Abstract

Sebagian besar APE diperoleh dengan cara membeli dan minimnya kreativitas serta inovatif dalam pengadaan alat permainan edukatif dan keberadaan alat permainan edukatif (APE) kurang mendapat perhatian serta jarang sekali digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di RA Team Cendekia, hal ini merupakan alasan mengapa kegiatan Program Pengabdian Masyarakat yaitu Pelatihan Pembuatan APE diselenggarakan. Tujuan Program Pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan atau pemahaman tentang APE dan berupaya untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas guru RA Team Cendekia dalam pembuatan APE atau alat permainan edukatif yang mana untuk bahan dapat diambil dari barang yang ada disekitar, bahkan mungkin juga dari bahan bekas yang masih bisa dimanfaatkan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini, dimulai dari tahap persiapan, tahap sosialisasi, tahap pelatihan, tahap pendampingan dan tahap monitoring serta tahap pengembangan dimana dalam tahap pengembangan ini diharapkan lembaga mempunyai galeri alat permainan edukatif agar lembaga lain bisa termotivasi dalam pembuatan APE. Dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini pengetahuan, kemampuan dan pengalaman serta kreatifitas guru RA Team Cendekia meningkat, terciptanya galeri APE, dan terjalinnya kerjasama guru-guru PAUD terkait dan institusi Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran bagi anak usia dini serta publikasi jurnal

Abstract

Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) merupakam pendekatan pembelajaran yang menekankan pada proses keterlibatan siswa secara penuh agar dapat menemukan materi yang dipelajari serta menghubungkannya dengan kehidupan nyata sehingga dapat mendorong siswa untuk dapat menerapkan materi tersebut dalam kehidupan mereka. Perkembangan kognitif adalah kemampuan yang dimiliki seseorang dalam memecahkan suatu permasalahan. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu apakah model pembelajaran CTL berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan kognitif pada anak kelompok B di TK Rahmat Surabaya.Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran CTL terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak TK B di TK Rahmat Surabaya.Pendekatan penelitian adalah kuantitatif model penelitian eksperimental, dimana peneliti memberikan perlakuan berupa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model CTL dan melakukan observasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran serta melakukan pengukuran sebelum dan sesudah pemberian teratment. Populasi penelitian ini sejumlah 44 anak, penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan desain eksperimen model Quasi Ekperimental, dimana desain ini mempunyai kelompok kontrol tetapi tidak dapat berfungsi sepenuhnya untuk mengontrol variabel luar yang mempengaruhi eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan Non Equivalent Kontrol Grup Design, dimana kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontol tidak dipilih secara random (Sugiono, 2014) .Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan test dan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis (menggunakan uji t). Berdasarkan hasil analisis, terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model CTL terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak keolompok B di TK Rahmat Surabaya. Terbukti dari nilai thitung .453 > nilai ttabel 2.074 dengan signifikasi 0.002 < 0.05 oleh karenanya H0 ditolak, artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan perkembangan kognitif antara sebelum dan sesudah penerapan metode CTL.

Abstract

Advances in technology and the times are increasingly global, require parents to adapt quickly to the changing times. The childcare has traditionally had started at the left along with the era of increasingly apparent disruption in sight. Parenting training objectives early childhood in an era of disruption is a response from the busyness of parents in making a living, rapid advances in technology, the rise of gadgets, social media, youtube, online games, and negative news. Training delivery methods using lectures, discussions and brainstorming group. Training processes with the assessment phase, the implementation phase, and the phase of assessment and evaluation phase. Training results illustrate that parents have started to realize the education of children in the age of disruption, the use of technology-based smart parenting, immune selfer, character education and religious values in accordance with the teachings of the Prophet. Parents educate children to have manners, polite, obedient worship, and establish good relationships with others, as well as parents provide love, security, smart in dealing with the times.

Abstract

The socialization with the theme of the central learning model as the implementation of independent learning for early childhood has the aim of conveying the basic principles of the central learning model that can be used as a form of independent learning for the level of students. This is based on implementing the central learning model, which is not following the principles but is currently being demanded by the existence of an independent learning era. Participants have explained the central learning model, its principles, and its implementation. In addition, it also explains the meaning of independent learning and its relationship to the central learning model. This activity was carried out at the NU 42 Nurul Ulum Kindergarten in Gresik. The participants who took part in this activity were ten teachers and school principals. There were many positive responses which could be seen from the enthusiasm of the questions asked and the interesting question and answer process.

Abstract

Kognitif adalah kemampuan belajar atau berfikir atau kecerdasan yaitu kemampuan untuk mempelajari keterampilan dan konsep baru, keterampilan untuk memahami apa yang terjadi di lingkungannya, serta keterampilan menggunakan daya ingat dan penyelesaian soal-soal sederhana. Pemberian stimulus dari pendidik berupa pemberian apresiasi dan hukuman akan sangat mempengaruhi cara berpikir peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi Reward dan Punishment dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi tehnik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) Implementasi Reward dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik dilakukan dengan memberikan Reward dalam bentuk pujian, pemberian bintang serta memberikan apresiasi dalam bentuk hadiah. (2) Implementasi Punishment dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik dilakukan dengan cara memberi peringatan secara bertahap, memberi teguran spontan memberikan sanksi hukuman, penerapan Punishment yang bersifat mendidik dan memberi jera pada anak tetapi tidak membahayakan anak. (3) Evaluasi implementasi Reward dan Punishment dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif adalah dengan menggunakan evaluasi proses, dimana penilaian yang dilakukan di saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung dengan mengamati kognitif peserta didik sehari-hari ketika berada di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

The background of this class action research is the ability of children who are lacking in recognizing the concept of numbers. Of the 20 kindergarten students in group A, there were 3 active students in the activity while 17 other children were just silent and experiencing problems. This study aims to find out and improve teaching in school and increase the ability to recognize the concept of numbers by using traditional play media media in kindergarten children A RA Team Scholar Surabaya. Research data collection through observation. Research activities are planning and implementation as well as observation and reflection. There are two cycles used in this study, the first cycle and the second cycle. From the research, it was found that the indicator of success level was reached during the second improvement. Indicator of the success rate is only 40% in the first cycle, this means that still not fulfilled the predetermined standard of children's ability achievement of 80%.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pembelajaran di usia anak-anak tidak jauh dengan kegiatan bermain. Karena bermain sendiri merupakan dunia mereka. Apapun yang anak-anak pelajari di sekolah pasti menggunakan metode bermain dalam belajarnya. Namun kemampuan setiap anak dalam menerima pembelajaran berbeda-beda. Seperti halnya di TK Muslimat NU 272 Baiturrohiem Duduksampeyan pada siswa kelompok A. Kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan pada anak menjadi masalah utama dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pretest-Posttest One Group Design. Dalam penelitian ini mengambil sampel sebanyak 18 siswa yang artinya pada penelitian ini menggunakan statistik non parametrik. Pada data menunjukkan nilai rata-rata pada pretest dan posttest 153 meningkat menjadi 192 saat sudah diberikan treatment. Berdasarkan output test statistic, Thitung > Ttabel yaitu 3.320 > 1.734 . Jadi dapat dikatakan bahwa Ha diterima yang berarti ada pengaruh media permainan congklak untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan pada siswa kelompok A di TK Muslimat NU 272 Baiturrohiem Duduksampeyan. Abstract

Entrepreneurial spirit encompasses self-reliance in seeking income through business ventures or channeling personal creativity into income-generating opportunities. Entrepreneurship education, however, goes beyond teaching children the basics of business; it aims to develop their mental and character traits. A study conducted at RA Dwi Savitri in Surabaya sought to describe the cultivation of entrepreneurial spirit through the Saturday Canteen activity. Data was gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the Saturday Canteen activity serves as a training ground for entrepreneurship. The school facilitates this activity by scheduling it every Saturday, with 3-4 students acting as sellers and handling real monetary transactions. This experience instills traits such as creativity, responsibility, honesty, trustworthiness, independence, and self-confidence. Teachers also play a role in monitoring and guiding students during the Saturday Canteen activity, ensuring its effectiveness in fostering entrepreneurial skills and mindset.

Abstract

The development of early childhood is influenced by emotional social aspect. In the emotional aspect there is one part that affects the development of children is self-awareness. When the child knows of consciousness, then there is also a prosocial behavior. Based on the observation of early childhood (4-5 years) in Khadijah Pandegiling Surabaya kindergarten found that only 10 children have low self-awareness level and only 15 children have low prosocial behavior. Learning in Khadijah kindergarten in developing self-awareness and prosocial behavior can be done through habituation-habituation that aims to develop their own ability and survival. The aim of this study to determine the habit of self-awareness and prosocial behavior in early child aged 4-5 years in Khadijah Pandegiling Surabaya Kindergarten. This type of research is experimental research, with quantitative approach. The subjects of the study were TK A students in kindergarten Khadijah Pandegiling Surabaya.totaling 60 students. Data analysis technique used is Analysis of Variance (anova).The results of this study indicate that (1) Habituation effect on self-awareness in children aged 4-5 years in kindergarten Khadijah Pandegiling Surabaya; (2) Habituation effect on prosocial behavior in children aged 4-5 years in kindergarten Khadijah Pandegiling Surabaya; (3) Habituation effect on self-awareness and prosocial behavior in children aged 4-5 years in kindergarten Khadijah Pandegiling Surabaya.

Abstract

Early childhood is considered a golden age where children possess exceptional potential and talents if optimally stimulated. However, current educational practices often fall short in achieving educational goals, particularly in character building. Issues such as bullying in schools indicate that children may develop poor behaviors due to unoptimized environmental roles. Recognizing the importance of instilling character education in children, a conducive environment significantly impacts their character formation. This study aims to understand the role of the school environment in shaping the character of Group B children at RA Dwi Savitri Surabaya. The study focuses on five character traits as per the Ministry of Education and Culture's guidelines: Rationality, Nationalism, Independence, Cooperation, and Integrity. Respondents include teachers and children at RA Dwi Savitri. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and case study design, data were analyzed through interviews and observations. Findings show that character development at RA Dwi Savitri is consistently practiced daily. Religious character is fostered through routines like reciting short surahs, Asmaul Husna, performing Dhuha prayers, and daily prayers from 08:00 to 09:00. Nationalism is developed by reciting the Pancasila, singing the national anthem, and engaging in Independence Day activities. Independence is encouraged through self-feeding and independent learning. Cooperation is taught through group activities, sharing, and community events. Integrity is instilled through an honesty canteen, saving pocket money, completing school tasks, and punctuality.
