Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to describe the implementation of friendly school children in Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari Elementary School of Surakarta. The research methods used qualitative method because the data presented are words. If seen from the problems studied, this research is a descriptive research. Data was collected by interviewing, observing, and documentation. Validate data with triangulation of sources and methods. The data in this research are information from principals, teachers and students at Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari Elementary School of Surakarta The results of the research describe that in the new student Admission there is no special selection, especially in terms of academic for students who register, this school also proved to receive children with special needs, while in the process of learning teacher always use a variety of learning methods with interesting media and teachers evaluate at the end of the chapters and end sub themes, midterm exam, final exam, and tasks. For student practice, students are helped by a worksheet prepared by the teacher. The results of this research explained that Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari Elementary School of Surakarta has completed the indikator that must be owned by Child Friendly School.

Abstract

This research seeks to dispel the notion that face-to-face, full-time teacher-controlled learning is a classic and old-fashioned, well-proven approach. The selection of learning methods is not always based on the modernity of one's method, but applies to the characteristics of the material and the achievement of learning objectives. The Al-Qur'an memorization program or called the taḥfīẓ program is the flagship program in the curriculum at madrasas, one of which is MITTQUM. The type of research used is descriptive research, discussing the results of research findings by describing, elaborating and illustrating. This description is related to the flagship tahfidz program with the talaqqi method at MITTQUM. The researcher chooses a qualitative approach, because the researcher records findings or phenomena, then analyzes various documents found in the field, and finally writes a research report. The sample of this research was first class students of the Kuttab program at MITTQUM. The application of the talaqqi method goes through 3 stages of activity: initial activity in the form of prayer, preparation, addition of learning outcomes, and addition of material to be memorized. The main activity is starting with the teacher reading the letter followed by students, after reading the students independently memorize, after memorizing and are welcome to deposit their memorization in front of the teacher. closing activities in the form of punishment giving questions and providing motivation at the end of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application and effect of handouts and Student Worksheets based on Posner’s conceptual change theory in reducing student misconceptions about energy material and the law of energy conservation. Posner’s conceptual change theory formulates four requirements for conceptual change to help students change their initial erroneous conceptions into scientific concepts. This research was conducted at MAN 1 Muaro Jambi in February 2025 using a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest research design. The instrument used was a five-tier diagnostic test to identify student misconceptions before and after treatment. The Shapiro-Wilk normality test showed that the data were not normally distributed, so the analysis used the nonparametric Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The study’s results showed a difference in the number of student misconceptions before and after treatment, marked by a decrease in the percentage of misconceptions by 21.63%. Based on Posner’s conceptual change theory, the statistical test results showed fewer misconceptions before and after treatment using handouts and student worksheets (z = -3.125). Thus, it can be concluded that using handouts and student worksheets based on Posner’s conceptual change theory reduces students’ misconceptions about energy and the law of energy conservation.

Abstract

Prevalensi stunting di Indonesia tergolong tinggi yaitu 24,4% sehingga harus segera ditangani dan dicegah agar tidak terjadi. Banyak studi menghubungkan stunting dengan dengan faktor maternal karena ibu adalah penentu tersedianya asupan dan perawatan kesehatan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan faktor maternal sebagai determinan stunting pada kelompok anak stunting dan tidak stunting. Desain penelitian adalah cross-sectional dengan membandingkan data pada kelompok kasus dan kontrol. Populasi penelitian yaitu balita usia 24-60 bulan di wilayah kerjasama pelayanan Puskesmas Karanggede. Jumlah sample penelitian sebanyak 30 pada masing-masing kelompok. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Agustus sampai Oktober 2023. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik non parametric Mann Whitney untuk menganalisis perbedaan faktor maternal pada kelompok stunting dan tidak stunting. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa faktor maternal yang berbeda secara signifikan antara kelompok stunting dan tidak stunting yaitu tinggi badan ibu (p-value=0,018), pendidikan ibu (p-value=0,000) dan LiLA ibu sebelum hamil subjek (p-value=0,039). Faktor maternal seperti usia ibu ketika menikah, usia ibu ketika hamil subjek, pekerjaan ibu, dan status gizi ibu tidak signifikan berbeda antara kelompok stunting dan tidak stunting (p-value>0,05). Penanganan stunting harus dilakukan secara multipihak dengan memperhatikan faktor maternal.
