Abstract

The problem with the Youth Fellowship at GKI I.S Kijne Abepura congregation is that they do not have the skills and abilities to use information technology for digital marketing. The purpose of the Uncen PNBP service in 2022 is to transfer science and technology for PAM at GKI Congregation I.S Kijne Abepura so that they can increase innovation, skills and abilities in conducting digital marketing. Community service activities are carried out using lecture, discussion, question and answer methods, practice, and evaluation. The stages of implementation include planning, conducting training, evaluating activities, and reporting. The results achieved from the Uncen PNBP dedication are that young people in the GKI Congregation I.S Kijne Abepura have knowledge, skills, and can sell online on the online business platform tokopedia.com. Keywords: PAM; GKI I.S Kijne; Tokopedia; Digital Marketing; Training

Abstract

Home automation is an automation technology that manages circuits and electronic equipment in homes, offices, and others. Home automation is a form of Internet of Things (IoT) development that allows communication and control through devices connected to the internet. This study aims to design a Home Automation prototype on lighting devices such as lamps, light sensors to activate lights, and several lights controlled using mobile devices. The research method uses the prototype method, where system development is focused on the results of input from customers who will be evaluated for software development. The stages in this research begin with analyzing device requirements, literature study, system design, hardware design, user interface design testing, and arriving at the results. This research output will be made in the form of a prototype, where all components will be placed based on the layout described in the design. This system can help users control the equipment in the house from anywhere and anytime, including using light sensors to provide input to turn the lights on or off.

Abstract

Permasalahan pada SMP Advent Abepura Papua adalah model pembelajaran yang masih dilakukan secara tradisional yaitu guru menyampaiakan materi pelajaran, memberikan tugas, kuis, mengumpulkan tugas hanya dilakukan di sekolah. Hal ini tidak dapat dilakukan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 berdasarkan Surat EdaranKementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan  No. 4 tahun 2020. Apabila ada guru yang berhalangan untuk mengajar maka proses belajar mengajar tidak terlaksana. Penyampaian informasi kepada siswa melalui pemberitahuan langsung dari guru atau siswa melihat informasi pengumuman di sekolah. Solusi permasalahan yaitu penerapanaplikasi e-learningn edmodo untuk pembelajaran online pada SMP Advent Abepura Papua. Penerapan aplikasi elearning berbasis edmodo bermanfaat bagi guru dan siswa karena digunakan sebagai blended learning untuk pembelajaran. Hasil pelaksaan kegiatan pengabdian adalah peningkatan kemampuan dan keterampilan guru / siswa dalam menggunakan aplikasi e-learning edmodo sebagai media untuk proses belajar mengajar. Penerapan aplikasi elearning edmodo  meliputi pembuatan akun guru, akun siswa, melengkapi profil guru, mebuat kelas virtual di edmodo, melihat kode akses kelas untuk siswa, dan manajemen pengelolaan edmodo seperti memasukkan bahan ajar ke dalam menu library, membuat tugas dan ujian. Kata Kunci : Edmodo, E-learning, SMP Advent Abepura, Aplikasi, Covid-19.

Abstract

Tujuan pelatihan adalah melakukan transfer IPTEK kepada guru di SD Advent Abepura untukmembuat video pembelajaran sekolah online dimasa Covid 19 menggunakan aplikasi microsoftpresentasi power point dan aplikasi icecream screen recorder. Materi pembelajaran dalam bentuk videodapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sekolah online karena dikemas dalam bentuk videointeraktif, sehingga siswa tertarik belajar, mengembangkan kemandirian siswa dalam belajar, dansiswa dapat memutar kembali video pembelajaran yang belum dimengerti. Materi pembelajarandalam bentuk video, memungkinkan bagi siswa untuk dapat belajar kapanpun dan dimanapun. Abstract

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Cenderawasih, regularly selects outstanding students every year. Currently, the process of selecting outstanding students is carried out conventionally which results in the emergence of several problems such as missing data, ineffective report management, and data vulnerability. Decision support systems (DSS) are computer systems that help manage data into information that can help make the right decisions. The profile matching method is a method in SPK that compares individual competitions to award competitions so that the differences in competition (also called gaps) can be identified. The Decision Support System for Selection of Outstanding Students Using the Profile Matching Method is made web-based so that it is more dynamic in interoperability and supports multiplatform ecosystems. This system is created using the PHP programming language with the Codeigniter framework, and MySQL database. Based on the test results, it was concluded that the system with these 4 actors (administrator, study program head, jury and students) could run well, using the black box testing system. The parameters used in analyzing the profile matching of outstanding students are GPA, Scientific Writing, English Language Proficiency, Other Skills, Student Semester and the organization joined. By adding the weighting, the appropriate profile matching is obtained.

Abstract

Children The problem with the learning system at Abepura Adventist Elementary School is that students feel bored with the teacher-centered learning process and they are not active and interested in learning mathematics. The aim of the Uncen PNBP service in 2023 is training in Android-based interactive mathematics learning media for teachers and students at Abepura Adventist Elementary School which can support the teaching and learning process. The methods of service activities are lectures, discussions, questions and answers, demonstrations and practice in using Android math applications. The results achieved from the Uncen PNBP service are that teachers and students can use the Android math application as an interactive learning medium that can increase knowledge, skills and innovation in information and communication technology-based learning models.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected many aspects of life. In education, the conventional learning process has drastically changed to online. Schools with good resources and infrastructure, of course, can quickly adapt. However, schools with limited infrastructure, as well as low teacher skills, are a challenge. This research is to study the implementation of e-learning in online kindergarten classes from the existing conditions, challenges, and learning strategies that will be applied in PAUD schools in Jayapura City. The results of this study can be used as a reference in making decisions for implementing more effective online learning at the PAUD level. To gather data, a survey was conducted among 20 kindergarten and early childhood teaching staff in Jayapura City using a combination of methods, including contacting the schools, WhatsApp, and Google Forms. The findings reveal that the kindergarten-level teaching staff are predominantly women, aged between 24 and 54 years, with the majority falling within the age range of 35-53 years. The study also highlights the importance of e-learning in the current pandemic, as it enables teachers to document the educational process, remain organized, and provide more effective support to students amid distance restrictions and other challenges. The study results show that e-learning is essential to be prepared, especially during a pandemic. The willingness to engage in e-learning can help teachers document the educational process, be more organized, and be more helpful to students amid distance restrictions and other effects. However, teachers still need training to improve skills related to digital literacy. The training is more on multimedia to support learning and create exciting learning content with Multimedia.

Abstract

Public junior high school 13 Jayapura did not implement the e-library application in the library, causing difficulties in book management, book borrowing transactions, and students needing assistance to find books in the library. The purpose of this community service activity is to apply science and technology through training in using web-based e-library applications to students of Jayapura 13 public junior high school. Training activities increase students' knowledge, skills, and interest in reading. Implementation of activities includes lectures, discussions, questions and answers, demonstrations, practice, and evaluation. The implementation of this community service activity consists of six stages, namely coordination with the school, socialization of the use of the e-library application, training and practice of using the e-library application, evaluation, and preparing reports. The results of this community service activity are that students can operate the e-library application, increase their knowledge and skills in using the e-library application, make it easier to find books in the library and increase their interest in reading through the e-library application.

Abstract

Pelatihan manajemen website dan Sosial Media di Kabupaten Keerom bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan potensi Kabupaten secara online. Sebagai salah satu kabupaten di daerah paling luar, dan berbatasan dengan Negara Papua New Guinea, Pemerintah Kabupaten Keerom perlu menampilkan informasi yang menyeluruh mengenai potensi daerah serta profile lain yang dianggap penting. Analisis sistem dilakukan dengan metode PIECES  Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan dilakukan dengan dengan pendekatan wawancara,Pengembangan Website itu sendiri serta workshop kepada beberapa pegawai yang bertuhas. Pendampingan dilakukan selama setahun. Hasil dari pelatihan tersebut berupa website dan akun sosial media . Dengan adanya website proses penyebaran informasi dapat lebih mudah, sehingga potensi yang dimiliki, dapat tersampaikan kepada masyarakat luas secara online. Hasil implementasi, diperoleh bahwa website perlu mengalami peningkatan untuk faktor performa, informasi dan layanan

Abstract

The ability to master and understand English, for example, in reading, writing, listening and speaking is still a big obstacle faced by students of the English Language study program at Universitas Persatuan Guru 1945 NTT. This is caused by the implementation of a learning system that is still centered on lecturers as instructors. As a result, the learning process occurs only in one direction and is not interactive because students tend to only listen to the lecturer's explanation and be passive. Also, students become unable to focus so they experience difficulty in developing the ability to respond to the material received and develop innovative creative ideas independently. This research aims to design and develop an Android-based mobile application as a learning medium that can be integrated into the flipped classroom model in English courses. This mobile application development uses the waterfall method comprising five stages, namely identifying user needs, analysis, design, implementation and testing. This research resulted in the development of an Android-based mobile application as a learning medium that applies the flipped classroom model which is used to change the learning style to be more student-centered so as to provide an interesting learning experience
