Abstract

Kehidupan masyarakat mengalami perubahan mengikuti perkembangan teknologi. Berbagai dampak muncul positif maupun negatif. Perilaku yang merugikan dan mencemaskan masyarakat mulai muncul sehingga situasi menjadi tidak nyaman. Ketidaknyamanan muncul akibat dari rasa jengkel, kesal dan marah karena faktor ketersinggungan dan kurang mendapat perhatian. Pola hidup juga sangat berpengaruh pada perilaku. Suasana seperti ini juga sering terjadi di sekolah sehingga suasana belajar menjadi tidak nyaman. Untuk membangun perilaku positif diperlukan beberapa strategi diantaranya;Perubahan pembiasaan, saling menyapa, saling mengingatkan dengan ekspresi wajah yang menyenangkan selalu dilakukan secara persuasif sepanjang waktu dan mengikuti pendidikan belajar seumur hidup akan menambah wawasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan sehingga generasi berkepribadian dan berbudaya sesuai dengan nilai-nilai di masyarakat terwujud.Kata Kunci : Perilaku positif, pendidikan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk Sanggah Kamulan, (2) mengungkapkan fungsi Sanggah Kamulan menurut perspektif masyarakat setempat, dan (3) mengungkapkan makna Sanggah Kamulan menurut sudut pandang teologi Hindu masyarakat Les, Kecamatan Tejakula, Kabupaten Buleleng. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga teori. Pertama, untuk menjelaskan bentuk Sanggah Kamulan menggunakan teori estetika. Kedua, untuk mengungkapkan fungsi Sanggah Kamulan menggunakan teori religi. Ketiga, untuk mengungkapkan makna Sanggah Kamulan menggunakan teori interaksi simbolik. Untuk menjawab masalah sesuai tujuan, penelitian ini menggunakan metode yang terdiri atas beberapa tahapan, yaitu: 1) jenis dan pendekatan penelitian 2) penentuan data dan sumber data 3) penentuan informan dengan sistem purposive sampling 4) metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, kepustakaan dan dokumentasi 5) metode analisis data melalui deskripsi rekaman, reduksi, kiasifikasi, perincian data, interpretasi, dan penyajian hasil. Sesuai hasil analisis, disimpulkan bahwa bentuk Sanggah Kamulan masyarakat Les terbuat dan pohon kayu dapdap dan anyaman bambu berupa klatkat yang diikat tali bambu atau ijuk dengan tiga ruang. Fungsinya ialah sebagai tempat memuja roh leluhur yang telah suci. Makna yang terkandung di dalamnya adalah untuk memuja Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dalam manifestasi Beliau sebagai Purusa dan Pradana. Kata-kata kunci: Keunikan, Sanggah, Kemulan,Tempat Pemujaan

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Dharma is a principle of life that every human being must own. Dharma in the form of behavior is called Susila (ethics). Komunitas Ekspresi in every activity always emphasizes and instills ethical values in children. From a conceptual point of view, the internalization of ethical values in the Komunitas Ekspresi is similar to Hindu ethical values. This study aimed to describe the internalization of Hindu ethical values in the Komunitas Ekspresi of Sibang Kaja Village, Badung Regency. The research method used is qualitative with an ethnographic approach a la James Spradley. The technique for determining informants is purposive sampling following the ethnographic method. Types and sources of data are qualitative data types, while data sources are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Ethnographic data analysis techniques, namely domain analysis, taxonomic analysis, componential analysis, and analysis of cultural themes. The results of this study found that: 1) Internalization of Hindu ethical values found were: a) Law of Karma, namely children are taught to be responsible for what they do, b) Catur Guru, namely children are taught to respect four teachers, c) Tri hita karana, namely children are taught to establish harmonious relationships with God, fellow human beings and the environment, d) Catur Paramita, namely children are taught to apply the four ethical attitudes of noble character. 2) The inhibiting factors for internalizing Hindu ethical values include a) parental support, which is relatively low, especially in assisting in continuing the direction of teaching staff in educating children when they are at home, b) teaching staff whose number is still limited and c) facilities which are still classified as limited. 3) The impact of internalizing Hindu ethical values is the religious impact, the emotional impact, the impact of independent behavior, the impact of responsibility, the impact of self-confidence, and the impact of creativity. The conclusion is that the Komunitas Ekspresi teaches Hindu ethical values.

Abstract

The concept of catur guru learning through education has a huge impact on student character and learning outcomes, because it can increase obedience in its full sense, and will create a life of mutual respect, balance and obedience. The character of each individual in the catur guru teaching plays an important role in the educational step. This study aims to determine character education and morality in catur guru teachings. The method used is qualitative research. The type of data used is qualitative data with a descriptive approach. The results of the study show that character education is very important to implement, everyone in the education system must be involved in its development. Policy is the main role model in this area. This is also emphasized in the teachings of Hinduism. Teachers play an important role in classroom learning by interacting with students.

Abstract

The program of community service activity carried out by the Master Dharma Acarya (Hindu Education) in Medewi Village, Jembrana is the application of three obligations in higher education or called tri dharma. This program is based on several reasons. First, the obligation of higher education institutions, including lecturers and students, as a knowledge practices. Second, education and society have a strong relationship and influence each other. Third, education should be culture-based and oriented, so that the values ​​that exist in society need to be strengthened. Fourth, this community service is also a mandate from Hindu literature, that jnana yadnya is the main yadnya. The theme of this service is the application of contextual learning in the new normal era based on Tri Hita Karana. Theoretically and practically, this service activity refers to the concept of community-oriented contextual learning which includes seven things, namely: (1) meaningfulness and usefulness; (2) Utilization of the environment in learning; (3) Integrated learning materials in daily life; (4) The problems raised in the learning are in accordance with the needs; (5) Emphasis on participatory learning; (6) Fostering cooperation; and (7) Fostering independence. The reinforcement is in understanding, interpreting and using Tri Hita Karana in life. Theoretically, service participants who are members of the community are able to interpret the Tri Hita Karana philosophy and relate it to their daily religious life. Practically, participants are equipped to take advantage of the potential that exists in the surrounding environment to support or improve the quality of their health and life through the practice of processing medicinal plants sourced from Hindu literature such as Lontar Usadha Taru Pramana and herbal medicine practitioners who are also members of this community service team.

Abstract

Education is actually a process of inheriting a culture from one generation to the next. Education is defined as the process of changing the attitudes and behavior of a person or group of people in an effort to mature through teaching and training efforts. However, the world of education in Indonesia is not devoid of criticism and rebuke. In addition to the implementation of the education curriculum policy which is still complicated, the high cost of education to the poor quality of Indonesia is still the talk of all Indonesian citizens. But it cannot be denied that the development of digital technology also has a negative impact on the world of education. Excessive use of information technology has proven to have a negative impact on conceptual thinking skills. In response to the above, the author has an assumption that it can be overcome with the concept of Tri Hita Karana. The method used is qualitative research method, which is a type of research that examines and can describe complex and concrete social realities. The application of Tri Hita Karana teachings in the Baris Tengklong tradition at Badung Mine Temple, Pemucutan Village, West Denpasar is a cultural practice that illustrates the harmony and balance between three important aspects of Balinese life, namely human relations with God, human relations with each other, and human relations with nature. Thus, the application of the Tri Hita Karana teachings in the Baris Tengklong tradition at the Badung Mine Temple in Pemucutan Village, West Denpasar, is a clear example of how Balinese culture integrates spiritual, social, and ecological principles to create balance and harmony in their daily lives. This ceremony is a concrete manifestation of Balinese people's lives that pay great attention to harmony in relationships with God, fellow humans, and the surrounding nature. Overall, the application of Tri Hita Karana teachings in the Baris Tengklong tradition at Badung Mine Temple, Pemucutan Village, West Denpasar is a concrete example of how these teachings are still very relevant and alive in the daily lives of Balinese people. It is a manifestation of the way Balinese people try to maintain balance and harmony with nature, gods, and fellow humans in an effort to achieve happiness and prosperity together.

Abstract

Tolerance education is an important aspect in building a harmonious social life in Indonesia, especially in areas with religious diversity such as Gianyar. Tolerance education is becoming increasingly important in the midst of increasing intolerance and religious polarization in Indonesia. This phenomenon can be seen from the rise of cases of discrimination, hate speech, and violence on the basis of religion. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through participant observation, interviews, and document analysis. The data were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques. The results of this study outline that: First, the form of tolerance between Hinduism and Islam at SD Negeri 3 Keramas is in the form of: social activities, religious activities, in school relationships, cultural arts activities, sports activities at school, and group learning activities. Second, the obstacles faced in the application of tolerance in SD Negeri 3 Keramas, Blahbatuh District, Gianyar Regency are fanaticism, limited coaching, and exclusivism. Third, the efforts made to strengthen tolerance between Hinduism and Islam at SD Negeri 3 Keramas, Blahbatuh District, Gianyar Regency are to impose sanctions on religious harassment, get guidance from all teachers, understand other religions more comprehensively, prioritize dialogue as a discourse to be tolerant to teachers and students at SD Negeri 3 Keramas. The dialogue aims so that teachers and students can build understanding and mutual understanding, not to win, the dialogue given is always about mutual respect, understanding other religions, being polite, not demonizing other religions and certainly increasing the attitude of tolerance that has existed since long ago at school.

Abstract

The Coronavirus (Covid -19) has been declared a Pandemic by the World Health Organization or what is called the World Health Organizer (WHO), because it has spread to almost all countries in the world. Efforts to contain the spread of this virus are continuously being carried out, but in implementation it is inevitable that new impacts or problems will arise in the adjustment. It is very important for us to understand the impact of the arrival of Covid-19 on the socio-cultural life of the Balinese people so that the government does not only focus on preventing the transmission of Covid-19, but also on the sustainability of the socio-cultural life of the Balinese people which may not work due to the policies implemented. The purpose of this research was to provide an overview and explanation of the nature of the Corona virus and Hinduism education as a way of responding to the current pandemic situation. This research was carried out in Bali.  The approach in this study was a descriptive qualitative approach, which explained the picture of the socio-cultural life of the Balinese Hindu community in the midst of the Covid -19 Pandemic. This study aimed to determine the effects of the Covid-19 Pandemic so that it can be used as learning in the future to face similar disasters. The effects of this Pandemic were also studied from the perspective of Hinduism education.  As a result of the arrival of the Covid -19, many significant changes have occurred in Bali.  The results showed that the socio-cultural life of the Balinese people followed new adjustments or adaptations to anticipate the development of the Covid-19 outbreak. These adjustments include regulations, religious activities (regarding traditions) and social activities.
