Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan menemukan bukti empiris keefektifan konseling kelompok denganpendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) untuk menurunkan kecemasanpeserta didik Sekolah Menengah Pertama Islam Terpadu (SMP-IT) Masjid SyuhadakYogyakarta. Prosedur penelitian mengacu pada tahapan penelitian eksperimen jenis One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Subyek eksperimen berjumlah 7 peserta didik yangdiidentifikasi memiliki kecemasan tingkat tinggi berdasarkan hasil asesmenmenggunakan instrumen angket. Eksperimen dilakukan dengan memberikan konselingkelompok menggunakan pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy kepada subyekeksperimen. Data hasil eksperimen dianalisis dengan T-test. Hasil analisis datamenunjukkan nilai t: 8,908 dengan p: 0,00 < 0,05 yang berarti konseling kelompokmenggunakan pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) terbukti efektifmenurunkan tingkat kecemasan peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Pertama Islam Terpadu(SMP-IT) Masjid Syuhadak Yogyakarta.Kata kunci: konseling kelompok, REBT, kecemasan

Abstract

One of an fishery commodity in Ujung Pangkah is flatfish ( Cynoglossus lingua). This study was conducted in Ujung Pangkah waters, Gresik, East Java using fish samples (N=94 males, N=108 females) collected during August 2005 to January 2006. The Study aimed to investigate food habits of the flat fish caught in the area. Research result shows that shrimps was a main food, while crab and Bivalva were complementary food both for male and female fish. Based on index of stomach contents, the index was higher during September for male, and August for female fish. Kinds and percentage of stomach contents varied according to size both for male and female. Therefore, the main food of the male and female fish was simmilar (e.g. shrimps) According to simmilariy index, food habit of the male and female fish is simmilar.

Abstract

Salah satu sumberdaya perikanan yang terdapat di Ujung Pangkah adalah ikan lidah (Cynoglossus lingua). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis makanan ikan lidah yang tertangkap di daerah tersebut. Penelitian dilaksanakan di daerah perairan Ujung Pangkah, Gresik, Jawa Timur dengan pengambilan sampel ikan (94 ekor jantan dan 108 ekor betina) sejak Agustus 2005 sampai Januari 2006. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ikan lidah memiliki makanan utama berupa udang dan makanan pelengkap berupa kepiting dan kerang baik pada ikan jantan maupun ikan betina. Berdasarkan nilai indeks kepenuhan lambung, ikan ini memiliki nilai yang cukup tinggi sekitar bulan September untuk jantan dan Agustus untuk ikan betina. Jenis dan persentase makanan yang dimakan ikan lidah bervariasi tergantung pada ukuran panjang baik pada ikan jantan maupun betina. Berdasarkan indeks similaritas, terdapat kesamaan jenis makanan baik ikan jantan maupun betina.Kata kunci: Gresik, ikan lidah (Cynoglossus lingua), kebiasaan makanan, Ujung Pangkah.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Stunting remains a problem that has persisted despite various challenges and obstacles due to the low level of community participation. The participation of parents, particularly mothers, is crucial in the prevention of stunting, given their pivotal role in fostering healthy behaviors. Stunting prevention behaviors are influenced by a multitude of factors, including the level of knowledge and sociodemographic characteristics. To determine the relationship between sociodemographic factors and the knowledge and behavior of parents with toddlers in stunting prevention. This descriptive correlational study used a cross-sectional design with a purposive sampling technique involving 125 parents who have toddlers in Sukamulya Village, Rancaekek. The questionnaire instrument used to measure knowledge and behavior in stunting prevention consisted of 33 questions and its validity and reliability had been tested. Descriptive analysis related to sociodemographic factors was carried out using frequency distribution and cross tabulation. Meanwhile, data analysis with a contingency correlation test was used to determine the relationship between sociodemographic factors and knowledge and behavior in stunting prevention. Most parents in this study had good knowledge (59.2%) and behavior (52.0%) in efforts to prevent stunting. Sociodemographic factors are known to have no significant relationship to parental knowledge and behavior. However, there is a tendency that younger parents, with a nuclear family type, and having more than 4 family members, have better knowledge and behavior in preventing stunting.Health education and counselling program is essential to enhance parental knowledge and behavior, thereby increasing community participation in stunting control programs. Keywords: Knowledge, Behavior, Parent, Stunting Prevention  ABSTRAK Stunting masih menjadi permasalahan yang hingga saat ini mengalami berbagai tantangan dan hambatan salah satunya diakibatkan oleh rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat. Partisipasi orangtua khususnya ibu sangat diperlukan mengingat peran penting mereka dalam menerapkan perilaku pencegahan stunting. Perilaku pencegahan stunting dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor salah satunya tingkat pengetahuan dan aspek sosiodemografi. Mengetahui hubungan faktor sosiodemografi terhadap pengetahuan dan perilaku orangtua yang memiliki balita dalam pencegahan stunting. Penelitian deskriptif korelasional ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan teknik purposive sampling yang melibatkan 125 orangtua yang memiliki balita di Desa Sukamulya, Rancaekek. Instrumen kuesioner yang digunakan untuk mengukur pengetahuan dan perilaku pencegahan stunting terdiri dari 33 butir pertanyaan dan sudah teruji validitas reliabilitasnya. Analisis deskriptif terkait faktor sosiodemografi dilakukan menggunakan distribusi frekuensi dan tabulasi silang. Sementara itu, analisis data dengan uji korelasi kontingensi digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara faktor sosiodemografi dengan pengetahuan dan perilaku pencegahan stunting. Sebagian besar orangtua dalam penelitian ini memiliki pengetahuan (59,2%) dan perilaku (52,0%) yang baik dalam upaya pencegahan stunting. Faktor sosiodemografi diketahui tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap pengetahuan dan perilaku orangtua. Namun, terdapat kecenderungan bahwa orangtua yang lebih muda, dengan tipe keluarga inti, dan memiliki jumlah anggota keluarga lebih dari 4 orang, memiliki pengetahuan dan perilaku pencegahan stunting yang lebih baik. Pendidikan kesehatan dan konseling guna meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku orangtua masih sangat diperlukan dalam rangka meningkatkat partisipasi masyarkat dalam program penanggulangan stunting. Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, Perilaku, Orangtua, Pencegahan Stunting

Abstract

Rodhamine B and Saccharin are often misused by food producers as food additive, which, if their use is not monitored, can produce free radicals that cause oxidative stress conditions in the body, leading to dangerous damage to the body. The addition of purple rosella in yoghurt can increase the functional value of the yoghurt, namely increasing the antioxidant content. The purpose of this study was to determine the benefits of giving purple rosella yoghurt in preventing damage to the duodenum and colon of (Rattus norvegicus) caused by Rodhamine B and Saccharin. This study used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 28 male R. novergicus, Wistar strain in aged 8-12 weeks. Group K was not given any treatment; R was given Rodhamine B, S was given Saccharin, KRS was given Rodhamine B and Saccharin, YR was given Rodhamine B and yoghurt, YS was given Saccharin and yogurt, YRS was given Rodhamine B, Saccharin and yogurt. The dose of Rodhamine B was 22.5 mg.kg-1, Saccharin was 157.77 mg.kg-1, and the volume of yoghurt was 1 mL.head-1. They were administered orally with a gastric tube for 14 days. The concentration of purple rosella extract added to yoghurt was 15% (v/v). Parameters were observed in histopathology of the duodenum and colon with the scoring method. Data analysis was done with the Kruskal-Wallis test followed by the Mann-Whitney test. The KRS group showed the heaviest damage, namely necrosis, villi erosion, and inflammatory cell infiltration of >75% of the total visual field in the duodenum and colon. The YR, YS, and YRS groups showed significant changes compared to the R, S, and KRS groups, namely necrosis, villous erosion, and inflammatory cell infiltration, which appeared to be 25-50% of the total visual field. However, this did not match the condition of group K, which appeared to be <25% of the total visual field. The provision of purple rosella yoghurt can prevent 50% damage to the duodenum and colon of Rattus novergicus due to Rodhamine B and Saccharin. Abstract

Background: Goat milk yogurt is a functional food made from processed food of animal origin with the help of LAB fermentation, which is healthy for the body. The utilization of red rice bran flour as an additional ingredient in making yogurt can increase the level of antioxidant activity and become a food fiber content in yogurt. Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of refrigerated storage temperatures (4℃) of goat milk yogurt with the addition of red rice bran flour on total LAB and antioxidant activity. Methods: Using a CRD with five treatments and four replications. The treatment included 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 weeks of storage. Each treatment group will be calculated for total LAB using the TPC method and antioxidant activity testing using the DPPH method. The data obtained were analyzed using the One Way ANOVA Test followed by the Duncan Test to determine the effect between treatment groups. Results: The results showed that storage time significantly affected (p<0.01) total LAB and antioxidant activity. The results of total LAB successively from 0 to 4 weeks of storage were 8,0 x 108 CFU/ml, 7,8 x 107 CFU/ml, 7,6 x 107 CFU/ml, 6,4 x 106 CFU/ml, and 6,3 x 106 CFU/ml. The results of antioxidant activity successively from 0 to 4 weeks of storage were 534,29 mg/ml, 443,96 mg/ml, 358,61 mg/ml, 282,32 mg/ml, and 230,88 mg/ml. Conclusion: Goat's milk yogurt with the addition of brown rice bran flour is recommended to be consumed for up to 2 weeks of storage.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Stunting merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang terjadi di Indonesia. Desa Sukamulya merupakan salah satu desa yang memiliki angka stunting. Desa Sukamulya terletak di Kecamatan Rancaekek, Kabupaten Bandung, Jawa Barat. Salah satu upaya strategis yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengetahui tentang pencegahan stunting pada ibu balita. Pengabdian ini bertujuan mengindentifikasi pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan pengetahuan ibu balita tentang pencegahan stunting. Metode pengabdian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pre-post test design. Sampel pada pengabdian ini adalah ibu yang mempunyai balita di Desa Sukamulya Dusun 3 sebanyak 41 orang. Intervensi pendidikan kesehatan diberikan kepada ibu balita berupa pengetahuan tentang pencegahan stunting, pengetahuan stimulasi tumbuh kembang. Analisis data menggunakan paired t-test. Hasil dari analisis pengetahuan ibu balita adalah adanya perbedaan signifikan pada pengetahuan Ibu balita di Desa Sukamulya (p value = 0.001). Implikasi dari kegiatan ini adalah pemberian rekomendasi  kepada Puskesmas dan Desa untuk melanjutkan kegiatan yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku pencegahan stunting bagi keluarga yang mempunyai balita serta pendampingan keluarga pada balita yang sudah terkena stunting. Kata Kunci: Balita, Pencegahan Stunting, Pendidikan Kesehatan  ABSTRACT Stunting is one of the problems that occur in Indonesia. Sukamulya Village is one of the villages that has a stunting rate. Sukamulya Village is located in Rancaekek District, Bandung Regency, West Java. One of the strategic efforts that can be done is to find out about stunting prevention in mothers of toddlers. This service aims to identify the knowledge of mothers of toddlers about stunting prevention. This service method is descriptive quantitative with pre-post test design. The sample in this service is mothers who have toddlers in Sukamulya Village Hamlet 3 as many as 41 people. Health education interventions are given to mothers of toddlers in the form of knowledge about stunting prevention, knowledge of growth and development stimulation. Data analysis using paired t-test. The results of the analysis of the knowledge of mothers of toddlers were significant differences in the knowledge of mothers of toddlers in Sukamulya Village (p value = 0.001). The implication of this activity is to provide recommendations to Puskesmas and Villages to continue activities that can increase knowledge, attitudes and behavior to prevent stunting for families who have toddlers and family assistance for toddlers who have been affected by stunting.
