Abstract

The problem of malnutrition is a major health problem and is a cause of maternal and child mortality . Infant and maternal mortality and infant with low birth weight (LBW) is specified by maternal nutritional status during pregnancy . Pregnant women who experience chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) or MUAC < 23.5 cm more likely to deliver low birth weight babies, which is marked with a birth weight less than 2,500 grams. Pregnant women at high risk for iron deficiency anemia due to iron requirements increase during pregnancy. The low compliance in pregnant women taking iron tablets cause the high iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women.This research is explanative, with a retrospective cohort design, conducted in March-April 2014 in the UPT Puskesmas Gondosari. Amount equal to the total sample population is 42 people.Pregnant women who drink wayward iron tablets there are 22 people ( 52.4 % ) and the nutritional status of SEZ as many as 20 people (47.6 %) . Birth weight LBW infants have 2 babies (4.76 %). There is a relationship adherence with iron tablets weight babies born with p = 0.011. There is a relationship between the nutritional status of pregnant women with birth weight infants with p =0.001.

Abstract

In sports, coffee began to be consumed often before exercise to improve the performance of exercise and inhibits the occurrence of fatigue.  This study aims to prove the benefits of coffee on muscle strength and muscle endurance at the adolescent football athletes in the Football School PERSISAC of  Semarang City. This study is experimental study with randomized posttest control group design approach.The Total sample of 24 respondents were divided into two groups. Each group consisted of 12 respondents. The first group is the treatment group and the second group is the control group. The treatment group is given by cofee drink with the concentration 2 gr/150 ml. The sample is taken by using the random sampling methode. Data test muscle strength and muscle endurance tests obtained by measuring the push-ups and sit-ups in one minute, after the exercise was finished. The statistical test used was the Independent Samples T test. There are a differences results of tests of muscle strength and muscle endurance between the treatment group and control group. There are the effectsignificantly of giving coffee on muscle strength and muscle endurance.  There are a difference significantly of muscle strength between the treatment groups and the control group (p= 0.00). There are a difference significantly of muscle endurance between the treatment groups and the control group (p= 0.01). There is the effect of coffee on muscle strength and muscle endurance in adolescencesoccer athletes. It is advisable to consume coffee by the dose of 2 g / 150 ml immediately before exercise to review increasing muscle strength and muscle endurance athlete football.Keywords: Coffee, Muscle strength, Muscle endurance, Athletes, Footbal.

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is mother's milk given to babies up to 6 months old babies without food and drink, except drugs and vitamins. The provision of ASI in Indonesia has not been fully implemented. Efforts to improve breastfeeding behavior in mothers who have babies,especially exclusive breastfeeding, are still considered lacking. One of the things that inhibits exclusive breastfeeding is often experienced by working mothers, including insufficient knowledge and conditions for working mothers. Workers must milk breast milk during working hours if they want to give breast milk exclusively. Stored breast milk must pay attention to the temperature level and duration of storage so that the baby is safely consumed. Cooler bags are an alternative to storing breast milk if there is no refrigerator at the place where the mother works. The purpose of this study was to find out the total bacterial identification and acidity ofstored breast milk in a cooler bag. This type of research is a description with cross sectional design. The population in this study were working mothers who provided breastfeeding through breast milk. The sample in this study was breast milk from the Worker's Mother. The results were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the treatment of slow freezing time had a significant effect on the total bacteria contained in breast milk with the result that the total bacteria in fresh breast milk showed a greater amount compared to breast milk stored in the cooler bag and pasteurized. The treatment of slow freezing time has a significant effect on the acidity of breast milk with the result that on day 0, fresh breast milk shows that the average range of breast milk pH ranges from pH 7.1 to 7.5 while on day 1 fresh milk showed that the average pH range of breast milk ranged from pH 5.5 to 6.6. ASI stored in cooler bags on day 0 the average pHrange of breast milk ranged from pH 5.5 to 5.9, whereas on day 1 the average pH range of breast milk ranged from pH 5.9 to 6.6 . Whereas in breast milk pasteurized on day 0 the average range of breast milk pH ranged from pH 7.1 to 7.7, whereas on day 1 the average pH range ofASI ranged from pH 5.9 to 6.7.Keywords: stored breast milk, total bacteri, pH

Abstract

The risk chronic energy deficiency of pregnant can occur after miscarriage, premature birth, birth defects, low birth weight babies and even infant mortality. Pregnant women, physical growth (stunting), brain and growth that causes non-communicable diseases in adulthood. Nutrition intervention strategies for chronic energy deficiency of pregnant. Food choice categories, counseling, education, cooperation and coordination withhealth workers and related sector workers. The form of supplementary food for chronic energy deficiency of pregnant can consist of local food or manufacturers and nutrient-dense drinks. Sandwich purpose towardsnutritional status for chronic energy deficiency of pregnant at Bantarbolang Health Center, Pemalang Regency. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with one group pre and posttest design. The research sample was 29 trimester chronic energy deficiency of pregnant as many as 29 pregnant women who were measured for Upper Arm Circumference (LiLA) before and after the provision of assistance, namely giving extra biscuit sandwiches for 3 months (90 days). Furthermore, LiLA measurements are carried out every month,30 days, 60 days, 90 days after supplementary feeding  biscuit sandwiches. The independent variable is PMT biscuit sandwich and the independent variable is nutritional status of chronic energy deficiency of pregnant.The statistical test used was the Wilcoxon test. The results of univariate analysis, the average LiLA before providing sandwich biscuits were 21,879 cm ± 1,286 cm and the average LiLA given PMT was 22.4 cm ± 1.31 cm. Statistical test results obtained from the addition of sandwich sandwiches with increased nutritional status (LiLA) of chronic energy deficiency of pregnant (p = 0,000). Giving extra sandwich biscuits further increases the nutritional status of chronic energydeficiency of pregnant. Abstract

Olahraga merupakan tindakan fisik untuk meningkatkan kesehatan atau memperbaiki deformitas fisikal. Latihan olahraga tidak hanya penting untuk mempertahankan dan menjaga efektifitas denyut nadi yang seimbang tetapi juga kesehatan mental. Efektifitas deyut nadi adalah kemampuan nadi, pembuluh darah, paru-paru, dan otot untuk bekerja secara efisien dan optimal.Minuman olahraga (minuman isotonik) adalah minuman yang di dalamnya terdiri dari air, zat gizi, dan zat terlarut untuk mendukung ergogenic. Dibandingkan dengan air biasa, minuman yang mengandung karbohidrat dan garam (elektrolit) dapat meningkatkan kinerja ketika dikonsumsi sebelum atau selama exercise dengan intensitas tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh minuman isotonik terhadap efektifitas denyut nadi terhadap kinerja jantung pada atlet saat melakukan respirasi. Desain penelitian eksperimental mnggunakan randomized pretest posttest control group design dengan satu kelompok kontrol. Kelompok kontrol mengkonsumsi air mineral,sedangkan kelompok perlakuan mengkonsumsi minuman isotonik. Setelah itu, atlet diukur intensitas denyut nadinya, sebanyak 3 kali,masing selama 1 menit. Pengukuran denyut nadi dilakukan sebelum latihan, sesaat detelah latihan selama 60-90 menit dan setelah jedah 10 menit dari selesai latihan. Analisis data dengan menggunakan uji man-whitney. Tidak terdapat pengaruh pemberian minuman isotonic terhadap denyut nadi atlet, baik sebelum latihan, sesaat setelah latihan, dan jedah 10 menit setelah latihan (p>0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah konsumsi minuman isotonik tidak dapat meningkatkan efektifitas denyut nadi atlet. Kata Kunci: Denyut Nadi, Minuman Isotonik, Atlet sepak bola, remaja.

Abstract

Mother Mortality Rate 2003 in Indonesia is still high which is 307/100.000 live birth. The main cause of maternal death inter alia postpartum bleeding, eklampsi, infection diseases, and placenta previa, which all of it have a source from iron deficiency anemia. The cohort register of pregnant mother at Public Health Service Moyudan state that the pregnant mother number 2007 is 377 person and 180 (47,75%) of pregnant mother experiences anemia and based on the introduction study it had found that 4 out of 5 pregnant mother did not have good knowledge about anemia.The Objective is To know the correlation of knowledge level about anemia with the anemia case on pregnant mother in Public Health Service Moyudan Sleman Yogyakarta number 2009. The Method is analytical descriptive research with cross-sectional method. The sample was taken by using accidental sampling technique of 42 persons. The data aboutcharacteristics and knowledge of pregnant mother were obtained from questionnaire, and Hb level data of pregnant mother was obtained from pregnant mother cohort register. It uses chi square analysis to know the correlation between knowledge level of anemia case with anemiacase. Most of respondents (90,5%) are health include in reproductive age (20-35 years old) is 90,5%, the respondents of high school education level (SMA, SMK/equal level) are 61,9% and unemployed pregnant mothers are 59,5%. Percentage the knowledge level of respondentsabout anemia is equal between good and bad category which is 50% and the experience anemia of pregnant mother is 64,3%. The results of chi square analysis is p value 0,000 < 0,05 (p < α) with contingency coefficient rate of 0,480. There is middle level correlation between the knowledge level about anemia with anemia cases on pregnant mothers at Public Health Service Moyudan Sleman YogyakartaKeyword : Knowledge level, pregnant mother, anemia

Abstract

In adolescents often the intake of nutrients is not sufficient, especially at breakfast, because of intense physical activity, the unavailability of food ingredients and the desire to get an ideal body. Breakfast is expected to meet the needs of macro nutrients in energy, protein, fat and carbohydrates. Availability of breakfast in the morning is important for the first hour of activity. The aim of the study was to determine the contribution of energy, protein, fat, and carbohydrates.This type of research is descriptive research. A sample of 67 students in the Islamic boarding school of KH. Sahlan Rosjidi Unimus that fits the criteria. Respondent samples were taken randomly from a total number of 201 students. The data collection tool uses the form in the form of a 24-hour recall. Data analysis is done univariately.The results showed, the average energy intake was 312.55 ± 145.57 kcal. The average contribution of energy samples was 47.98 ± 21.67% with categories less than needed. The average protein intake was 14.60 ± 10.03 g, and the average protein contribution was 86,862 ± 57.71% with a category less than the need. The average fat intake was 14.44 ± 7.91g, the average fat contribution was 66.26 ± 35.94% with a category less than the need. The average carbohydrate intake was 53.72 ± 36.93 g, the average carbohydrate contribution was 60.94 ± 42.42% with a category less than needed. Breakfast is recommended at 06.00-08.00 and meets 15-30%.It is recommended to students in the KH. Sahlan Rosjidi Unimus in order to have breakfast in the morning to fulfill his nutritional needs in the morning.  Keywords: Breakfast, students, Macro Nutrition Contribution
