Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is  metabolic disorder disease characterized by increase blood sugar due to insulin resistance. The objective of this study is determine description of blood glucose levels based on diabetes self management and dietary compliance outpatients with type 2 diabetes. Type of research used in this study was observational with a cross-sectional approach. Place of research is in Wangaya Hospital Denpasar. Research sample amounted to 33 people with a sampling technique  is non random sampling with purposive method. From the results of cross table description of blood glucose levels based on diabetes self-management, who have good diabetes self-management with controlled blood glucose are 3 people (42,9%) and 3 people (11,5%) not controlled. This indicates someone who has good self-management tends to have controlled blood glucose than uncontrolled. When viewed from cross table description of picture of blood glucose based on dietary compliance, it was who complianced  diet with controlled blood glucose were as many as 1 person (14,3%). While who uncomplianced the diet were as many as 6 people (85,7%) with controlled blood glucose and 26 people (100%) uncontrolled. The conclusion is that someone who has good self-management and adheres to a diet tends to have controlled blood glucose levels.Keywords: Blood Glucose Level, Self Management Diabetes, Diet Adherence, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract

Non-Communicable Diseases (PTM) is still a regional and national health problem. One of the PTM that has the highest number is Diabetes Militus. Nutritional status and blood glucose levels are closely related to diabetes mellitus. The purpose of the literature review is to find out the nutritional status and blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes mellitus in Wangaya District Hospital, Denpasar. The literature review design is a case study that illustrates the nutritional status and blood glucose levels of patients with diabetes mellitus. Subjects in the study were 2 patients. The nutritional status of diabetes mellitus patients is related to the blood glucose levels of diabetes mellitus patients where the higher the nutritional status, the higher or worse the blood glucose level.Keywords: diabetes mellitus, nutritional status, blood glucose levels.

Abstract

Over nutrition or obesity can have an impact on increasing blood pressure through a mechanism of increasing leptin levels, insulin resistance, increased levels of free fatty acids, and activation of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. This study aims to determine the relationship of nutritional status with blood pressure (systolic and diastolic) and hemoglobin levels in middle school students in Denpasar City. This type of research is observational analytic using a cross-sectional design. The sample is 72 people. Data collected by anthropometric measurements, blood pressure measurements and checking hemoglobin levels. Data analysis uses Pearson product moment correlation test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between nutritional status and systolic blood pressure (p = 0.047), there was no significant relationship to nutritional status with diastolic blood pressure and hemoglobin levels with values (p = 0.091) and (p = 0.185).Keywords: nutritional status, blood pressure, hemoglobin, children

Abstract

National prevalence for joint disease is 30.3% (based on diagnosis by health professionals and symptoms). The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of protein consumption and uric acid levels in kecak dancers in Sahadewa Barong and Kris Dance. This type of research is observational research with cross sectional approach. Data on protein consumption was collected by the SQ-FFQ method, while the measurement of uric acid levels was carried out using a multi-parameter check tool. The data that has been collected is then made into a cross table.The results of data from 47 samples seen from the pattern of protein consumption most of the samples had consumed 2 types of protein (95.74%), in terms of the amount of protein consumed, most of the samples still consumed less protein than needed (82.98%) and in terms of the frequency of most samples often consuming protein (59.57%). The results of the cross tabulation analysis found that most of the samples had normal uric acid levels (80.85%). Most of the samples that consumed more protein than needed had high uric acid levels (55.56%). It is expected that kecad sahadewa barong dancers and kris dances pay more attention to the amount, type and frequency of protein intake. Keywords: protein consumption, uric acid levels

Abstract

The factor that causes hypertension is nutrient intake. This is because food has a significant role in increasing blood pressure. This study aims to describe the level of macro nutrient consumption and nutritional status of hypertensive patients with cardiac complications hospitalized at Bangli Hospital. This type of research is observational with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study was inpatients who were diagnosed with hypertension with cardiac complications inpatient care at Bangli Hospital, the study was conducted on samples aged ≥ 18 years. The results showed a low level of energy consumption (91.89%), less protein  consumption  (97.30%), less  fat  consumption  level  (67.57%), and  less carbohydrate consumption (91.89%). Based on the results of normal nutritional status (54.05%), thin (5.41%), overweight (16.22%) while obesity (24.32%). The results of the level of energy consumption were less with normal nutritional status (52.94%), more weight (17.65%), and obesity (26.47%). The results of the level of protein consumption were lacking with normal nutritional status (51.35%), over weight (18.92%), and obesity (24.32%), the level of consumption of less fat with normal nutritional status (48.00%), more weight (24.00%), and obesity (28.00%), less carbohydrate consumption levels with normal nutritional status (55.88%), more weight (17.65%), and obesity (23.53) %).                                                  Keywords : Consumption level. Abstract

One of the important nutritional problems in Indonesia is iron deficiency anemia which is often suffered mainly by young women. The result of Riskesdas (2013) showed that the prevalence of anemia in Indonesia is 21,7%. The purpose this research is to know the correlation between intake of animal protein, iron and folic acid with hemoglobin levels in young women in SMA Negeri 1 Ubud. This research type is observational with cross sectional design. The target population this research is 365. Samples numbered 76 people taken by multistage random sampling. Data of animal protein, iron, and folic acid collected by interview method using a form food recall 2x24 hour and check the levels of hemoglobin using Hb meter method. Data analysis use Correlation Pearson Product Moment with computerized system. The result of this research showed that the prevalence of anemia in young women in SMA Negeri 1 Ubud is 78,9% with an average hemoglobin levels of 10,8 gr/dl. Over animal protein intake than AKG as much 57 (75,0%) with an average of 34,3 gr. Less iron intake than AKG as much 76 (100,0%) with an average of 6,6 mg. Less folic acid intake than AKG as much 75 (98,7%) with an average of 120,9 mcg. There is significant correlation between the intake of animal protein and iron with hemoglobin levels of young women (p 0,05). There is no significant correlation between the intake of folic acid with hemoglobin levels of young women (p 0,05).Keywords: Animal Protein, Iron, Folic Acid, Hemoglobin

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan strategi REACT berbantuan  lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pengajaran langsung pada siswa kelas V SD tahun ajaran 2012/2013 di gugus XIII Kecamatan Buleleng. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD di Gugus XIII Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 yang berjumlah 173 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V SD No. 2 Banjar Tegal yang berjumlah 26 siswa dan siswa kelas V SD No. 3 Banjar Tegal yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Data hasil belajar dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial yaitu uji-t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan strategi REACT berbantuan  lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pengajaran langsung pada siswa kelas V SD tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 di Gugus XIII Kecamatan Buleleng. Perbandingan perhitungan rata-rata hasil belajar IPA yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan strategi REACT berbantuan  lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar adalah 26,62 lebih besar dari rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran denga pengajaran langsung sebesar 20,50.   Kata kunci: strategi REACT, lingkungan, hasil belajar

Abstract

The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) is an important component of national defense. One that can affect the performance of the TNI is nutritional status and consumption patterns. TNI has very busy activities in daily activities that require energy. The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between consumption patterns and physical activity with the nutritional status of members of the Indonesian Army Battalion Zipur 18/YKR, Gianyar Regency. This type of observational research uses an approach Cross Sectional with a sample of 42 respondents by means purposive sampling. This research was conducted from January to February 2023. Data collection on consumption patterns was collected using the SQ-FFQ questionnaire.(Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire), Physical activity instrument used VO2Max, Nutritional status is determined by BMI criteria. Data is presented with frequency tables and cross tables and then analyzed using tests Chi-square. From the analysis test results Chi-squares hows that there is a relationship between consumption patterns and nutritional status, and there is a relationship between physical activity and nutritional status.
