Abstract

Kondisi sosial keagamaan masyarakat Islam yang terpuruk serta merajalelanya kebodohan sangat berdampak pada pergeseran nilai-nilai agama yang murni. Munculnya berbagai macam kesyirikan, sihir, bid’ah, tahayul, khurafat dan maksiat membuat kaum muslimin semakin jatuh dalam kegelapan ilmu. Realita seperti inilah yang menjadi motivasi Syaikh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab mencetuskan pemikiran tajdid (pembaharuan) dalam Islam. Tulisan memfokuskan pada pemikiran tajdid Syaikh Muhammad  bin Abdul Wahhab dalam Kitab Al-Ushul Ats-Tsalatsah. Penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan studi penelitian kepustakaan dengan cara mengkaji serta menelaah berbagai data yang berhubungan dengan tajdid Syaikh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab. Kesimpulan yang diperolah dari tulisan ini adalah bahwa pemikiran tajdid Syaikh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab adalah Ruju’ ila al-Kitab wa As-Sunnah (kembali kepada Alquran dan As-Sunnah), yakni menjadikan Alquran dan As-Sunnah sebagai landasan dasar dakwahnya dengan menghilangkan segala keyakinan dan ibadah yang tidak sesuai dengan tuntunan Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam. Ia adalah seorang ulama Ahlussunnah bermazhab fikih Imam Ahmad bin Hambal. Pemikiran tajdid yang dilakukan Syaikh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab bukan hanya berdampak di masyarakat Islam di wilayah Saudi Arabia saja, namun pengaruhnya hampir menjamah ke seluruh negeri-negeri Islam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengangkat isu tradisi membaca nasihat pasca sholat jum’at yang dilakukan oleh jamaah Lembaga Dakwah Islam Indonesia (LDII) di Desa Lambusa Kecamatan Konda Kabupaten Konawe Selatan yang dinilai berbeda dengan jamaah Sholat Jumat pada umumnya. Dalam kajian Ushul Fikih hal ini dibahas pada term ‘urf, salah satu metode istimbath hukum dalam Islam. Berangkat dari sini, penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tinjauan ‘urf terhadap tradisi membaca nasihat pasca sholat jumat.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menjadikan penelitian lapangan sebagai jenis penelitian yang digunakan yang mana peneliti dapat berinteraksi langsung dengan objek penelitian dalam kehidupan sebenarnya. Kemudian untuk pendekatannya menggunakan pendekatan empirik yang memungkinkan peneliti mengnalisis fenomena aktivitas sosial, sikap serta pemikiran orang baik individu maupun kelompok atau kelembagaan sosial - LDII.  Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif, suatu metode yang memiliki ciri khusus dalam mendeskripsikan dan menginterpretasikan objek penelitian berupa kejadian dengan detail, jelas dan lugas.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa tidak semua tradisi masuk dalam kategori ‘urf, terdapat beberapa syarat yang harus dipenuhi sebuah tradisi agar dapat dikatakan sebagai ‘urf. Tadisi membaca nasihat pasca sholat jum’at yang dilakukan oleh jamaah LDII di Desa Lambusa ini dinilai masuk pada kategori “urf shohih yang memiliki maslahat dan tidak bertentangan dengan dalil syara’ selama struktur tadisinya tidak berubah, jika terjadi perubahan sturuktur tadisi dapat pula merubah kuhum.

Abstract

After the death of the Prophet Sallallahu 'alaihi Wasallam, all the problems of Muslims are submitted to the scholars to look up for solutions from texts. The scholars are required to perform ijtihad in order to solve the problems arised by digging into the values of the text of the Qur'an and Hadith, in which the ijtihad will develop into ijtihad bir-ra'yi if the solutions cannot be found in the texts. There have been numerous methods used to deeply explore the laws such as ijma', qiyas, as well as istidlal like Istishab, Maslahah Mursalah, Al-Ihtihsan, Qoulu Shohaby, Syadd ad-Dzaro'i, Dilalah al-Iqtiran, Dilalah al-Ilham, Ru'yan of Prophet Sallallahu ‘alaihi Wasallam, and Syar’u Man Qoblana. All decisions from Allah Ta'ala definitely has the benefit value as it is impossible for Allah Ta'la to make a decision that is in vain. Starting from these values then born the Istimbath which is Maslahah Mursalah law. So, this discussion focuses on the meaning of maslahah mursalah, the background for the birth of the maslahah mursalah method, the division of maslahah mursalah, and the validity of maslahah mursalah as istidlal in ushul fiqh. This study uses literature review method by relying on the strength of references and strong analysis of literacy texts. The conclusion that can be drawn from this discussion is that maslahah mursalah is something that is beneficial for humans as the goal of syara'. There are differences of opinion regarding the position of maslahah mursalah in Islamic law, in which some accept it and some reject it to be used as hujjah. However, the two of them met at the point that the groups that reject is the maslahah that only based on lust and mind, they do accept maslahah as hujjahif it is in line with what is required by syara'.

Abstract

Globalization flow getting stronger forces each individual to adjust to social life, especially in urban areas. In general, urban communities have begun to classify themselves into communities, both cultural and structural, both small and large communities. One of the communities that was born was a marginal community. This community has a very unique character and orientation and is rarely touched by preaching. Starting from here, this research aims to formulate Islamic preaching method that is suitable for the marginalized communities in Indonesian society. The research method used is qualitative research. In fact, qualitative research does not have a standard measure, the framework that is built can still be reconstructed and adapted to the objective conditions in the field. The approach used is phenomenology. This approach allows researchers to describe experiences as best as possible, understand and apply fairly to phenomena as they appear and are felt by experiences. The conclusion of this research is that the Islamic preaching method that is considered suitable for marginalized communities is da'wah bil hal, study centers, open houses, mentoring and advocacy, economic empowerment, educational scholarships, distribution of Zakat Infaq Sodaqoh (ZIS), library parks, health packages, compensation social and educational skills work.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the thoughts brought by Harun Nasution regarding power, God's absolute will and human freedom in an analysis of thought. This is based on Harun Nasution's thoughts which are often the subject of long discussions among thinkers and scholars, one of which is the statement that abandoning rational thought has an impact on the backwardness of Muslims and reason symbolizes human power. His thoughts received various responses from thinkers and scholars, so researchers were interested in examining his thoughts. The author uses qualitative research methods of literature and interpretive analysis, the author tries to collect data then filter and cite various data sources which are then interpreted in order to obtain a valid conclusion. The author's validation method uses method, time and theory triangulation. The results show that Harun Nasution views that God's power and will are limited by rational thinking. God has given freedom to humans according to His Sunnah. God gives freedom to humans to determine what they want so that this human freedom seems to limit the power and will of God. Every moment humans have to choose from several life choices which are essentially still within the scope of God's will.

Abstract

Perubahan sosial menjadi sebuah keniscayaan dalam tatanan bermasyarakat, tidak terkecuali pada pemikiran kaum wanita. Persoalan dasarnya adalah keraguan terntang posisi kaum wanita dalam refleksi inspirasi normatif dalam ajaran Islam. Status sosial kaum wanita terus berubah dan bergerak pada terbukanya jalan pendidikan dan informasi. Penelitian ini mengurai banyak pemikiran wanita muslimah dalam domain perubahan sosial yang mampu memberikan pengaruh besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif studi pustaka, eksplorasi literatur dalam berbagai bentuk- buku dan artikel jurnal. Penelitian ini menghasilkan satu kesimpulan bahwa dalam sejarah perkembangannya, pemikiran wanita muslimah banyak memberikan sumbangsih pada perubahan sosial masyarakat, bahkan beberapa tokoh mampu menyusun kekuatan untuk meraih lencana resmi kekuasaan di sebuah negara hingga berabad-abad. Buah pemikiran yang dicetuskan para tokoh wanita muslimah sangat berpengaruh dengan kemajuan masyarakat, sehingga wanita tidak lagi terkurung dalam kuatnya budaya yang melarang wanita meraih pendidikan dan informasi.

Abstract

Keruntuhan Daulah Abbasiyah pada abad XIII Masehi berdampak besar pada kondisi kaum muslimin di berabagai wilayah, kaum mulimin mengalami kemunduran di berbagai aspek kehidupan. Khazanah keilmuan menjadi sempit dan terbatas, kejumudan merajalela dimana-mana serta kekuatan ekonomi dan politik merosot drastis. Kondisi yang sedemikian rumit memaksa para tokoh dan kelompok muslim melakukan gerakan tajdid (pembaharuan) guna menjaga agama dan merangsang pola berfikir kaum muslimin untuk beranjak dari keterpurukan dan kejumudan. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif kepustakaan dengan menggunakan analisis interpretative, Penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi metode, waktu dan teori untuk keabsahan datanya. Penelitian menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa kemunduran kaum muslimin dipengaruhi oleh tauhi yang bercampur dengan macam khurafat, syirik, bid’ah serta pemahaman yang salah tentang tashawuf dan jauhnya jauhnya kaum muslimin dari ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Kemunduran kaum muslimin juga dipengaruhi oleh datanganya bangsa penjajah di negeri-negeri muslim. Semua gerakan tajdid (pembaharuan) yang terjadi pasca abad XIII Masehi memiliki ciri khas dan metodenya masing-masing namun semuanya nasab ilmu dan semangat yang saling terhubung.

Abstract

Pasca baiat Aqabah kedua para kafir Mekah dan sekutunya bersepakat untuk menghabisi Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘alaihi Wasallam hingga turun izin hijrah. Hijrah kemudian menjadi simbol  gerakan perubahan. Hijrah mengajarkan tentang perubahan besar yang syarat akan nilai teladan. Penelitian bertujuan menkaji pristiwa hijrah dari sudut pemikiran Islam modern dalam kajian nilai (filosofis). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif studi pustaka. Penelitian ini menghasilkan satu kesimpulan bahwa hijrah mengajarkan nilai kerelaan dalam meninggalkan kesenangan dunia, menghindari praktik politik tak sehat, mengahdirkan model interaksi yang sehat.

Abstract

Education has become one of the fundamental human rights that must be fulfilled by the state and implemented through legislation. The right to a good education for all citizens has become a global discourse, alongside the rights to work, freedom of speech, and a decent social life. This study examined the imposition of sanctions on students in schools in East Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi. The study concerned with the perspectives of Islamic law and Islamic education towards imposing sanctions on school students. The study used a qualitative method, analyzed with Islamic law and Islamic education theories. Data were collected by means of observation and in-depth interview with school principal, teachers, students, and academics. The findings reveal that schools apply disciplinary measures as part of the strategies to enforce school code of conduct. Schools integrate such measures into daily activities, which include providing guidance, setting a good example in words and deeds, applying sanctions, and providing rewards. In the view of Islamic law, the imposition of sanctions on students in educational institutions has benefits and is in line with the concept of maqashid al-sharia to discipline students and build their character from a young age, thereby producing good morals. Further, in the perspective of Islamic education, obedience, discipline, and respect for teachers are the morals of students that will have an intellectual and spiritual impact until they reach adulthood.

Abstract

This study is the dialectic between Islam and local culture in the purification system of the Butonese people. Data were obtained by means of interview, literature review, and observation. The study used the approaches of the social history of Islamic law and legal pluralism. The data were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis model. The findings of the study reveal that kankilo is a scientific concept that contains knowledge about the ways and purposes of purification as a result of the dialectic process between Islam and local traditions. For the Butonese, kankilo is taharah (purification), and taharah is kankilo. Hence, the concept and knowledge of taharah in the context of Buton culture can be referred to as Fiqh Kankilo. Fiqh Kankilo is a product of fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) thought designed on the local characteristics of Buton society. The locality that is clearly visible in the content of Fiqh Kankilo is inevitable, considering that the quality of individuals and cultures where a religious law develops is not a blank slate or a cultural vacuum. Thus, religion (i.e., fiqh) and culture are ultimately two aspects that are certain to be in partnership, to build synergy, and to greet each other. This inevitability occurs because the understanding of religion cannot avoid the locality of culture that is relative and particular. The legitimacy of the existence of Fiqh Kankilo can at least be referred to the history of the development of Islamic legal thoughts, which provides room for accommodation of traditions on the paradigmatic basis of “adat al-muhakkamat” (customary law).
