Abstract

This research was conducted based on the results of research carried out by researchers in class V of SD Inpres Kinali. This research aims to determine the positive and negative impacts of using gadgets on fifth grade students at SD Inpres Kinali. This type of research is qualitative research which takes place at SD Inpres Kinali. In qualitative research, the research instrument or tool is the researcher himself. The data collection technique in this research is that the data in this research was collected using observation guidelines, interview guidelines and documentation guidelines (Rukin, 2019: 1). In this research, researchers used the Miles and Huberman data analysis model which includes three stages, namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. This research obtained results namely that the positive impact of gadgets in terms of learning is good because they can be used as tools in the teaching and learning process. Meanwhile, the negative impact in terms of attitudes is the erosion of character in the teaching and learning process

Abstract

This research aims to improve social studies learning outcomes through the talking stick learning model in class V of Sarongsong State Elementary School. This research is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of several stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Data about learning activities in class was obtained from teacher observations in managing learning, and tests on student learning outcomes. The data obtained is processed using percentages according to predetermined activity criteria. The results of this research show that the learning outcomes of class V students at Sarongsong State Elementary School on ethnic groups in Indonesia by applying the talking stick learning model in cycle I was 67.25% (which was not completed according to the classical KKM) and increased in cycle II, namely 88 % (completed using the classical KKM) Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that applying the talking stick learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Indonesian language learning in class V of Sarongsong State Elementary School. It can be seen that the increase in learning outcomes in social studies subjects from cycle I to cycle II increased by 18.25%. Based on these conclusions, it is hoped that Sarongsong State Elementary School teachers can apply the talking stick learning model to other subjects in order to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa ditengah pandemi Covid-19 pada siswa SD Negeri 2 Tomohon. Dimana variabel dalam penalitian ini adalah motivasi belajar (X) dan hasil belajar (Y). Populasi dalam penalitian ini adalah siswa SD Negeri 2 Tomohon, dimana teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster sampling, dan didapat 30 siswa sebagai sampel kelas IV. Teknik pengambilan Data penelitian menggunakan angket untuk pengambilan data motivasi belajar yang sudah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data hasil belajar diambil dengan teknik dokumentasi yaitu data nilai pembelajaran Tema 4 kelas IV.  Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t pada taraf signifikan (𝑎) = 0.05 yang pada uji normalitis data X menunjukkan Lhitung = 0,060 < Ltabel = 0.16, sedangkan data Y menunjukkan Lhitung = 0,159 dan nilai Ltabel = 0.161 sehingga kedua data dapat dikatakan normal. Selanjutnya pada uji homogenitas menggunakan statistic uji F, dengan s₁² =87,32 dan s₂² = 48,00 dengan 𝑎 = 0,05 memberikan nilai =1,81 sedangkan = 1,86. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa = 1,86. Dapat dikatakan bahwa data variabel motivasi belajar dan variabel hasil belajar siswa berdistribusi homogen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan =2,15 dan =2,00. Maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh antara motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD. Motivasi belajar siswa dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu tolak ukur untuk menilai keberhasilan suatu pendidikan di sekolah, dimana hasil belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor salah satunya adalah motivasi belajar dari diei siswa itu sendiri.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the competence of teachers in learning at SD Inpres Pungkol, South Minahasa Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The research sources are the principal, teachers, and students as informants to find out the extent of teachers' pedagogical competence in learning. in class IV of SD Inpres Pungkol. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are based on Miles and Huberman's theory with a sequence of steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. Data validity is carried out through triangulation of sources, techniques and time. The results of the research show that the teacher's pedagogical competence in learning in class IV of SD Inpres Pungkol is very good, it can be seen that when in the learning process the teacher can master the learning process, knows the characteristics of children well, is able to arrange administration in the class such as teaching modules, ATP, CP, to the preparation of questions and evaluation of assessments as well as being able to use electronic media in learning.

Abstract

Background. Education is a crucial factor in human life because it can encourage and determine the progress of a nation. Therefore, education is focused on increasing human resources so thateducation can improve human quality in all aspects of life. Education, as one of the most critical sectors in national development, plays a crucial role in improving the quality of life for the Indonesian people. Aims. This study aims to determine how to improve student learning outcomes through the e-inquiry learning model in PAUD children. Methods. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) study, with kindergarten children as the subjects, totaling 30 participants. The data sources are obtained from test results, observations, and questionnaires. Result. Based on the research results, the data obtained from the first cycle of teacher activity is 82%, and the data from student activity is 85%. Meanwhile, teacher activity in cycle II was 92% and student activity was 95%. And children's learning outcomes in the first cycle of 67% and in the second cycle increased by 90%. The child's response to the learning provided by the teacher is also quite good, with kindergarten children expressing pleasure in participating in this learning at a rate of 88%, and those who stated that they were not happy to participate in this learning at a rate of 12%. Conclusion. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Inquiry learning model can improve the learning outcomes of kindergarten children in vocabulary development materials. The activities of teachers and kindergarten children have been going well and are receiving a good response from the students.

Abstract

This research was carried out at SD GMIM 3 Tomohon, aiming to describe parental parenting patterns in forming the responsible character of students at SD GMIM 3 Tomohon. The research method used is qualitative research. The type of research used by researchers in this research is a case study. The data collection techniques for this research are observation, direct interviews, and documentation. The research instruments were the principal, class teachers, students and parents. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman Model which consists of four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity tests in qualitative research include credibility tests (internal validation), transferability (external validation), dependability (reliability), confirmability (objectivity). Ways to test the credibility of data or trust in data resulting from qualitative research include: extending observations, increasing persistence in research, triangulation (tringulation of sources and triangulation of data collection techniques and triangulation of time), analysis of negative cases, using reference materials, conducting check-ups. The conclusion obtained from this research is that the formation of children's character is influenced by the form of parenting patterns of parents at home. This is because parents are the ones who look after and guide children from birth to adulthood. The family is the first and foremost educator.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the results of research findings during observations in class IV of SD Inpres Ranowangko. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of reading and writing literacy for students with an auditory learning style, problems with implementing reading and writing literacy for students with an auditory learning style, as well as efforts in overcoming barriers to reading and writing literacy in students who have an auditory learning style. To realize the research objectives, this research was designed using descriptive qualitative methods. The research methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research were that it was found that the implementation of reading and writing literacy for students with a learning style was not yet optimal, and there were several obstacles in implementing reading and writing literacy for students with an auditory learning style, if seen from the indicators and basic principles of developing and implementing reading and writing literacy. including: reading and writing literacy activities are not balanced with the situation and circumstances at school. low family participation, lack of updates to reading materials, minimal availability of school facilities, minimal mastery of literacy and numeracy teaching staff, low intensity of implementation of reading and writing literacy, no PISA, PIRLS and INAP assessments, lack of variety of reading materials, lack of literacy school activities, and there is no written work from both students and teachers, low levels of parental and community involvement, and no study groups at school.

Abstract

This research aims to improve social studies learning outcomes for fifth grade students at SD Inpres Kayawu through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The research method used is a type of Classroom Action Research which consists of 4 strands, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were 26 students in class V of SD Inpres Kayawu, consisting of 15 girls and 11 boys. Before conducting the research, it was found that only 35% of students were able to achieve the KKM. After implementing cycle I, an increase of 23% or 58% of students were able to reach the KKM was found. After continuing with cycle II, an increase of 27% was found from cycle I and 50% of the pre-test score, so the learning outcomes achieved in cycle II were 85% or it could be said to be successful. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve the social studies learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Inpres Kayawu
