Abstract

In this paper, we will describe an algorithm for geodesic distance calculation that applied at the surface of triangular mesh object, to analyze its efficiency and accuracy. We applied the Fast Marching Method on Triangulated Domain (FMM On TD) with O(n lg n) time complexity, where n is the number of point/triangle vertex that represent the surface. The main task of this algorithm is to do the front propagation step from the starting point to all possible direction to obtained the final point. Every step of this algorithm, will calculate the distance from the current point to the starting point. After the calculation of the geodesic distance finished, the next process is to build the geodesic path. The main task of this step is to do the back propagation step at the object surface from the final point to the starting point. Based on the experimental result, the accuracy of the FMM on TD algorithm is more than 95%. This accuracy depend on the number of the triangles that represent the surface. The accuracy of the geodesic path and the computational times are depends on the number of the triangles that used to represent the surface Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Dalam makalah ini akan dibahas penerapan algoritma perhitungan geodesic distance pada permukaan obyek triangular mesh untuk dibuktikan tingkat keakuratan dan efisiensinya. Algoritma yang diterapkan adalah Fast Marching Method on Triangulated Domain (FMM on TD) yang berjalan dengan kompleksitas waktu O(n lg n), dimana n adalah jumlah titik pada permukaan. Inti dari algoritma ini adalah melakukan front propagation dari titik awal ke segala arah yang mungkin sampai diperoleh titik akhir. Setiap bergerak maju algoritma ini selalu menghitung nilai jarak suatu titik terhadap titik awal. Setelah proses perhitungan geodesic distance selesai, dilakukan proses pembuatan geodesic path. Inti dari proses ini adalah melakukan back propagation pada permukaan dari titik akhir sampai diperoleh titik awal. Berdasarkan uji coba, tingkat keakuratan algoritma FMM on TD adalah lebih dari 95%. Keakuratan ini dipengaruhi oleh jumlah segitiga pembentuk permukaan. Semakin banyak segitiga semakin akurat geodesic distance yang dihasilkan, tetapi waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan proses perhitungan menjadi semakin lama. Kata kunci: computational geometry, geodesic distance, geodesic path, triangular mesh, fast marching method on triangulated domain, front propagation, back propagation.

Abstract

This paper attempts to study the IT implementation in public sector organizations particularly highereducation institution in developing countries. The goal is to understand the aspects that could hamperthe successful IT implementation process in educational institution. An interpretive case study with 2weeks empirical data collection has been performed in public university in Indonesia. This studyfound several factors that hamper the implementation process in the university, either from internal orexternal organization, including limited human resources, lack of management commitment, lack ofclear job description among staffs, lack of appropriate planning and strategy for systems developmentand implementation, ineffective communication & coordination, lack of funds, lack of rewards, andgovernment policies. These findings are tie in well with the barriers and challenges found in theliterature.

Abstract

Dalam perkembangan teknologi informasi yang semakin canggih, kebutuhan perangkat keras komputer untuk membangun berbagai system meningkat, dimana dalam proses pembangunannya membutuhkan biaya yang tidak sedikit. Efisiensi dalam penggunaan cloud computing  menjadi alasan mendasar pengguna memanfaatkan teknologi cloud computing . Cloud computing  merupakan model komputasi dimana sumber daya seperti processor , storage , network  dan software  sebagai layanan diinternet. Sumber daya komputasi tersebut dapat dipenuhi oleh layanan dari cloud computing  yaitu Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) , karena didalam layanan tersebut berisi penyediaan infrastructure hardware  seperti CPU virtual  yang berisi RAM  atau memory , processor  dan disk storage . Dengan layanan Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)  tersebut dapat menghasilkan beberapa virtual machine  sehingga permasalahan perangkat keras komputer dapat diatasi. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)  tersebut dibangun menggunakan platform OpenStack  dan sistem operasi yang digunakan adalah Ubuntu server 12.04 LTS. Pembangunan Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)  telah berhasil dibangun dengan menggunakan semua jenis flavor OpenStack . Pengujian dilakukan dengan penanaman aplikasi web server pada virtual machine  dan web server berhasil diakses dengan web browser, hal ini menunjukan bahwa Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) telah berjalan dengan baik, serta terjadi peningkatan performa CPU  sebesar 1.0%, pemakaian memory  sebesar 941888k dari 2051772k

Abstract

Gangguan   hipokondrik   merupakan   gangguan   somatoform   yang   ditandai   denganpreokupasi terhadap adanya suatu penyakit serius yang melandasi terjadinya gejala-gejala yang membuat seseorang sering melakukan pemeriksaan fisik secara berulang-ulang  meski  hasilnya  tidak  terbukti  benar  sehingga  membuat  terganggunya  fungsisosial,  pekerjaan,  atau  fungsi  penting  lainnya.  Pada  kasus  ini,  seorang  perempuanberusia 28 tahun dengan keluhan sulit tidur sejak 6 bulan yang lalu dan disebabkan olehkeluhan sakit kepala yang tidak kunjung sembuh. Keadaan ini terjadi karena masalahyang terjadi pada keluarga pasien yaitu anak pasien pernah menderita suatu penyakitdan pasien merasa tidak mampu menjaga anaknya lagi. Hal tersebut membuat pasienmerasa cemas dan membiarkan suaminya untuk menjaga anaknya. Berdasarkan uraiantersebut pasien didiagnosis dengan gangguan hipokondrik dan diterapi denganpsikoterapi dan farmakoterapi.

Abstract

The problem of disposable diaper waste is a serious problem that challenges the environment. Therefore, researchers are trying to use diaper waste in agriculture. Literature studies have been carried out as a form of scientific articles. The aim of this literature review are determine the absorption ability of Super Absorbent Polymers (SAP) on the effect of pH, temperature, salinity and soil moisture with the addition of Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP). This study was expected to increase knowledge about Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) and its application related to the agricultural sector. From the results of the literature study, it was concluded that the swelling ability of the SAP reached the optimum conditions at pH 6.5 and 9, while the influence of temperature on the swelling ability of the SAP occurred at temperatures of 25oC, 50oC and 75oC. Swelling capacity conditions using saline solution showed a decrease in swelling capacity as the concentration of the salt solution increased. Soil moisture by adding super absorbent polymer showed significant results, which was 3 times higher than without SAP, i.e. moisture could last up to 18 days from the first day of watering but not for all types of plants.

Abstract

Karsinoma tiroid merupakan kanker endokrin pada kelenjar tiroid dengan jumlah kasus yang tinggi di Indonesia. Beberapa penelitian menemukan bahwa usia dan jenis kelamin memengaruhi prognosis dari karsinoma tiroid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara usia dan jenis kelamin terhadap tipe histopatologi karsinoma tiroid. Dalam penelitian ini sampel diambil dari hasil pemeriksaan histopatologi dengan diagnosis karsinoma tiroid yang dilakukan di Laboratorium Patologi Anatomi Rumah Sakit Daerah Mangusada sejak 1 Januari 2022 hingga 31 Desember 2023. Uji statistik digunakan untuk menilai hubungan antara usia dan jenis kelamin terhadap tipe histopatologi karsinoma tiroid. Terdapat 33 pasien dengan diagnosis karsinoma tiroid di RSD Mangusada sejak tahun 2022 – 2023 dengan jumlah tertinggi terjadi pada usia 40 – 49 tahun sebanyak 12 pasien (36,4%). Kasus didominasi oleh perempuan sebanyak 27 pasien (81,8%) dengan rasio laki – laki dan perempuan 1:4,5. Papillary thyroid carcinoma merupakan tipe terbanyak yaitu 32 pasien (97%) diikuti dengan follicular thyroid carcinoma sebanyak 1 pasien (3%). Baik usia dan jenis kelamin tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan terhadap tipe histopatologi karsinoma tiroid (p > 0,05). Kata Kunci: usia, jenis kelamin, tipe histopatologi karsinoma tiroid

Abstract

Auditor independence is an issue that causes the change of auditors (auditor switching) or Public Accounting Firm. One suggestion that auditors remain objective in carrying out auditing tasks is the mandatory rotation of auditors. Rotation of auditors is associated with the company's actions to make the turn auditor (auditor switching) or Public Accounting Firm. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of corporate social responsibility, the auditor's opinion, financial distress and accounting firm size on auditor switching. This study uses data on real estate and property companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2008-2012 period. The samples in this study using purposive sampling method, the number of observations of a sample of 90 studies. The technique of data analysis is logistic regression analysis, because the dependent variable using dummy variable. Based on the results of analysis show that the variables of corporate social responsibility, the auditor's opinion and financial distress does not significantly influence the auditor switching. While accounting firm size variable is negative and significant effect on switching auditors.

Abstract

Irrational or deviant thinking is a cognitive condition characterized by distortion in perception and reasoning. Such cognitive distortions are often reflected in an individual's speech and writing. Detecting distorted thinking at an early stage is crucial, as it can help mitigate the risk of severe depression. Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is one of the most widely studied approaches in psychotherapy research for depression. It has been recognized as an effective method for addressing cognitive distortions, depression, and negative thought patterns. Recent advancements in online CBT, particularly those incorporating Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, have significantly improved the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive distortions. Numerous studies have explored detecting and classifying cognitive distortions using machine learning models. Cognitive distortion detection is a form of short-text classification that presents a notable challenge – the limited availability of features that effectively capture a text's meaning or intent. Despite these challenges, BERT remains a consistently effective model across various text classification tasks. This study proposes a novel model for detecting cognitive distortions by introducing a new approach that combines sentence-level features from IndoBERT with keyword features derived from the class-based TF-IDF framework. The integration of these two feature sets demonstrated promising results, achieving an average accuracy of 0.787 and an F1 score of 0.769. These values represent improvements of 3.39% and 3.45%, respectively, compared to the IndoBERT-based detection model only. These findings highlight the potential of the proposed model as a valuable early detection tool to support online CBT programs.
