Abstract

Fat deposits in the abdominal cavity that is known to be technically able to see thevalue of the waist circumference to hip circumference or better known as the waist -hip circumference ratio ( RLPP ). Waist hip circumference ratio values that reflect how many high fat deposits in the abdominal cavity. Consumption of fatty foods can increase hip and waist circumference weight. Decline in physical activity is also related to increased waist circumference. The general aim of this study is the relationship of food resource consumption of fats, carbohydrates and physical activity with waist belt circumference ratio ( RLPP ) at teamster PO AGM Kudus.  Type Explanatory research is research with cross- shopping approach ( crossectional ). Total sample of 30 teamsters PO. AGM. Not possible extraction of samples for all units studied population. Normality test data using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test processed using a computer program SPSS version 18.0.  Test used is the Spearman Rank Test. The results showed that 53.3 % of respondents age 36-45 years, 56.7 % high school education/MA, 70 % fat consumption level more categories, 53.3 % carbohydrate consumption level of good category, 63.3 % physical activity categories are, and a 90 % ratio of waist circumference risk of hip degenerative disease category.   Conclusion that there is relationship between fat consumption level with waist hip circumference ratio ( p-value = 0,004 ), there was no relationship between the level of carbohydrate consumption with waist hip circumference ratio ( p-value = 0,326 ), and thereis no relationship between physical activity with the rate at Waist belt circumference ( p-value = 0,064 ). The teamster to eat a balanced diet, especially foods that contain energy and carbohydrate source, source of protein, fat source, and the source of other micronutrients needed enough. This is to support the teamster physical activity and prevent the risk of degenerative diseases.Key word : fat intake, carbohidrat intake, physical activity, waist circumference to hip circumference

Abstract

Anemia is a lack of blood diseases are mostly caused by the consumption of food, thats less of iron. Lack of iron consumption in Indonesia caused by the people consume more plant foods that are less of iron, more less than the animal foods that are high of iron, The condition is very risky tothe occurrence of anemia. The protein consumpsion of Indonesian community are still low. The condition will increase the risk of occurence of anemia.The general objective of this study was to determine the relationship between contribute a side dish of animal, vegetable and vegetable with protein and iron consumption levels of the student who lives in Rusunawa Residence 1 UNIMUS.This research is explanatory research design with cross sectional approach. The number of sample is 52 students who are living in Rusunawa Residence 1 UNIMUS. The sample was put bythe simple random sampling tehnique. The bivariate statistical analysis was done by the Pearson correlation test.The results show that the average of contribution of protein animal dishes was 12.68% of AKG and the average of iron was 4.62% of AKG, The average of contribution of protein vegetableside dishes was 36.92% of AKG and the average iron was 40.76% of AKG. The average of protein vegetable contribution was 4.82% of AKG and iron was 6.36% of AKG. There are 29 student (55,8 %) who consume protein under 100% of AKG and there are 48 student (92,3 %) who consume iron under 100% of AKG.Conclusion : There is no relationship between the contribution of protein and iron animal side dish with the protein and iron consumption level. There is a correlation between thecontribution of protein and iron vegetable side dish with the protein and iron consumption levels.Keywords: The Contributions of Side Animal, plant and Vegetables. , The Protein and Iron Consumption Level.

Abstract

Chronic renal failure or end-stage renal disease is a progressive destruction of kidney structure and continuously. Renal function that can not be recovered where the body's ability to maintain metabolic balance, and fluid electrolyte failure, which led to uremia (Elizabeth, 2009). The purpose of this study was to determine the "Relationship with Protein Intake Levels of urea, creatinine and Hb Levels in Patients with Chronic Renal Failure in the Outpatient Hemodialysis Tugurejo Hospital Semarang" This type of research is Clinical Nutrition descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. Population in this study were all out patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis at Tugurejo Hospital, Semarang. The research was done at June-July 2013. the criteria of patient are had urea levels> 40 g / dl and creatinine levels > 1.3 g /dl, able to communicate, aged 17 years old and above, we gained the sample as many as 35 pasient.  To collecting the data, we used interview  with food frequency tools. To test the correlation between protein intake and levels of urea, creatinin, blood hemoglobin level, we  used the Rank Spearman test and  to tested  the normality of data we used the kolmogorov-smirnov test The results showed that there are 21 (60,0%)  patients with kidney failure are  male  more than female. The  aged of 41-60 years old are  17 pasient  (48.6%), pasient with  normal nutritional status are 17 people (48.6%).  The average of protein intake is 80,02 gram per day. All of patient (100%) have  blood urea levels over than the normal level. and the blood creatinine levels likewise all of patient ,  men (20 patient) and  women (14 patient) have blood Hb level  in the category entirely lacking. Statistical test result showed that there are  a corelation between protein intake with the levels of urea (p value 0,019 <0,05),  protein intake with the level of  kreatinin (p value 0,044<0,05), and protein intake with the Hb levels (p value 0,024< 0,05)

Abstract

The toddler years are the first five-year period in a child's life every human being A golden age is very important , especially physical growth . At this time 90 % of individual brain cells grow and thrive . When the golden age of children neglected , it will be a problem for the toddler, now and in the future.The research is analytical research with Pre - experimental research method and a one- group pre - test post - test design . This study aims are to determine the effect of supplementary feeding on recovery changes in weight BGM worm at the area of Kelambu health center at Grobogan regency . Samples were taken by means of saturation sampling , as the sample of all infants BGM worm.There is a difference in weight before and after the administration of PMT – P (p = 0.000) , there is a correlation between energy intake with changes of body weight (p = 0.000), and there is a correlation between proteins intake with changes of body weight,(p = 0.000).Keywords :PMT-P, changes of baody weight, BGM worm

Abstract

Chronic renal failure is a decline in kidney function is quite heavy going slowly (chronic) caused by kidney disease. Is progresive and generally can not be recovered. Therapy in chronic renal failure including dialysis and kidney transplantation. Dialysis therapy is often done perotonial hemodialysis and dialysis. Hemodialysis is a form of dialysis is performed in end – stage renal disease. Patients chronic renal failure with hemodialysis are given high-protein diet provided 50 % of them have a high biological value that sufficient levels of essential amino acids. Disorders of protein metabolism in chronic renal failure usually leads to decreased levels of Hb, so that thehigh protein diit was made compulsory to the patients with chronic renal failure with hemodialysis treatment. The general objective is reviewing image with high levels of Hb protein intake in patients chronicrenal failure with hemodialysis in the inpatient hospital PKU Muhammadiyahyogyakarta. While the goal is to describe the particular characteristics and describing the protein intake, describing the Hb levels, and decribing  the protein intake with Hb levels of patients with chronic renal hemodialysis. Types of data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data through interviews with patients and their families include medical history, eating habits at homeand food intake during hospitalization. To find their food intake using the recall, while the secondary data through patient medical records. The results shows the characteristic of patients cronic renal failure with hemodialysis is largely male-sex. The lowest age of them is 46 years and the highest is 70 years. The average of protein intake is adequate (34 – 44 gr/days), while the big part of them have Hb levels from 7 to9.9 mg/dl.Keywords : protein, Hb, renal chronic failure, haemodialysis

Abstract

Hypertension is called the silent killer is a disease prevalent in society is characterized by sistolic blood pressure ? 140 mmHg and diastolic ? 90 mm Hg. The fiber is called "roughage," helpskeep your body stay organized. Low fiber intake ? 8.8 g / day increased C-Reactive Protein (CRP) 4kali higher in adults with two or three risk of disease (obesity, hypertension, diabetes). This study determine the relationship of dietary fiber intake and nutritional status with blood pressure in hypertensive patients hospitalized in the Hospital Tugurejo Semarang. Methods: reaserch explanatory research with cross sectional approach. The population of all patients presenting to the hospital in May 2014, samples taken as many as 26 people with purposive sampling technique.Univariate analysis performed to present the frequency distribution table. Bivariate analysis begins with Shapiro-Wilks normality test and continued with correlation of Rank-Spearman. Most (34.6%) samples were aged 51-60 years, and most (65.4%) were female, most ( 69.2%) intake of fiber <20 grams,. For fiber intake of the average patient lack of demand (20 grams), the majority (46.2%) had a better nutritional status with BMI> 25 experienced by as many as 18 respondents (69.2%), the majority (61.5% ) had a systolic blood pressure of 140-159 mmHg, most (46.2%) had blood pressure of 90-99 mmHg. Statistical analysis showed that there was a negative association between dietary fiber intake with systolic blood pressure (p = 0.001 <0.005), there was no association between dietary fiber intake with diastolic blood pressure (p = 0.374> 0.05). ), There is a relationship between nutritional status and systolic blood pressure (p = 0.033 <0.05). ), And there is no relationship between nutritional status and diastolic blood pressure (p = 0.842> 0.05). Lower fiber intake will increase systolic blood pressure. The nutritional status related to blood pressure, the more the higher the nutritional status of blood pressure. Diastolic blood pressurewas not associated with the level of konsusmi fiber and nutritional status.Keywords: Fiber intake, nutritional status, Blood Pressure, Hypertension Patients.

Abstract

Background : One of the success of food serving at the hospital is patient satisfaction. Lower patient satisfaction has an influence on how patient will be eat and left the food. The object of the study is to know the correlation of patient satisfaction factors and food waste at Arafah Islamic Hospital Rembang. Method :  This study used observational analytic with an across sectional approach. The population are all patient at Musdalifah room and Dzulkhulaifah room of Arafah Islamic Hospital Rembang with sample criteria, at least 2 days was treated and got a normal and soft food. Thesample of this study are 31 respondents used consecutive sampling. The instruments used are questionnaire and Comstock form. The normality test of the data usedKolmogorof -Smirnov test.The statistical test used is Rank-Spearman test. Results : This study found all of the respondents 100% of exact food time distribution. Most respondents 77, 4 % that said a variation of the food. 48, 8 % said the taste is delicious. All of the respondent (100%) the food equipments are clean and the server is friendly. Most respondents 83, 9% attractive for the served food. Food waste from breakfast : main course 6,5%, animal side dish 3,2%, vegetable side dish 16,5%, vegetables 9,7%. At lunch: main course 6,5%, animal side dish 3,2%, vegetable side dish 12,9%, vegetables19,4%. At dinner:  main course 3,2%, animal side dish 9,7%, vegetable side dish 12,9%, vegetables 9,7%. There is no correlation between menu variationwith food waste but, the relation between animal side dish and food waste at breakfast has a correlation value p=0, 037. There is no correlation between the taste of the food and food waste (p> 0, 05). Abstract

The baby morbidity and mortality in Indonesian is still hight. Based on WHO (2010), about 13 million babies in the wold were death every years and a large part of them happened indeveloping countries. Moreover, based on SDKI (Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey)2010 years, infant mortality rate in Indonesia is 34 per 1000 of life birth and child morbidity rateis 411 per 1000 of child, and which 27.04% are baby and children. Once of the risk factors of the child morbidity is infant formula feeding so that it effects on exclusive breastfeeding. The result of Indonesian research shows that baby who has complementary feeding before 6 months old are more attacked on diarrhea, constipation, cough -cold, and fever than baby who only has exclusive breastfeeding.This research is analytic research with cross sectional approach. The number of sample are 67 babies 6 12 months old who are lived at Sambiroto urban communities, is work area ofKedungmundu Public Health Centers Semarang City. The sampling method is multistage random sampling. Chi-square test is used for statistical analysis to identify the differencebetween exclusive breastfeeding and infant formula on constipation case.The of constipation incident at the babies 6-12 months old who exclusive breastfeeding is zero (0 %) and at the babies 6-12 months old by the formula feeding is 28 babies (96,6 %).There are a difference between exclusive breastfeeding and infant formula feeding, on constipation of babies 6 12 months old at work area of Kedungmundu Public Health Center (pvalue= 0.00 < 0.05).The incident rate of constipation at babies 6-12 months old is significantly lower than the babies who are given a infant formula feedingKey Word: Exclusive Breastfeeding, Infant Formula feeding, Constipation

Abstract

One kind of the nutritional problem at under five years old child in Grobogan districtis is under red line (bawah garis merah/BGM). Under red line is the child who have body weight point thats located at under red line on weighing curve.. The nutritional interventions was done by Tegowanu public health center to reduce the incidence of BGM. That intervention can reducethe percentation of BGM from 2,35% in 2012 to 1,45% in 2013. Thats can reduce the number of BGM at 17 villages from 18 villages coverage by Tegowanu Public Health Centre. The incidence of BGM at one of the villages, is Karangpasar village cannot be reduce yet. The percentation of BGM at Karanganyar Village is still high. That is 8,45 % more hight than the target ofincreasing the number of BGM in Grobogan District, less than 5%. The purpose of the researh is to analysis factors thats related with incident of BGM.The kind of the research is analityc with cross sectional approach and survey method. The research population is families with under five years old child, who live at Karangpasar village. The number of sample are 74 families with under five years old child, 14 BGM and 60 not BGM. Employment status, income level and the level of nutrition knowledge measured by questionnaire while the BGM status of under five years old child was measured by looking at the KMS Chi-square test will be done to analysis the relationship.of variables.The result of this study show there are 14 (81,1%) of under five years old child who BGM. The level of women work participation by respondent is hight (78,4%). The family income level ofthe respondents on average Rp.1.066.000,00 per capita per month Rp.466,391. There is no families with low income. The nutritional knowledge level of the respondents on average 74,54% 17,950% in which 58,1 % mothers have moderate and low nutrition knowledge level. Khai square test results indicated that mother employment status, family income level, and the level of mothers nutritional knowledge related with the incidence of BGM .While the family income level have the strongest relationship.Keyword : Incident of BGM, Under five years old child, mothers employment status, mothers nutritional knowledge level, family income

Abstract

Fat deposits in the abdominal cavity that is known to be technically can be measured by the value of ratio between waist circumference and hip circumference, known as the waist -hip circumference ratio. The value of the  waist hip circumference ratio that reflect how many high fat deposits in the abdominal cavity. Consumption of fatty foods can increase the value of the  waist-hip  circumference ratio and the body weight. Decline in physical activity is also related to increased the  waist circumference. The general aim of this study is to analysis  the relationship of food consumption, resource of fats, carbohydrates and physical activity with the value of  waist-hip circumference ratio at PO AGM Kudus teamster. The typeof the study is an explanatory research with crossectional approach .The study was done at 30 teamster, all the number of PO. AGM teamsters There are no possible extraction of samples. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test will be used to test the normality distribution of the data of fat consumption level, karbohydrat consumption level and the physical activity.. The result of the test showed that all of the data are not normally distribution. Based of the result, we use the Spearman Rank Test to analysis the correlation between fat consumption level, karbohydrat consumption level and the physical activitywith the value of waist-hip circumference ratio. The results showed that 53.3 % of respondents are 36-45 years old , 56.7 % of responden have a high school education, 70 % of responden consume the more categories level of fat, 53.3 % of responden consume the good categorylevel of carbohydrat, 63.3 % of responden have a median category level of  physical activity, and  90 % of res ponden have a value of waist-hip  circumference ratio on risk of degenerative disease. There is relationship between fat consumption level with waist hip circumference ratio ( p-value = 0,004 ), no relationship between the level of carbohydrate consumption with waist hip circumference ratio ( p-value = 0,326 ), and no relationship between physical activity with the rate at Waist belt circumference ( p-value = 0,064 ). Conclution : The waist-hip circumference related with the level of fat consumption,but not related with the level of carbohydrate consumption and physical activity.  Good as possible  the teamsters  eat a balanced diet, that’s sufficientof  energy,  carbohydrate, protein, fat, and the other micronutrients contai. to support the teamster physical activity and prevent the risk of degenerative diseases
