Abstract

Abstract

This study objectives were to investigate the track of shark trade from Bali Province, the exports volume of shark trade during 2015-2016, the length of sharks; species exported in the ETP category; and the effectiveness of shark trade license by BPSPL Denpasar based on EAFM analysis. This study used exploration method with questionnaires, interviews and secondary data from BPSPL Denpasar. The results showed that the track of shark trade started from when the shark is caught by the fishermen which purchased by exporter companies, then they had to get shipment recommendation letter from BPSPL Denpasar and fish health certificate from BKIPM Class I Denpasar, then sharks was brought to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport for final check and ready to be exported to the destination country. During 2015-2016 there were 559 sharks from the species of Carcharhinus melanopterus, Triaenodon obesus, Orectolobus maculatus, Atelomycterus marmoratus, Chiloscyllium plagiosum and Halaelurus maculosus that have been exported to the 12 destination countries. The EAFM analysis of lengths indicated that the shark's size was at a very young until adult age. Meanwhile, the EAFM analysis of ETP species shows there were 4 shark types of Near Threatened, 1 type of Least Concern status and 1 type of Not Evaluated. Finally the result of EAFM analysis on the effectiveness of shark trade license by BPSPL Denpasar showed that the decision was well executed and run effectively, and so far the shark fishery management at Bali Province is applied successfully.

Abstract

Ngurah Rai Forest Park Bali is a mangrove forest area located along Benoa Bay. Tahura Ngurah Rai area was found in more than 10 types of mangroves, one of which was the caseolaris Sonneratia. This study aims to determine the potential and distribution of caseolaris Sonneratia based on soil type, and determine the type of substrate in the caseolaris Sonneratia distribution. The method is observational by sampling plots for tree stand categories and pole categories five station areas. Water parameters analyzed were temperature, dissolved oxygen, salinity, and pH. The soil parameters analyzed were soil pH, organic C, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, potassium, and water content. The results showed that the density of caseolaris Sonneratia trees at each station varied where the highest at station V (Nusa Dua) at 1,397 ind / ha and the lowest at station II (Suwung Kauh) with density of 177 ind / ha. Specific density values five stations fall into criteria. The type closure that entered the criteria of lack / damage is found at stations I, II, III, and IV, while for the category of very dense (good) at station V. The most pattern is the distribution pattern "clustered" (ind> 1). The range of physics-chemical parameters the waters in Tahura Ngurah Rai the highest temperature 30.33 oC and the lowest 28.36 oC , the highest salinity 25 ppm and the lowest 11 ppm, the highest dissolved oxygen 6.16 mg / L and the lowest 6.2 mg / L, the highest pH values are 8 and lowest 7.

The method used to achieve these objectives is through mentoring in the field of education, ecotourism study simulations increasing human resources in the organization of tourism awareness groups and encouraging the formation of supervisory community groups, restocking giant prawns (Macrobrachium rosenbergii) and upstream endemic fish (waterfalls) as a tourist attraction. The potentials of Galungan Village are forests, rivers, and communities of that environment. Besides that, the climate of this village is potential for the development of a tourist village. The Galungan Village supervisor community has a very important role in managing the efforts to develop village tourism. Conservation of the environment through the maintenance and nursery of endemic fish in watersheds can be one factor to provide other attractions besides the beauty of the forest and waterfalls in Galungan Village

Abstract

Catfish production in the province of Bali isn’t optimal, because it hasn’t itegarted ancillary factors suchcultivation; pond, hatcheries, feed alternatives, and super-intensive cultivation technology innovation. Innovation and alternative developed is the rearing ponds catfish using tarpaulin material. The purpose of this research is to create a pond tarp protype appropriate and provide information to rural communities, to be able to utilize these resources to activities with catfish Cara Budidaya Ikan Yang Baik (CBIB). The method used is through data collection, both secondary data and primary data. Secondary data is by observation of the existing pond tarp in Buleleng regency, then obtain primary data of conducting an experiment directly manufacture for pond tarpaulins, seed preparation, feeding management, harvesting and post-harvest. The results of this study found that, pond tarps are made under the soil surface using a mold lined with good soil to be used cultivation of catfish. Pond tarpaulin by using a mold of land besides the cost is very cheap, also can withstand the pressure from the edge of the pond so it is not easy to damage the pond. Management of water quality management can be easily done, because the pond tarp in this type of outlet. Conditions pond tarp after one cycle of post-harvest still reusable.
