Abstract

Abstract:.Darmo Hospital Surabaya is the one of biggest hospital at Surabaya City. So many visitors visit this hospital every day. Some visitors come to this hospital to visit their families or friends that are treated at this hospital. Some others visitor come to this hospital to do medical check up or visit some hospital service there. Visitors don’t know or don’t remember where is the right room where their families or friends stay, also don’t know or don’t remember where is the hospital service location’s. They must ask that to the security or the information departement there every time they search the different room. This problems need to solved by one application that can give the room location information quickly, self-service and true. Keywords: Application Design, Mapping, Hospital Service.

Abstract

In the field of the food or beverage industry, particularly in the beverage industry, a tool is needed to measure the contents of the bottle volume which is useful to supervise the process of bottle filling so that the contents of the bottle is not less or no more than the company limit. Rule-based expert systems can be used to calculate the estimated volume contents of a bottle by giving facts to the bottle and the fact of the bottle tolerance. From these facts will be calculated the estimated volume of the image to be tested and determine whether the image is included in the company standard or not. The chain code method can also be used in a wide screening process that serves to filter unwanted pixels for the purpose of searching the region over the bottle and surface area of the bottle contents. Testing the threshold value of the chain code is performed to find the most optimal threshold value for widespread filtering. Based on the results of testing the most optimal threshold value is 200 and 300 with 100% accuracy and 0.89 milliliter accuracy.Pada bidang industri makanan atau minuman, khususnya pada industri minuman dibutuhkan alat untuk mengukur isi volume botol yang berguna untuk mengatasi masalah dalam pengisian botol sehingga isi botol tidak kurang atau tidak lebih dari batas perusahaan. Sistem pakar berbasis aturan dapat digunakan dalam menghitung perkiraan isi volume suatu botol dengan memberi fakta berupa citra botol berisi volume neto dan fakta berupa citra botol berisi volume toleransi. Dari fakta-fakta tersebut akan dihitung perkiraan volume dari citra yang akan diuji dan menentukan apakah citra tersebut masuk dalam standar perusahaan atau tidak. Metode kode rantai juga dapat digunakan dalam proses penyaringan luas yang berfungsi menyaring piksel-piksel yang tidak diinginkan  untuk keperluan proses pencarian wilayah atas botol dan wilayah permukaan isi botol. Pengujian nilai threshold luas area kode rantai dilakukan untuk mencari nilai threshold paling optimal untuk penyaringan luas. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian nilai threshold paling optimal adalah 200 dan 300 dengan akurasi 100% dan tingkat ketelitian 0,89 mililiter.

Abstract

Thalassemia is an inherited blood disease which lacks hemoglobin, the protein that is carrying oxygen to the body. The severe one is called Thalassemia Major which needs special care about blood transfusion. The use of rule-based method to create an inference as the first diagnosis of Thalassemia Major is not effective as rules have to be achieved from long interview with the medical personnel. This research aims to create a model based on decision tree for first detection of Thalassemia Major. The dataset is obtained by interview of Thalassemia symptoms and primary data of medical records from a hospital. Classical decision tree models used are ID3, C4.5 and CART. The models are evaluated by Train-Test Split consists of 70% training and 30% testing data and k-Fold Validation for checking model’s overfitting or underfitting. The output of this research is a final tree model from the best performance of decision tree models. The final result shows that C4.5 has the best performance with accuracy 100% and not overfitting or underfitting. Also, C4.5 performs feature selections to its tree modeling to simplify the inference. In brief, decision tree based modeling is effective to be used as first detection of Thalassemia Major by interview symptoms with generating automatic rules from its tree model.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the concept of Abraham's faith and sacrifice from the perspective of Christian faith through the dialogue between Abraham and other characters in the film His Only Son. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach with Mikhail Bakhtin's dialogical semiotic analysis. The results of the study show that the use of Bakhtin's dialogical analysis in this film enriches the narrative by presenting various emotional and intellectual perspectives through polyphony, heteroglossia, and carnivalesque that display the complexity of dialogue between characters and deepen the understanding of internal and external conflicts. Sacrificing Isaac (his son) in His Only Son shows a significant shift in power by transcending traditional fatherly authority to obey God's command. It shows Abraham's true faith and full trust in God. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tentang konsep iman dan pengorbanan Abraham dari perspektif iman Kristen melalui dialog antara Abraham dengan karakter-karakter lain yang ada di dalam film His Only Son. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif dengan analisis semiotika dialogis Mikhail Bakhtin. Hasil analisis menunjukkan penggunaan analisis dialogis Bakhtin dalam film ini memperkaya narasi dengan menghadirkan beragam perspektif emosional dan intelektual melalui polifoni, heteroglossia, dan carnivalesque yang menampilkan kompleksitas dialog antar karakter serta memperdalam pemahaman tentang konflik internal maupun eksternal. Tindakan mengorbankan Ishak (anaknya) dalam film His Only Son menunjukkan pergeseran kekuasaan yang signifikan dengan melampaui otoritas tradisional kebapakan untuk taat pada perintah Tuhan. Hal tersebut menunjukkan iman sejati dan kepercayaan penuh Abraham pada Tuhan.

Abstract

Kelompok yang terpinggirkan sering kehilangan suara autentik dalam struktur kekuasaan dominan. Isu ini relevan dalam memahami representasi, kekuasaan, dan ketimpangan dalam berbagai konteks sosial, politik, dan budaya. Artikel ini berupaya untuk mengeksplorasi kompleksitas representasi dan identitas tokoh Ester melalui perspektif subaltern dan teologi pembebasan. Secara kritis meneliti pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak, “Dapatkan subaltern berbicara?” dengan menganalisis identitas ganda Ester sebagai subaltern dan non-subaltern.  Menggunakan analisis tekstual, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperdalam pemahaman tentang bagaimana narasi tentang Ester menantang gagasan tradisional tentang kekuasaan, agensi, dan representasi. Hasil analisis menemukan bahwa suara Ester hanya dapat didengar ketika posisi Ester selaras secara status sosial dengan struktur otoritas yang dominan dalam konteks sosial-politik dalam pemerintahan.

Abstract

Abstract. The concept of evil and the fall of man remains a fascinating topic as it illustrates moral complexity, freedom of choice, and its impact on civilization and man's relationship with transcendent values. This article aims to analysis the concept of Manichaean dualism and measure it against the concept of the fall of man, according to John Calvin. This research uses a literature study method. The analysis results show that Manichaean dualism is eclectic and syncretic in different contexts by combining elements from various religious traditions. In contrast, Calvin's thought is very focused on reinterpreting the Christian tradition and emphasizing the authority of the Bible. For Calvin, the concept of dualism is very erroneous and unbiblical; the fall of man and evil should be understood through the doctrine of Adam and Eve's original sin, which resulted in the fall of man into sin because of their disobedience to God.Abstrak. Konsep kejahatan dan kejatuhan manusia tetap menjadi topik yang menarik karena menggambarkan kompleksitas moral, kebebasan pilihan, dan dampaknya terhadap peradaban serta hubungan manusia dengan nilai-nilai transenden. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep dualisme Manichaean dan mengukurnya dengan konsep kejatuhan manusia menurut John Calvin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dualisme Manichaean bersifat eklektik dan sinkretik dalam konteks yang berbeda dengan menggabungkan elemen-elemen dari berbagai tradisi agama. Sebaliknya, pemikiran Calvin sangat fokus pada penafsiran atas tradisi Kristen dan menekankan otoritas Alkitab. Bagi Calvin, konsep dualisme sangat keliru dan tidak alkitabiah. Kejatuhan manusia dan kejahatan harus dipahami melalui doktrin dosa asal Adam dan Hawa, yang mengakibatkan kejatuhan manusia ke dalam dosa karena ketidaktaatan mereka kepada Tuhan.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the stunting rate has reached 36%, significantly higher than the World Health Organization's (WHO) standard of 20%. This high prevalence underscores the urgent need for effective early detection methods. Traditional data mining approaches for stunting detection have primarily focused on unimodal data, either tabular or image data alone, limiting the comprehensiveness and accuracy of the detection models. Modality-based modeling, which integrates image and tabular data, can provide a more holistic view and improve detection accuracy. This research aims to analyze modality-based modeling for the early detection of stunting. Two modalities, unimodal and multimodal, are used in this study. The main contributions of this research are the development of a comprehensive framework for modality-based analysis, the application of advanced data preprocessing techniques, and the comparison of various machine learning algorithms to identify the best model for stunting detection. The dataset, comprising images and tabular data, is sourced from Posyandu in Sidoarjo, Indonesia. Image data undergoes preprocessing, including background segmentation and feature extraction using the Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM), while tabular data is processed through categorical encoding. The Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) addresses class imbalance, and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is used for dimensionality reduction. Unimodal modeling uses tabular or image data alone, while multimodal modeling combines both before classification. The study achieves the best F1 scores of 0.96, 0.91, and 0.90 for tabular-only, image-only, and image-tabular modalities, respectively, demonstrating the effectiveness of data balancing and dimensionality reduction techniques.

Abstract

Oral and dental health are indicators of overall body health. Several factors contribute to dental and oral diseases, such as smoking, alcohol consumption, and excessive intake of sugary foods. Untreated dental diseases can lead to dental and oral infections. These infections may cause various complications, making proper treatment essential. This study aims to develop a classification model for dental and oral infections to assist in early diagnosis. The methods used in this research are tree-based algorithms, including Decision Tree, Random Forest, and XGBoost. Tree-based methods are among the algorithms suitable for categorical input data. The classification results using these methods achieved accuracies of 87.5%, 91.7% and 93.1% without SMOTE and 88.9%, 93.1% and 97.2%.. with SMOTE for handling class imbalance. The best-performing model in this study is XGBoost with SMOTE-applied training data.
