Abstract

Abstract: Reorientation of the Competency of the Teachers of Islamic Religious Education and the Global Challenge. In the global era educatorsor teachers of Islamic religious education are requested to develop themselves in such aspects as personal, social and professional competence. In this paper, the author argues that the end result of the lack of these preconditions witness not only in the low standard of education but also in moral degradation of today’s society. On the other hand, he also asserts that by professing such qualification teachers will regain faith from both students and society. This paper then is an attempt to analyze various aspects of competency a religious teacher should consider in facing the ever-increasing challenges in the globalized world.Kata Kunci: kompetensi, guru agama islam, profesional, tantangan global

Abstract

The Qur'an is revealed to mankind, as a source of guidance, a source of inspiration and a source of knowledge of knowledge, one of which is related to education. al-Qur'an is one of the main sources of knowledge for Muslims who have a wide range that is always in accordance with the times. This article seeks to explore the Qur'anic insights about educational methods by seeking the terms in some verses of the Qur'an that can give meaning to the method of learning. Further explores and explains it by the thematic interpretation of the mufassrins. Based on the verses analyzed through thematic interpretation obtained ta'lim method, the method of wisdom, mau'izah, and so as in the letter An-Nahl verse 125.

Abstract

Learning strategy is structured these steps prepared by the faculty before making the learning process. Institutions School of Islamic Higher Learning Strategies include as one of the subjects that must be followed by every student, especially Programs Tarbiyah. The process of learning that takes place between the characteristic of one subject with the other subject. The condition was impressed by running in place, as an example of Learning Strategy implemented in several courses Programs Tarbiyah Especially in the Islamic Religious Education Prodi third semester of 2010. The lecturer used the same learning strategy in teaching learning process or one subject to another subject. Researcher focused on the subject of Learning Strategy and Tafsir-I as a comparison. Based on the background the research formulated the problem is  How Application of Learning Strategies, Learning Methods, and Learning Media are implemented in Lhokseumawe Malikussaleh STAIN Education Programs Tarbiyah Prodi third semester student of Islamic Religion? The purpose of this study was to determine Learning Strategy, Learning Methods, and Learning Media are held on Malikussaleh STAIN Lhokseumawe  Tarbiyah Program in third semester students. This research is qualitative approach. It describes and explains the data found in the field. To analyze the data by using the technique of data reduction.   As a result found that the learning strategy was held on  Tafsir-I course is expository and inquiry strategies subsequently combining it with methods such as discussions and question and answer. In teaching learning process the lecturers less used of media such as books, markers, pens and blackboard.  The implementation of learning strategy on Learning Strategies course lecturers tend to use Cooperative Learning Strategies  and combine it with demonstration method,  question and answer. In addition, lecturers also take advantage of instructional media including books, pens, markers and whiteboard.

Abstract

Mahmud Yunus’ contribution to the development of learning methods has poured in a bookentitled al-Tarbiyah wa al-Ta’lim. The bookprovides inspiration to researchers to conduct critical analysis of analysis figures. This study aimed to see the contribution of learning methods of Islamic Religious Education Mahmud Yunus in the book al-Tarbiyah wa al-Ta’lim. This research used qualitative research with the character study approach. The findings of contribution of learning method of Islamic Education Mahmud Yunus such as al-Istiqraiyah learning method, al-Tatbiqiyah learning method, al-Khabariyah learning method, and al-Tahawuriyah learning method Mahmud Yunus was able to develop the learning process in the five stages of the learning process. These five stages include al-Ta’aruf, Muqaddimah, al-‘Arad, al-Tatbiq, and al-Ikhtitam.

Abstract

Learning independence of students at Dayah muslim school  in North Aceh through various activities of Dayah in an effort to make Dayah's Alumni who are ready to adapt and continue life in  society. Various activities carried out are structured, so the control and evaluation are carried out periodically. The independence of Dayah's student in the present context will experience difficulties when the necessary of the times keep developing. If the student  are not ready, they will experience being overwhelmed to face global competition. This research aims to find out and describe the learning process of the independence of Islamic boarding students, especially those in the North Aceh area. This research uses a qualitative research approach with with a phenomenological approach that is descriptively qualitative. The results show student education of  Islamic boarding school in North Aceh can be described through several fields, such as students' independence in doing ubuduyah, students' independence education in recitation activities, independence education in carrying out social activities, students' independence education in developing economy through another skill.

Abstract

Dayah is an educational institution that is taught in several fields of Islamic religious knowledge, such as monotheism, sufism, fiqh, interpretation, hadith, nahwu, sharaf, balaghah, and others to respond to the religious problems of society. So, the author examines how the role of dayah education responds to the religious problems of society. In this study the authors used a descriptive qualitative research type. The data collection technique is done by interview, observation, and documentation. As for the sources of data in this study are the leadership of the dayah, dayah teachers or administrators, and alumni of the dayah. The results showed that Dayah Babussalam Al-Aziziah Jeunieb has played a large role in the Jeunieb community and in general the Acehnese people in solving community religious problems, both from the fields of tauhid, tasawuf, and fiqh. Among the role of the dayah in society is the existence of majelis taklim, both the taklim majelis inside the dayah and outside the dayah, even the taklim majelis have arrived in Malaysia. And there are SD IT Islamic School, Assalam Al-Aziziyah Jeunieb Middle School, and Radio Yadara.

Abstract

Perkembangan masyarakat yang terus mengalami kemajuan dalam berbagai hal, membuat masyarakat kehilangan kendali untuk menetralisir fenomena-fenomena dari dalam dan luar mereka sendiri. Efeknya masyarakat keluar dari norma, ketentuan, dan adat istiadat yang telah menjadi kebiasaan selama ini. Munculnya peristiwa anarkis, perpecahan, dan perang antar sesama menjadi kemelut masyarakat yang hingga kini sulit dicari jalan keluarnya. Untuk itu tulisan ini mencoba memberikan regulasi kehidupan masyarakat madani era modern. Masyarakat Madani adalah masyarakat yang beradab, menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai kemanusiaan, serta masyarakat yang maju dalam penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan, dan teknologi. Regulasi ini walau dalam konteks modern namun tetap berlandaskan norma-noma agama yang kental dengan masyarakat pribumi. The society development which continues to progress in a variety of ways, has lead the society lost control in neutralizing phenomena from inside and outside of their own. This has brought about the effect in which the society is out of the rooted norms, conditions, and customs. The rise of the anarchist event, splits, and a war between the societies makes the way out hard to reach. To that end this paper tries to provide regulation of the life of civil society. Civil society is a civilized society, upholding human values, as well as the society forward in the mastery of science and technology. This regulation even in the context of modern but still based on the norms of the religion norms existing within the indigenous societies.

Abstract

Jerome S. Bruner is one of the best-known and influential psychologists of the twentieth century. He was one of the key figures in the so-called ‘cognitive revolution’ - but it is the field of education that his influence has been especially felt. His books The Process of Education and Towards a Theory of Instruction have been widely read and become recognized as classics, and his work on the social studies programme - Man: A Course of Study (MACOS) - in the mid-1960s is a landmark in curriculum development. More recently Bruner has come to be critical of the ‘cognitive revolution’ and has looked to the building of a cultural psychology that takes proper account of the historical and social context of participants. This theory needs to be analyzed which gives some information of cognitive development of the student in teaching learning. Theory not only talks about cognitive but also affective and psychomotor. All of these aspects have been included in teaching learning process, so the teacher have to be responsible to apply these process well. Based on the statement above, the writer is interested to discuss about cognitive concept, applied in teaching-learning process in this era.

Abstract

This paper describes the theory of punishment in Islamic education. Punishment in education is two sides of a coin that cannot be separated. Punishment is needed as implementation of regulations that are ejected to achieve the vision and mission of education. It should be a concern that punishment in education as a means of implementation of the learning process can provide the future success of students. In this case, the punishment is not contrary to human rights as long as intended for goodness.

Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini mendeskripsikan konsep pilar pengembangan perguruan tinggi Islam dengan melakukan analisis kritis melalui fenomena dan sejarah perkembangan perguruan tinggi Islam di Indonesia. Kerangka konsep pengembangan merupakan pedoman atau landasan berpijak serta ruang gerak pengembangan lembaga yang bermuara pada manajemen quality seluruh komponen lembaga. Kerangka konsep pengembangan lembaga dijadikan sebagai ruang pembatas arah dan alur yang dijalani untuk mengembangkan lembaganya masing-masing. Sebuah lembaga yang notabene-nya ingin melakukan pengembangan, namun belum bahkan tidak memiliki konsep pengembangan yang jelas. Kenyataan ini teridentifikasi di berbagai perguruan tinggi Islam di Indonesia umumnya, kerangkan konsep pengembangan lembaga menjadikan lembaga seperti berjalan di tempat. Pola pengembangan dilakukan berdasarkan konsep yang berjalan sendiri dengan realita yang ada dan terkesan lahir secara mendadaka. Studi ini menawarkan beberapa konsep pilar pengembangan perguruan tinggi Islam berupa penanaman nilai-nilai al-tazkiyah, al-tarahim, al-takhallus, al-ruh al-mustaqbal/al-khayaly, al-ta‘abbud, al-tarikhiyah/durus al-mihnah al-tarikhiyah dalam lingkungan kampus. Kata Kunci: pendidikan Islam, perguruan tinggi, pilar pengembangan, kampus
