Abstract

Advances in technology and the internet have not only given rise to new media but have become a human need to interact and socialize, one of which is communication technology innovation in the form of social media. With social media that can be accessed by the wider community, people in villages and cities also get the same information about education, technology, knowledge and so on. The development of the use of social media as a means of communication is increasingly rapid after the internet can be accessed via cell phones, even now people can access it anytime, anywhere using a smartphone or the term gadget has emerged which makes it easier for people to access it anywhere and anytime without any time limits. Good communication ethics in consuming social media and in accordance with Islamic teachings are not to use harsh words, pornography, or "SAR" issues and do not post false articles or statuses, which will later cause conflict, and do not post articles or statuses that are not true. or images that are copyrighted. There are many theories that explain the ethics of using social media, namely being able to use correct language, be polite, not insult people and not engage in body shaming. The aim of this research is to determine communication ethics in netizen comments on the live content of the fake diploma trial continuing with Rocky Gerung becoming an expert witness on Refly Harun's Youtube and Refly Harun's content smelling of intimidation regarding the lawsuit for postponing the 2024 Election on Youtube tvOneNews. The theory used is communication ethics with Cyber ​​Media Analysis (AMS). The method in this research is a qualitative virtual ethnographic approach. The results and conclusions of this research are the essence of communication ethics in netizen comments on YouTube, namely as a process in conveying messages from the communicator to the communicant with intent and meaning. This means that in conveying the message there needs to be ethics or rules. This is so that the communication message to be conveyed has the same meaning for both the communicator and the communicant. YouTube Refly Harun and tvOneNews, namely the existence of video content which of course has informative benefits and goodness. Abstract

Korean Wave merupakan sebuah budaya yang berasal dari Korea Selatan dan istilah yang diberikan persebaran budaya pop Korea Selatan secara global di seluruh dunia, tanpa terkecuali Indonesia. Fenomena yang kemudian terjadi yakni merebaknya fans K-Pop, baik fangirl maupun fanboy yang membentuk sebuah fandom. Penggemar juga melakukan banyak hal untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya sebagai seorang penggemar terhadap apa yang digemari. Misalnya mendengar, menonton, mencari informasi, ataupun membaca terkait tentang apa yang di gemari. Salah satu contoh karya yang saat ini merebak di kalangan fans K-Pop terutama fangirl adalah Alternative Universe. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan mengenai motif dan tipe fangirl penggemar Alternative Universe di twitter. Setiap penggemar AU di twitter, memiliki motif-motif tertentu yang menjadi alasan sebab dan tujuan seseorang untuk bertindak. Dalam penelitian ini, penelti menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi milik Alfred Schutz. Teori milik Alfred Schutz ini menggolongkan motif menjadi dua yaitu : 1) Motif Sebab (Because of Motive) yang merujuk pada pengalaman masa lalu seseorang yang menjadi pendorong seseorang melakukan sesuatu, dan 2) Motif Tujuan (In Order to Motive) yang merujuk pada harapan di masa mendatang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Motif Sebab terdapat tiga motif yang menjadi alasan yaitu motif aktivitas konsumsi penggemar, dimana sebagai fangirl K-Pop, informan menggemari AU untuk memenuhi kepuasan dan kebutuhannya sebagai penggemar. Motif hobi, menggemari AU sudah menjadi hobi informan dalam mengisi waktu luangnya, dan motif pengalaman baru. Berdasarkan Motif Tujuan terdapat tiga motif yang menjadi tujuan yaitu motif mendapatkan hiburan, karena AU sendiri memiliki banyak ragam genre dan cerita menarik yang dapat menghibur informan. Motif menambah wawasan, selain menghibur AU juga menjadi media edukasi bagi informan seperti menambah perbendaharaan kata dan sebagainya. Alasan ketiga, motif meningkatkan kreativitas. Terkait tipe penggemar, terdapat dua tipe yaitu penggemar pasif, dimana penggemar hanya melakukan konsumsi seperti menonton, mendengar, dan membaca terkait kegemarannya. Selanjutnya penggemar aktif, dimana penggemar juga ikut melakukan produksi atau membuat sebuah karya terkait kegemarannya seperti AU.Kata Kunci: Motif, Tipe, Penggemar, Alternative Universe

Abstract

Public Relations (PR) at the Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo) of Cirebon Regency in the Field of Information and Public Communication (IKP) has an important role in the progress of the development of e-Government services. The Public Relations of the Cirebon Regency Diskominfo is the party that provides materials (data and information) to be published to all people of Cirebon Regency. In addition, it has an important role in efforts to organize public service activities, provide information and communication, restructure relations with the community, foster relationships with other Regional Apparatus, and enable the transformation of society in the digital era. In optimizing the existence of Public Relations of the Cirebon Regency Diskominfo as an extension of the Regional Government, it has the responsibility to ensure that every public service provided is the best service and able to meet the expectations of the people of Cirebon Regency. The method in this study is qualitative as described. Using data sources in this study, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data is the main data collected directly in the field as well as documentation studies. Primary data observation of the Cirebon Regency Communication and Information Office in Digital Public Relations activities through the development of e-Government. Secondary data is supporting data from various written literature related to the research topic. The results of this study outline that the use of websites and social media. The emergency services of the 112 call center and the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology are long-term plans to improve the effectiveness of services. Furthermore, to provide the best experience for all people in Cirebon Regency. The cirebonkab.go.id website is the official website of the Cirebon Regency government one data portal operated by the Public Relations staff for Information and Public Communication. The Public Relations Officer has the task and responsibility of providing materials (data and information) obtained from various Regional Apparatus in Cirebon Regency to be published on the website. Then, coordinate with other fields of work, one of which is the Statistics, Cryptography, and e-Government Sector as parties who have duties and responsibilities in managing service data on the website. Evaluation activities are materials to analyze data on the performance of the services provided and to measure the level of community satisfaction in Cirebon Regency. In addition, it helps in identifying factors that can affect the implementation of service activities, both from internal and external agencies/institutions.

Abstract

The importance of an education is to increase the nation's competitiveness which aims to create social justice. Shows that Indonesia must continue to spur investment in human resources. On this it can be said that education has relevanto investment in human resources. The priority scale in our current education is vocational education. Both the upper secondary level (SMK) and tertiary education such as poly,technics, D3 and D4 Communication in the field of education is a very important element and has a very large role in determining the success of education. The teaching and learning process carried out in the classroom mostly occurs due to communication in the field of education. Thus it can be stated that educational communication can be interpreted as instructional communication. In this study, the population was the students of the Manbaul Ulum Dukuntang Vocational High School, the competence of Visual Communication Design skills. While the sample is DKV Class XI and XII students at the Mamba'ul Ulum Islamic Boarding School. Testing techniques using validity test, reliability test and regression test. Based on statistical tests that measure the effect of the quality of learning media on learning interest, the results show that all of them meet the requirements for carrying out the regression test. The results obtained on the quality of learning communication media in productive lessons in the field of Visual Communication Design expertise which consists of four dimensions, including Material, Presentation Order, Language and Attraction get a value of 4.09 on a scale of 1-5 which means good. The learning interest of students who take part in learning productive subjects by using learning communication media which consists of four dimensions, including Likes, Interest, Attention and Involvement get a score of 3.89 on a scale of 1-5 which means good, the regression test is 0.398 which indicates that the quality learning communication media has an effect of 39.8% on student learning interest.

Abstract

Background. In the contemporary communication landscape, online media has transformed into a central pillar in the dissemination of information and the formation of public opinion. The speed, accessibility, and global reach of digital platforms enable news and information to spread instantly, transcending geographical and temporal constraints. Aims. This study aims to analyze how the local media outlet Rakyat Cirebon framed news coverage of damaged roads in East Cirebon Regency during April 2025. The issue of road infrastructure gained public attention due to its significant impact on residents' daily lives and economic activities. Methods. Using a qualitative approach and the framing analysis model developed by Robert N. Entman, this research explores how the media selects, emphasizes, and structures information to shape particular meanings in its audience's minds. Result. The findings reveal that Rakyat Cirebon consistently framed road damage as a failure of the local government to respond to public needs. The four framing elements—problem definition, causal interpretation, moral evaluation, and treatment recommendation—indicate a strong narrative that criticizes the executive branch while portraying the regional legislature (DPRD) as an active defender of public interests. Visual strategies, including emotive photographs, dramatic language, and selective sourcing, further reinforce the dominant frame presented. Conclusion. This study highlights that media framing is not merely a reflection of social reality, but an active process of constructing that reality through deliberate editorial choices. As such, media outlets hold an ethical responsibility to provide balanced and accurate reporting. Implementation. The findings also underline the importance of media literacy among the public, enabling citizens to engage critically with the narratives constructed by the press. On the other hand, local governments must be more proactive and transparent in addressing public issues in the media.
