Abstract

Sanggalangit is one of the villages in Gerokgak District, Buleleng Regency, Bali Province. This village located at the coastal area. The main catch of fishermen in there is anchovy (Stolephorus sp.). The feasibility analysis of anchovy fishing business by traditional fishermen in Sanggalangit aims to determine the condition of the fishing business and analyze the feasibility of anchovy fishing business in Sanggalangit. This research took place from December 2019 to January 2020. Primary data were obtained by interview and direct observation in the field. Sampling was done by purposive sampling for 30 times fish landing (30 trips). Based on the data obtained, the fishing business classified as small scale (traditional) with a profit sharing system. Profit sharing system were 50% for owner's fishermen and 50% for working fishermen. Investment costs incurred in the amount of Rp. 58,200,000. The fixed cost per trip is Rp. 70,529 and the average variable cost per trip is Rp. 425,708. Average revenue per trip Rp. 706,417 with a profit Rp. 210,179. The value of the Production BEP is 2,156 kg and the Sales BEP is Rp 37,275,815 in a year. Analysis of R /C Ratio obtained a value of 1.42 shows that the business is feasible to run and can provide benefits. Payback Period value 1.32 shows that the category of initial capital return is relatively fast.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the relationship between the maturity level of female abalone gonads with fecundity and egg diameter size of abalone. The results obtained showed that abalone having gonadal maturity level 1 was in the range of 3-4.5cm; gonadal maturity level 2 in the range size of 4.6-6 cm; and gonadal maturity level 3 in the size range> 6 cm. The results of the abalone gonad histology test showed that abalone with gonadal maturity level 1 had more ootid distribution than the primary oocyte. gonadal maturity level 2 has more ootid distribution, primary oocytes than secondary oocytes. Whereas in gonadal maturity level 3 it appears that secondary oocytes dominate which means the gonads are mature and ready to be spawned. The oocyte diameter is getting bigger and more similar simultaneously with an increasing level of gonad maturity. Abalone with gonadal maturity level 1 has an average oocyte diameter of 187 ?m gonadal maturity level 2 of 190 ?m, and gonadal maturity level 3 of 217 ?m.Abalone fecundity for gonadal maturity level 1 ranged from 60,480-86,190 oocytes; TKG 2 ranges from 196,560-214,520 oocyte grains; and TKG 3 ranges from 483,600-518,880 oocyte grains. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the higher the level of maturity of the abalone gonad, the greater the fecundity with the distribution of more secondary oocytes seen in the results of the gonad abalone histology test.

Abstract

This study objectives is to determine how the condition of the purse seine fishery business and also to determine the feasibility of the purse seine fisheries business in Benoa Public Port. In this study the method used is descriptive quantitative method. The data analysis method used is by calculating income, depreciation, and business profits, then to find out the business feasibility calculated the value of the payback period, B / C ratio, break event point. The primary data taken is data belonging to KM Bintang Bahagia 6 which is in the form of fish catch data per trip for 1 year, investment costs, fixed costs and variable costs, while secondary data is taken from the literature as well as data from the Directorate General of Marine Resources and Fisheries in the form of data on the number of purse seine fleets and the number of catches of purse seine vessels in Benoa Public Port. The condition of the fisheries business with purse seine fishing equipment in Benoa Public Port can be categorized as still quite good. This can be seen from the large number of operating fleets and the catches obtained are still relatively stable. The value of the payback period obtained is 1.1, B / C ratio 1.6, and BEP units of 99,433 kg and BEP sales of Rp 2,165,557,791. With this analysis, it can be stated that purse seine fisheries are feasible.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of water quality in the Pelus River, Purbalingga Regency, Central Java. Water sampling is carried out in the upstream, middle and downstream sections, from June 2019 to July 2019. The water sample was then analyzed for the content of water quality parameters including COD and BOT measured using permanganate-based Titrimetry method, DO is measured using the Winkler method, TSS is measured using the Gravimetric method, then the TDS is measured using a TDS meter, Turbidity is measured using a Turbidity meter, then Nitrate and Phosphate are measured using the Spectrophotometry meth od, and water pH is measured using a pH meter. The results showed an increase in the value of water quality temporally and spatially ie (COD 28-43 mg/L, BOT 8.4-11.3 mg/L, DO 7.3-5.7 mg/L, TSS 32-65 mg/L, TDS 98-168 mg/L, Turbidity 7.2-12.7 NTU, Nitrate 0.8-1.4 mg/L, Phosphate 0.3-0.5 mg/L and pH 6.8-6.6). Temporal and spatial increase in the value of water quality, allegedly due to rainfall and high atropogenic activity in the Pelus River. Keywords: Pelus River; water quality; pollution; Purbalingga
