Abstract

The rapid development of digital media and its use in various fields raises greater demands to create an information delivery system that is guaranteed to be secure. One of them is with steganography. Steganography is a method for inserting pieces of confidential information in an object or other media. With steganography, information is hidden in such a way that its whereabouts are unknown, which is known as information hiding. This method is different from the cryptographic method, which encodes existing information so that it cannot be read without knowing the key or password used, but its existence is still known and not hidden. This final project was developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 implementing the Simple Least Significant Bit Substitution ("simple LSB substitution") steganography method to hide information into a multimedia file. Multimedia files used are image files, audio files, and video files as a medium for carrying confidential information. The use of steganography technology is expected to increase security in the delivery of information, so that important information will be protected and its presence disguised in multimedia files. This is also expected to help the process of protecting the copyright of electronic media works.

Abstract

The student registration system at Tribuana Kalabahi University (UNTRIB), is held only within the period according to the academic calendar of the semester. The registration stage is carried out 2 (two) times each semester, namely registration for the cost of Educational Development Contributions (SPP) and registration for Semester Credit Unit (SKS) fees. Registration payments made by students are often not on time according to the academic calendar. This has a negative impact on the sustainability of student learning itself because the rights to academic services are limited, including the right to lectures, practicums, field work practices, field introduction practices, academic guidance/advising, thesis writing guidance, and even thesis examinations. Another consequence is that there are arrears in payments in each semester with different batches in 10 (ten) study programs reaching r± Rp. 2.264.690.000,- (two billion two hundred sixty four million six hundred ninety thousand rupiah). This can be overcome by designing a web application based on SMS (Short Message Service) gateway that can send administrative registration schedule messages to all students, this designed system can also send registration delay messages (fines) on student cellphones who fail to register, Research methods used is an iterative method. In general, in software development in the iterative model, there are stages which include: requirements, analysis, system design, implementation, and review. Analysis of the requirements for system design and implementation is carried out through the stages of making a UML (Unified Modeling Language) Model. Meanwhile, the analysis of software requirements uses the Apache Web server, server-side scripting PHP, Gammu as an SMS gateway application and a web-based MySQL database that is bundled in Apache. The application that was built has succeeded in sending an administrative registration schedule message to all Tribuana Kalabahi University students in different semesters and batches as well as a delay message (fine) for students who fail to register administratively.

Abstract

Assessment of nutritional status plays a very important role in monitoring children's nutrition. If the assessment of nutritional status is carried out correctly and accurately, signs or symptoms of impaired growth and development in children can be identified early so that mitigation and prevention can be carried out in an effort to improve the nutritional status of children under five. And the occurrence of nutritional problems can be minimized. For this reason, determining the nutritional status of toddlers must be done quickly and accurately. Puskesmas as the technical implementer of the Health Service, has the main task of collecting data and assessing the nutritional status of toddlers and submitting the results of the assessment to the Health Service. The determination of nutritional status that has been carried out is by looking at and calculating the standard anthropometric table for assessing the nutritional status of toddlers according to the Decree. Minister of Health Number: 1995/Menkes/SK/XII/2010. However, Puskesmas are often slow in treating large numbers of patients and also have limited resources, especially in areas where there is a shortage of medical personnel. So this also influences the results of the assessment of determining the nutritional status of toddlers. For this reason, the Health Service needs to provide an optimal method for determining the nutritional status of toddlers to be used by Community Health Centers to determine the nutritional status of toddlers quickly, precisely and accurately. So researchers have conducted research and produced a decision support system for determining nutritional status in toddlers using the C4.5 algorithm. Test results to measure algorithm performance using the Confusion Matrix, Accuracy, Precision and Recall testing method, it is known that the C4.5 algorithm has an accuracy value of 72.13 %, Precision value 71.43% and Recall value 22.73% Keywords : Decision Support, Nutritional Status, Toddlers, C4.5 Algorithm

Abstract

Peningkatan kompetensi dosen menjadi faktor penting dalam menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang efektif dan berkualitas, khususnya pada program matrikulasi di Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Universitas Tribuana Kalabahi. Evaluasi ini dilakukan untuk menilai kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, kepribadian, dan sosial dosen matrikulasi, serta mengidentifikasi peningkatan kinerja dari tahun sebelumnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan deskriptif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada mahasiswa secara daring. Kuesioner terdiri dari empat variabel utama yang mengukur kompetensi dosen dalam aspek yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja dosen pada tahun 2023 berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan rerata persentase skor keseluruhan sebesar 85,70%, meningkat dari kategori cukup dengan skor 67% pada tahun 2022. Secara rinci, kompetensi pedagogik mencapai skor 80,78%, kompetensi profesional 82,23%, kompetensi kepribadian 85,78%, dan kompetensi sosial 85,38%. Kesimpulannya, terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam kinerja dosen yang mencerminkan perbaikan kualitas pengajaran di kelas matrikulasi PGSD. Hasil ini mendukung pentingnya pengembangan kompetensi dosen secara berkelanjutan guna menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di lingkungan universitas.

Abstract

The evaluation aims to improve the quality of learning in the matriculation program. By knowing the shortcomings, teachers can improve their learning approaches and methods, so that the final results of the teaching and learning process are more optimal, so that students will get more meaningful learning and in accordance with their academic needs. This study uses a quantitative approach to evaluate the effectiveness of the matriculation program at Tribuana Kalabahi University by collecting numerical data through questionnaires filled out by new students from the Theology and Agribusiness Education Study Program for the 2024/2025 academic year with purposive sampling applied to students who were willing to fill out the questionnaire from a total of 67 students, so that the sample can reflect the proportion of the population. The questionnaire used contains closed questions with a Likert scale of 1-5. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics to provide an overview of the implementation and quality of the matriculation program. The results of the evaluation of the matriculation program at Tribuana Kalabahi University show a generally high level of student satisfaction, with variations in each study program. The Theology Education Study Program received a very good rating with the majority of students feeling very satisfied, while the Agribusiness Study Program was in the fairly good category, although most students felt very satisfied. The percentage of dissatisfaction in Agribusiness indicates the need for evaluation and improvement in several aspects to increase overall satisfaction.

Abstract

This evaluation research aims to evaluate the competence of matriculation teachers at Tribuana Kalabahi University which is based on student assessments to assess the competence of matriculation teachers in carrying out the learning process in the classroom which includes pedagogical competence, professional competence, personality competence and social competence. This evaluation activity is a routine activity carried out by LPM with the aim of ensuring that learning activities carried out by matriculation teachers have been carried out in accordance with the plans, objectives and standards or targets that have been set. This study uses a type of evaluation research with a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population in this study is 502 new students who took part in matriculation activities spread across 11 study programs at Tribuana Kalabahi University with data collection techniques using an online questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistics with percentage calculation techniques. The evaluation results show that in general the competency of matriculation lecturers can be concluded that the overall perception of respondents towards the 28 matriculation lecturers received a positive response with an average percentage score of 82.29% or in the High category. Pedagogical competence 81.14%, professional competence 82.55%, personality competence 83.80% and social competence 83.65%.
