Abstract

Football and politics are now two things that can not be separated. The development of football is increasingly rapidly making this sport a source and an instrument to obtain certain goals. The goal can be at variance, ranging from the acquisition of capital to power, existence, and ideologization. This research on two objects that missed will use secondary data as data collection technique that is in the form of book literature, local and international journal, as well as other materials that support and relate to the title of research including mass media and using study of qualitative analysis as technique in analyzing data. There are three representations of FC Barcelona symbols of Catalan political identity, namely: First, language and flags; Secondly, Catalan and FC Barcelona have dark memories of history; Third, the symbols that exist in FC Barcelona is a representation of the spirit of Catalan nationalism.

Abstract

This study aims to compare social protection policies in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic with Universal Basic Income (UBI) as a new paradigm of social protection policies in Indonesia. This research is a research using literature study method or literature review. In essence, a literature review is a thorough review of previous research on a particular topic. Literature studies can be obtained from various sources, including journals, books, documentation, the internet and libraries. The literature study method collects library data, reads and takes notes, and manages writing materials. The type of writing used is a literature study that focuses on writing results related to writing topics or variables. The results of the study show that in the Indonesian context, although UBI can minimize the level of targeting errors, both inclusion error (including households that are not poor in targeting) and excluding poor households in targeting, the benefits received by disadvantaged groups can be higher than assistance programs. with specific targets. In addition, it should be noted, the application of UBI in times of crisis and economic recovery must still be complemented by social assistance programs with specific targets.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengamati pemilihan umum tahun 2019 untuk mengidentifikasi salah satu masalah yang paling disorot yaitu kompleksitas penyelenggaraannya, yang kemudian menyebabkan masalah turunan lainnya: banyaknya jumlah suara tidak sah, lamanya durasi teknis pemilihan dan kelebihan beban kerja bagi pekerja kepemiluan yang menyebabkan kematian. Dari kompleksitas itu, penelitian menjawab pertanyaan: apa yang menjadi faktor kompleksitas pemilu di Indonesia? dan bagaimana dari faktor tersebut, pemilu dapat disederhanakan? Tulisan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan mempelajari berbagai dokumen sebagai teknis analisis. Temuan dari tulisan ini menunjukkan banyaknya jenis surat suara menjadi titik sentral dari kompleksnya pemilu di Indonesia. Untuk itu, proses penyederhanaan pemilu berikutnya sangat penting diarahkan untuk memikirkan desain ulang terhadap surat suara. Menggunakan teori kesederhanaan Ockham, dan konsep pembuatan surat suara yang diatur dalam UU Nomor 7 tahun 2017 tentang Pemilihan Umum, penelitian ini berupaya memberikan gambaran diskursus penyesuasian surat suara, dan sekaligus memberikan alternatif surat suara yang mengusung konsep penyederhanaan.

Abstract

This study is based on the rise of the gig economy in Indonesia, particularly in the online transportation sector, which offers work flexibility but often comes with economic vulnerability for its workers. Online drivers face income uncertainty and a lack of social security, threatening the welfare of their households. This study uses qualitative methods with a literature review and in-depth interviews to examine these issues. The theoretical framework combines the concepts of the precariat, digital political-economic analysis, and human security perspectives to understand the vulnerabilities experienced by workers. The results show that the flexible work system based on digital platforms creates economic uncertainty for online driver workers. This situation is characterized by fluctuating and unguaranteed income, a partnership status that is vulnerable to termination at any time, and very limited social protection. In conclusion, the pseudo-flexibility in this gig economy model creates precarious conditions that undermine the economic security of online drivers and negatively impact their families' welfare. Therefore, structural efforts are needed to improve protection and certainty for workers in Indonesia's gig economy ecosystem.
