Abstract

The aims of this research were: 1.) To know what is differences of Nurture and Nature in psycholinguistic Context, 2.) To Know the weakness both of theory based on the child Indonesian context. 3.) To know what. The method that used in this study was qualitative-descriptive that focus on literature studies. The Procedure of collecting data in this research was documentation. The researcher grouping the theory that was stated by expert, after that the researcher analysis the data and the last concluding the view of expert. The results of this study were: 1.) Nurture, children acquire language based on their environment, family, and their parent 2.) Nature, when children, they directly bring their ability used language.

Abstract

The palm-leaf manuscript of Cilinaya is one of the manuscripts which is still implemented in the life of the Sasak ethnic people. The writer conveyed massages to the readers using different figurative expressions, one of which is metaphor. This current study is a product-oriented translation study in which the qualitative descriptive approach was applied. The palm-leaf manuscript of Cilinaya was used as the data source. Based on the result of analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that several metaphorical expressions are used to praise a beautiful girl that everybody is proud of. Those metaphorical expressions are Duh mas mirah kembang mete, Duh mas mirah serining kasur, Duh mas mirah buaq bulu, Neneq bini, Dun den dare masku, Dendare, dende, Duh mas mirah dende ayu. In the Sasak language, a metaphor will have different function and meaning if the morpheme ‘be’ is inserted in the expression ‘lauh daye’ to form ‘belauk bedaye’.

Abstract

Language acquisition and language learning is the nature of every human being, whether it’s done consciously or unconsciously because every human being communicates used oral and writing communication as directly and indirectly. Based on the covarative linguistic, various theories about language acquisition and laguage learning have emerged. This research method uses descriptive qualitative with a comparative approach. Meanwhile, the data in this research are the theories of nativism and behaviorism seen from the perspective of the Al-Qur'an. Based on the comparative analysis of the two theories seen from the perspective of the Al-Qur'an, it can be concluded that language acquisition and Language learning is carried out before the child is born, this can be seen from what have saide by the Allah "Allah has created humans according to nature, QS.al-Rum (30)". After that, humans are born into the world and gain understanding and have experience in language used, this is explained by Allah in the Al-Qur'an. Furthermore, behaviorist theory states that the influence of the environment to the children is very significant. The theory of behaviorism is explained in the Qur'an surah al-baqorah 31-33. "He taught Adam all the names (of objects), then presented them to the Angels and said: "Tell Me the names of these objects if you are indeed those who This is true. Thus, behavioral theory and nativism theory existed long before any research or evidence was carried out by experts.

Abstract

Character education is essential in Indonesia. The rising crime rate and other instances of moral failings are warning signs that the bulk of people's character is in a dangerous state. According to the constitution, the goal of national education is to produce people who are noble in character as well as skillful and clever. The character education policy guidelines, which comprise 18 characters that excel, mandate this (religious, honest, disciplined, tolerant, and so on). Character education and Akhlak are comparable concepts from the western context and an Islamic perspective. Islam's principal sources for moral instruction are the Qur'an and Hadith, with the Prophet Muhammad SAW serving as an example. The suggested approach to character education in Islam is based on a mental-spiritual approach through soul management, habituation, an exemplary lifestyle, and a healthy environment that involves three different educational institutions: schools, families, and communities.

Abstract

The use of Learning Management System (LMS) has become an important part in supporting learning in higher education. The main problem underlying this research is the limited understanding of the impact of LMS on the development of students' language skills, especially at the higher education level. This study aims to explore the impact of LMS on the development of students' language skills. Qualitative research methods with a case study approach are used to deeply understand the experiences of students and lecturers in using LMS. By triangulating data collected from observations, interviews, and document analysis, this study attempts to present a comprehensive picture of the implementation of LMS in language education. The data obtained in this study were analyzed thematically. The results of the study indicate that LMS features such as discussion forums, collaborative assignments, and automatic feedback contribute significantly to improving students' writing, speaking, and reading skills. In conclusion, LMS plays an important role in supporting the development of language skills, but the optimization of the use of these features needs to be considered. This study is expected to provide insight for teachers and LMS developers in creating more effective learning strategies.

Abstract

The increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in language learning has opened new opportunities for improving second language (L2) pronunciation skills. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of integrating artificial intelligence into second language pronunciation training by examining its impact on learners' outcomes through a mixed-methods approach. Quantitative results from 60 participants showed the AI group (M=4.89) significantly outperformed the control group (M=3.71) in post-tests (p=0.001), with an 85% vs 65% improvement rate. Qualitative interviews revealed three key findings: (1) real-time feedback enhanced engagement and self-confidence, (2) notable improvements in intonation and stress patterns, but (3) limitations in recognizing regional accents. The results demonstrate that AI-assisted pronunciation training offers clear advantages over traditional methods in enhancing L2 pronunciation. However, limitations in accent recognition highlight the need for further development of AI speech processing technologies. This study provides empirical support for integrating AI into language education, highlighting its potential and areas that require improvement.

Abstract

Keperawatan sebagai profesi dikembangkan sesuai dengan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (iptek) dan memperhatikan tuntutan kebutuhan masyarakat akan pelayanan kesehatan/keperawatan. Pemerintah Kabupaten Lombok Timur telah mengeluarkan kebijakan tentang Kompetensi Pegawai di lingkup Pemerintah Kabupaten Lombok Timur melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan. Salah satu bentuk program saat ini adalah pengembangan pegawai yang dilakukan melalui program pendidikan dan pelatihan kompetensi keperawatan professional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari kebijakan lokal terhadap minat melanjutkan studi keperawatan ke jenjang S1 keperawatan Lombok Timur tahun 2015. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik yaitu dengan pengamatan langsung kelapangan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua perawat yang ada di Kabupaten Lombok Timur (Puskesmas Sakra dan Puskesmas Lepak) sejumlah 45 perawat, sementara sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 20 perawat. Dari hasil penelitian ini, responden yang berminat untuk melanjutkan studi sebesar (15%), yang kurang berminat (65%), dan yang tidak berminat sama sekali (20%). Dukungan atasan terhadap minat melanjutkan studi sebesar (60%), dan yang tidak mendukung sebesar (40%).

Abstract

Anak yang mengalami retardasi mental sangat memerlukan dukungan khusus dari keluarga, karena dukungan tersebut akan mempengaruhi sikap dan perilaku anak, Dukungan keluarga sangat penting karena keluargalah yang paling lama berinteraksi dengan pasien. Dalam keluarga masalah dapat muncul dan dalam keluarga pula masalah dapat dicarikan alternatifnya.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk Mengetahui gambaran serta mendeskripsikan dukungan keluarga terhadap anak retardasi mental di SLB  Praya. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh anggota keluarga anak dengan reterdasi mental di SLB  Praya, dengan populasi 304 orang dan di dapatkan sampel sebanyak 70 orang dengan reterdasi mental. Jenis penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Data di ambil pada 70 responden dari anggota keluarga anak dengan reterdasi mental. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan analisa data dengan menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif yang menunjukan gambaran dari dukungan keluarga terhadap anak dengan reterdasi mental di SLB  Praya. Dengan demikian maka diharapkan anggota keluarga yang memiliki anak dengan reterdasi mental agar memperhatikan pola asuh dan dukungan terhadap anak denagn reterdasi mental agar anak dengan reterdasi mental dapat berinteraksi dengan baik sehinggan sikap dan perilaku anak dapat menjadi lebih baik.
