga pendidikan yang kompleks membutuhkan pendekatan yang sistematis dan efisien. Tujuan penelitian ini diantaranya: 1) Untuk mendiskripsikan bentuk desain penerapan Six Sigma dalam meningkatkan kualitas lembaga pendidikan di MTsS Al-Muslimun. 2) Untuk mendiskripsikan penerapan Six Sigma pada manajemen kepala madrasah di MTsS Al-Muslimun. 3) Untuk mendiskripsikan hambatan penerapan Six Sigma pada aspek manajemen kepala madrasah di MTsS Al-Muslimun. Adapun metode penelitian yang dipilih adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif analisis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, sehingga peneliti dapat mengambil kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) MTsS Al-Muslimun telah mendesain penerapan Six Sigma untuk meningkatkan kualitas lembaga pendidikan. Kepala madrasah, guru, dan staf kependidikan bekerja sama dalam menerapkan langkah-langkah Six Sigma sehingga berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas pendidikan. 2) Penerapan Six Sigma dalam manajemen kepala madrasah di MTsS Al-Muslimun dengan menggunakan data dan analisis sebagai landasan dalam pengambilan keputusan yang lebih baik dan optimalisasi sumber daya. 3) Dua faktor hambatan penerapan six sigma manajemen kepala madrasah di MTsS Al-Muslimun yakni faktor internal dan eksternal. Kata Kunci: Kualitas; Lembaga Pendidikan Islam; Six Sigma.    Abstract MTsS Al-Muslimun is an educational institution committed to providing high quality education to students. However, the challenges of managing complex educational institutions require a systematic and efficient approach. The objectives of this research are: 1) To describe the design form for implementing Six Sigma in improving the quality of educational institutions at MTsS Al-Muslimun. 2) To describe the application of Six Sigma in the management of madrasa heads at MTsS Al-Muslimun. 3) To describe the obstacles to implementing Six Sigma in the management aspects of madrasah heads at MTsS Al-Muslimun. The research method chosen is qualitative with a descriptive analysis research approach. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation, so that researchers could draw conclusions. The research results show that: 1) MTsS Al-Muslimun has designed the application of Six Sigma to improve the quality of educational institutions. Madrasah principals, teachers and educational staff work together to implement Six Sigma steps so that they succeed in increasing the efficiency and quality of education. 2) Application of Six Sigma in the management of madrasa heads at MTsS Al-Muslimun by using data and analysis as a basis for making better decisions and optimizing resources. 3) Two factors hinder the implementation of six sigma management of madrasah principals at MTsS Al-Muslimun, namely internal and external factors. Keywords: Quality; Islamic Education Institute; Six Sigma.   مستخلص البحث مدرسة المسلمون المتوسطة هي مؤسسة تعليمية ملتزمة بتوفير تعليم عالي الجودة للطلاب. ولكن، فإن التحديات التي تواجه إدارة مؤسسة تعليمية معقدة تتطلب اتباع مدخل منهجي وفعال. تشمل أهداف هذه الدراسة ما يلي: 1) وصف النموذج التصميمي لتطبيق سداسية سيجما في تحسين جودة المؤسسات التعليمية في مدرسة المسلمون المتوسطة. 2) وصف تطبيق سداسية سيجما على إدارة مدير المدرسة في مدرسة المسلمون المتوسطة. 3) وصف معوقات تطبيق سداسية سيجما في الجانب الإداري لمدير مدرسة المسلمون المتوسطة. منهجية البحث التي اختارها الباحث هي المنهج الكيفي بنوع البحث التحليلي الوصفي. وقد تم جمع البيانات بطريقة الملاحظة والمقابلة والوثائقة، حتى يتمكن الباحث من استخلاص نتائج البحث. ونتائج هذا البحث ما يلي 1) صممت مدرسة المسلمون المتوسطة تطبيق نظام سداسية سيجما لتحسين جودة المؤسسات التعليمية. يعمل مدير المدرسة والمدرسون والهيئة التعليمية كلهم في تنفيذ خطوات سداسية سيجما من أجل تحسين كفاءة التعليم وجودته بنجاح. 2) تطبيق سداسية سيجما في إدارة مدير المدرسة في مدرسة المسلمون المتوسطة باستخدام البيانات والتحليل كأساس اتخاذ القرارات الأفضل وتحسين الموارد. 3) عاملان يعيقان تطبيق سداسية سيجما في إدارة مدير المدرسة في مدرسة المسلمون المتوسطة يعني العاملان الداخلي والخارجي. الكلمات المفتاحية: الجودة؛ مؤسسة التعليمية الإسلامية؛ سداسية سيجما.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Implementation of Foreign Language Institute Management in Improving the Arabic and English Language Skills of Santri at Modern Misbahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School. The type of research used is qualitative with descriptive survey techniques. The data presentation is done using comparative analysis. The results showed that the implementation of foreign language institute management can improve the Arabic and English language skills of students. The successful implementation of foreign language institute management is one of the foreign language institute management that is created and has been carried out in misbahul ulum modern pesantren, namely providing vocabulary (mufradat / vocabulary), language changes, muhadatsah (conversation), making mufradat exams, inter-dormitory drama, making place name boards in each pesantren area and strengthening foreign languages. The research output produced through the management of foreign language institutions in improving the Arabic and English language skills of santri is to produce graduates who not only master religious knowledge, but also have superior foreign language skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of digital-based madrasa management on the quality of graduates at MAN Insan Cendekia Aceh Timur. The importance of applying technology in educational management to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the educational process, which in turn affects the quality of graduates, is the main focus of this research. The study explores how digital-based madrasa management can enhance the quality of planning, organizing, implementation, and control within the school. A qualitative approach with descriptive analysis was used in this research. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the school principal, teachers, and administrative staff as key informants. The findings show that in planning, the use of technology helps in developing a more structured curriculum and learning plans. In organizing, digitalization facilitates communication and task distribution. In implementation, digital applications support more interactive and efficient learning. Meanwhile, control through digital systems allows real-time monitoring of student and teacher performance, which influences the improvement of graduate quality. This study concludes that digital-based management contributes significantly to the enhancement of graduate quality at MAN Insan Cendekia Aceh Timur.

Abstract

The cases of bullying still continue to occur in the world of education, so the role of human resources in madrasas is very much needed as an effort to prevent it. This research aims to analyze and describe the role of human resources in cases of bullying, and optimize the involvement of human resources in efforts to prevent bullying at MTsN 1 Bireuen. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The research subjects were madrasa heads, teachers, guidance and counseling teachers, and deputy madrasa heads for student affairs. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique goes through three stages, namely data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The research results show that madrasa heads, teachers, guidance and counseling teachers and student representatives have a role in efforts to deal with bullying in madrasas. The madrasa head carries out planning, supervision and evaluation. Teachers educate students in character building through learning and providing advice to students. Counseling teachers become leaders on the issue of bullying. Meanwhile, student representatives coordinate with various parties. Optimization was carried out by the madrasa head, teachers and student representatives at MTsN 1 Bireuen by participating in socialization about bullying in madrasas by resource persons. Meanwhile, BK teachers learn independently through the Ministry of Religion's Smart Online application

Abstract

This study aims to deeply understand the role of optimizing PR management in building public interest in Ummul Qura Modern Islamic Boarding School in Bireuen Regency. Using a qualitative approach and descriptive method, this study involved informants selected by purposive sampling, including principals, teachers, and PR staff, who have knowledge and experience related to PR program management in pesantren. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies, which were then thematically analysed to find relevant patterns. The results showed that the optimization of PR management at Ummul Qura Modern Islamic Boarding School succeeded in increasing public interest through the implementation of effective communication strategies and the use of digital media. The active involvement of the community in pesantren activities, as well as data-based evaluation of PR programs, also contribute to the positive image of the institution. The increase in the number of students from 180 to 222 in the last two years is an indicator of the success of the strategy implemented. Based on these findings, this study recommends that Ummul Qura Modern Pesantren continue to develop training for PR staff in the use of technology and digital media. In addition, it is important to strengthen community involvement in social activities and implement continuous evaluation to improve the effectiveness of PR programs. Thus, the pesantren can continue to adapt to local needs and strengthen its position as a relevant and responsive educational institution in the modern era.

Abstract

Deixis plays a crucial role in language by pointing or referring to specific people, places, or times. The study specifically focuses on personal deixis, which is essential for effective communication in daily conversations, as it helps avoiding misunderstandings regarding references made by the speaker. The objective of this study is to analyze the types of deixis present in the movie The Pursuit of Happyness. This research uses a descriptive qualitative analysis method. The data collected for analysis follow thematic analysis which is a qualitative data analysis that focuses on identifying, analyzing, and interpreting data. The findings of this research reveal numerous instances of deixis in the movie. Among the 898 instances of personal deixis identified, singular first-person deixis accounts for 180 occurrences, plural first-person deixis 107 instances, singular second-person deixis 375, singular third-person deixis 195, and plural third-person deixis 33. This study contributes to the understanding of deixis in movie discourse and provides insights into the pragmatic use of language in the movie. It enhances our knowledge of how deixis functions within a specific cinematic context and highlights the significance of personal deixis in shaping effective communication. The findings can be valuable for linguistic analysis, film studies, and contribute to the broader understanding of deixis in various forms of media.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the implementation strategies for discipline at SDIT Bunayya Lhokseumawe, a school committed to developing an intellectually intelligent and morally superior Islamic generation. In the context of modern education, educational institutions no longer merely serve as a place to transfer knowledge but also have a significant responsibility in instilling moral, ethical, and spiritual values. Implementation is a crucial aspect of discipline in achieving the goal of developing a holistic student character. However, the reality on the ground shows that challenges to implementing discipline are increasingly complex. The negative influence of social media, rapid technological developments, and changes in parenting patterns in families often influence student behavior. The strategic role of educational institutions is crucial, especially in building a system capable of consistently and sustainably instilling disciplinary values. This study used a qualitative approach involving the principal, teachers, and students as the main subjects. Data collection techniques were carried out through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of school activities. The results showed that the strategies implemented at SDIT Bunayya include a collaborative approach involving all elements of the school, including parents. Character training programs, regular training, clear enforcement of rules, and targeted extracurricular activities are integral parts of the school's discipline system. A disciplined and conducive learning environment has been proven to support both academic achievement and character development. Therefore, the strategies implemented at SDIT Bunayya can serve as a model for other schools, particularly integrated Islamic schools, which share a similar vision of developing a generation that excels not only academically but also possesses integrity and noble character.

Abstract

The coaching approach in academic supervision offers a new paradigm that is more collaborative and constructive, in which supervisors act as partners who accompany teachers in developing their professional potential. The concept of student welfare encompasses various dimensions of student welfare, including physical, psychological, social, and academic aspects. Student welfare is important because it correlates positively with academic achievement, social adaptation, and character development. This thesis is designed to conduct research on the implementation of coaching- based academic supervision in realizing student well-being and the obstacles faced by the Madrasah Principal in implementing coaching-based academic supervision at MAS Ulumuddin. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive analysis approach. The primary data sources in this study are the Madrasah Principal, teachers, and students. Secondary data sources include academic supervision records, supervision schedules, and supporting documents. The research results are as follows: 1) The implementation of coaching-based academic supervision at MAS Ulumuddin is carried out systematically through the stages of planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. This approach emphasizes partnership between the school principal and teachers in a reflective and collaborative environment, thereby enhancing teachers' professional competencies. This supervision significantly contributes to improving student well-being through responsive, participatory, and student-centered learning. 2) Challenges faced by the principal in implementing coaching-based academic supervision at MAS Ulumuddin include limited supervision time, resistance from some teachers to a reflective culture, limited understanding of the independent curriculum among teachers, and inadequate learning resources such as projectors. Despite this, the principal demonstrated commitment through follow-up actions such as training, mentoring, providing resources, and routine monitoring.

Abstract

He results of the preliminary observations in class V at SD Negeri Blang Kucak showed that many students had not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) in the IPAS subject. Therefore, an innovative approach is needed to increase student activity and learning outcomes. This study aims to describe teacher activities, student activities, and analyze student learning outcomes using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles involving 13 students. Data were collected using observation sheets and tests. The results showed that teacher activity increased from 82.14% in the first cycle to 93.75% in the second cycle, and student activity increased from 77.86% to 94.64%. Student learning outcomes increased from 67.30% in the first cycle to 81.53% in the second cycle. The findings suggest that the implementation of the Project Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in IPAS for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Blang Kucak.

Abstract

Euphemisms are often used in language activities to subtly convey sensitive information. Careful word choice allows one to avoid using vulgar or unpleasant language that may offend others. This study aims to explain the types of euphemisms used by Anies Baswedan in his statement after the announcement of his candidacy as Indonesia's presidential candidate in the 2024 election by the Nasdem Party. Allan and Burridge's framework in categorizing the types of euphemisms becomes the theoretical basis in this research. This research uses a qualitative approach with a content analysis method, by analyzing words, phrases, or sentences containing euphemism components found in Anies Baswedan's speech on 4 October 2022, sourced from metro.tempo.co. The analysis reveals four main types of euphemisms: 11 instances of metaphor (32.35%), 6 cases of one-for-one substitution (17.65%), 16 occurrences of circumlocution (47.06%), and 1 instance of figurative expression (2.94%). These forms of euphemism are used as alternative linguistic expressions, softening the language to prevent the use of sensitive or vulgar expressions that can offend others.
