Abstract

This research discusses the strategy of learning communication held by the teacher of Hindu religion and character at Sathya Sai Elementary School Denpasar. Sathya Sai Elementary School Denpasar is a school that applies human values in learning process. The human values is highly regarded as the core of human character. The students’ character need to be developed through appropriate strategy of learning communication. The writer would like to find out: 1) How the strategy of learning communication; 2) How the application of learning media; and 3) What constraints are faced by the teacher; in relation with Hindu religion and character lesson. The three research questions are analyzed by humanistic and behavioral learning theories. This research is a qualitative descriptive one with phenomenological approach. It makes use of purposive sampling method. The main informant is the teacher of Hindu religion and character lesson and the supporting informants are the head of the school and some students. The data are collected by instruments, such as: researcher direct observation, interview and documents study. The data obtained are analyzed by using the Miles and Huberman analysis model. The findings of the research show that: 1) The strategy of learning communication held by the teacher of Hindu religion and character at Sathya Sai Elementary School Denpasar is of humanistic and behavioral methods. The teacher makes use of multy ways communication model and behaves as motivator and facilitator in the learning process. The teacher emphasizes her communication on greeting, praying, silent sitting and students’ selfaffirmation to begin the lesson. While closing the lesson she encourages the students to thank God, the teacher and each other for the knowledge has been learned. 2) The teacher utilizes several types of learning medias, such as: school text-book, other books of Hindu religion, like Bhagavadgita, character contained story books and audio visual media. Besides that the teacher also makes use of internet and social media features, such as: facebook, youtube and whatsapp group. 3) Some obstacles sometimes still occur during learning process.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pembelajaran menjadi tuntutanperkembangan dan kemajuan zaman yang semakin modern saat ini. Pendidikan di Indonesia harusmampu terus berbenah dalam menyesuaikan diri dari derasnya perkembangan era globalisasi saatini.Guru sebagai agen pembaharuan sekaligus sebagai ujung tombak dalam mewujudkan tujuanpendidikan nasional haruslah terus mengembangkan segala kemampuan dan kompetensinya dalammerancang dan melaksanakan pembelajaran yang menarik bagi peserta didik. Guru di Indonesia saatini haruslah terus berusaha sekuat tenaga untuk menciptakan peserta didik yang kreatif, inovatif, dankompetitif. Untuk itu, diperlukan strategi penerapan pembelajaran Abad 21yang diharapkan mampumenggali dan meningkatkan keterampilan 4C peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untukmemberikan gambaran terkait tantangan dan strategi yang tepat digunakan dalam menerapkanpembelajaran Abad 21 pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Hindu dan Budi Pekerti di UPT SDNegeri 5 Amparita. Penelitian ini merupakan peneltian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan datadengan melakukan observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1)adanya tantangan dalam penerapan pembelajaran Abad 21 baik tantangan secara internal maupunsecara eksternal, (2) untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, diperlukan strategi yang tepat dalam upayapenerapan pembelajaran Abad 21 di UPT SD Negeri 5 Amparita. Pembelajaran Abad 21 sangatpenting untuk diterapkan di UPT SD Negeri 5 Amparita karena selain menjadi tuntutan dariperkembangan di era globalisasi, juga karena sejalan dengan visi dan misi sekolah dalam menciptakanpeserta didik yang komunikatif, kreatif dan inovatif, berpikir kritis, serta mampu bekerja sama.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran Agama Hindu di kelas V UPT SD Negeri 1 Amparita masih menerapkanmetode pembelajaran konvensional dan belum bervariasi, sehingga melemahkan karakter disiplin dankeaktifan siswa dalam belajar. Pembelajaran masih terpaku kepada buku teks yaitu hanya hafalankonsep-konsep saja. Proses pembelajaran belum mengorientasikan siswa pada masalah yang riil,kegiatan belajar belum dilaksanakan secara berkelompok sehingga tidak mengarahkan aktivitas untukbekerjasama sehingga belum mencerminkan aktivitas belajar yang berpusat pada peserta didik. Salahsatu hal untuk mengantisipasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaranyang inovatif seperti model pembelajaran problem based learning. Berdasarkan analisis dataditemukan bahwa terjadi penguatan karakter disiplin dan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas V denganmelihat (1) faktor yang menjadi alasan pentingnya penerapan problem based learning padapembelajaran agama Hindu dalam penguatan karakter disiplin dan aktivitas belajar; (2) prosespenerapan model problem based learning pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Hindu dalampenguatan karakter disiplin dan aktivitas belajar; (3) kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam menerapkanmodel problem based learning pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Hindu dalam penguatankarakter disiplin dan aktivitas belajar siswa

Abstract

Indonesia has a lot of cultural wealth in the form of art, including music, sound, painting, sculpture and dance. The dances that developed in Indonesia have various types and are unique in each region. Culture or art that develops in Indonesia, especially in Bali, has an important role, both as a supporter of religious rituals and as a medium of entertainment. Sacred dance faces challenges in the current era, mainly due to the increasing influence of tourism and the ever-growing dynamics of Balinese society. This gives rise to debate and negotiation regarding which dances should be reserved for sacred events and which may be performed as tourism entertainment. In response to this, it is important to inherit and preserve sacred dances that are danced in religious ritual ceremonies because they have many spiritual and philosophical values. Even though some dance arts have experienced extinction, it turns out that there are still several dance arts that remain strong and strong among the people of Nusa Penida. One example is the Baris Jangkang Dance which can be found in Desa Pakraman Pelilit, Nusa Penida, Klungkung. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, where the data that is processed and analyzed is presented in words arranged into a sentence. The history of this dance comes from the story of a person from Desa Pakraman Pelilit who had supernatural powers named I Nyoman Kulit. This dance contains educational values from a Hindu perspective. These values should be passed on to society as a basis or guide for life so that they have a clear direction and purpose in life. It has religiosity values from the aspect of the purity of the dancers and also the symbols of the clothing used. Has the value of education as a unifier of society.
