Abstract

One way to form elementary school students is to characterize the school environment, through literary learning (children's stories). Children's stories have a very fundamental role in character education. Children's stories can be used as teaching materials to form good characters for elementary students. Therefore, this study aims to determine the value of character education contained in the collection of children's stories on Peci and KKPK. To know this case in this research used qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study indicate that children's stories contained in Peci and KKPK can be used as teaching material because it has the value of character education as desired by the curriculum 2013. In addition, Peci and KKPK also have a story appropriate to the contextual life of children so that elementary students will be easy to internalize These values at once realize in everyday life.

Abstract

Hoax is one of social media evil. It is not only happen on adult, but also on children. Hoax brings negative effect for society, especially for children because they will have a bad behavior. So to solve this problem, they need character education. Character education is one of education to improve values of nation characters on students. Character education will be successful with litration culture, that is literature learning. The students will face directly about live value of figures, such as religion value, honestly, tolerance, love, justice, and service. By internalization that value, hopely the students will avoid from hoax activities.

Abstract

Ahmad Tohari’s short story entitled “Tinggal Matanya Berkedip-kedip” seen from social aspect depicts that authority and power of a leader supported by the power of “people live in poverty”. Without civilian’s support, a leader’s power is priceless. Cohesion in grammatical aspect such as referent, substitution, ellipsis, and conjunction also appeared in the short story. The function of grammatical aspect is mainly to make the story more interesting. Cohesion in lexical aspect in the form of repetition and synonym used in the short story functions to strengthen the author’s mind which delivered.

Abstract

Implementation of Lesson Study in the third semester students of Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program STKIP Muhammadiyah Kotabumi academic year 2017/2018. The aims of this article is to improve the process of studying of fiction Prose. The undertaken activities are the activities of the Lesson Study team which are consisted of model lecturers and observers (observers). The lesson Study activities are conducted three times open class. Each open class consists of four stages of activity, namely: planning (plan), implementation (do), observation and reflection (see). Each planning stage produces a learning plan, an MFI, and an assessment instrument. The learning process was done through the application of cooperative learning strategies “cooperative learning model typed”. The results obtained from the implementation of lesson study, namely increasing the liveliness, creativity, and student independence. Students' understanding of the subject matter of fiction prose fiction was increased. The quality of learning also was increased.

Abstract

The core of the research is ekranisasi of short story Filosofi Kopi becomes the film of Filosofi Kopi. The aim of the research is to describe ekranisasi of short story Filosofi Kopi becomes film of Filosofi Kopi. The result of the research shows that there is enkranisasi shorthenage, addition, and the change of the plot of story, setting, and characters in the form of short story becomes film. Short story and film of Filosofi Kopi can be used as a choice of literature learning, especially learning of ekranisasi because to fulfill criteria of the choice of learning material such as language, psychology, and culture.

Abstract

Teacher is a figure which the position is very important in education. Idealteacher always with their students in or out the class. Then, the teachers’ hearthalways reflected in daily life, not only as the symbol in the office. To be a goodteacher, someone must comprehend about all the materials, can make a goodplanning before teaching, have a good adaptation with the changing, alwaysimprove their ability, and know well about their students. The most important isthe teacher must have good sincere in teaching and learning proccess.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini ialah masih relatif rendahnya kemampuan mahasiswa PBSI Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi untuk menulis esai, sehingga perlu digunakan metode pembelajaran Number Head Together (NHT) dalam proses pembelajaran guna membantu meningkatkan hasil kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menulis esai. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk memberikan gambaran peningkatan kemampuan menulis esai pada mahasiswa PBSI Universitas Muhamadiyah Kotabumi setelah dosen memakai pembelajaran model Number Head Together (NHT). Metode yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang didapatkan merupakan hasil dari nontes, yaitu melalui proses observasi, wawancara kepada mahasiswa, serta melakukan teknik dokumentasi berupa hasil pengujian prasiklus. Berdasarkan data penelitian yang telah diperoleh, didapati hasil bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang cukup signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis esai pada mahasiswa PBSI Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi setelah mengikuti mata kuliah menulis esai dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran NHT.

Abstract

Era digital banyak berpengaruh negatif terhadap karakter anak. Di era tersebut, anak cenderung tidak peduli, kurang bertanggung jawab, dan tidak jujur. Rasa cinta terhadap tanah air pun mulai memudar pada diri anak-anak selaku penerus bangsa. Untuk itu, diperlukan sebuah penelitian. Karya Abdurahman Faiz dapat digunakan sebagai karya yang dapat membantu dan memotivasi siswa untuk berkarakter lebih baik. Kumpulan puisi karya Abdurahman Faiz yang berjudul Nadya Kisah dari Negeri yang MenggigiL dipilih dalam penelitian ini. Metode yang digunakan, yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini, yaitu kumpulan puisi Nadya Kisah dari Negeri yang Menggigil karya Abdurahman Faiz dapat digunakan sebagai materi ajar karena memiliki nilai pendidikan karakter seperti yang dikehendaki kurikulum 2013. Puisi-puisinya dapat dipakai sebagai materi ajar untuk pembentukan karakter unggul bagi siswa SD.

Abstract

The problem which is discussed in this research is the internalization of character education for students through literary literacy (Parmin’s Short story compilation) by Jujur Prananto. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to internalize the character education for students through literary literacy literacy (Parmin’s Short story compilation) by Jujur Prananto. Descriptive qualitative is used as a method in this research. The result showed that Parmin’s short story compilation can be used as one of discourse to internalize excellent character values for students.

Abstract

The problem discussed in this study is the cohesion contained in the lyrics of the song entitled Gajah album by Tulus. The lyrics of the song will be used as alternative teaching materials in high school. The purpose of this study is to describe the cohesion contained in the lyrics of the album's songs and determine whether or not the album is worthy of being used as an alternative teaching material in high school. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study found 59 cohesion data on grammatical and lexical aspects which include references, substitutions, ellipsis, conjunctions, repetitions and synonyms. From the aspect of teaching materials, the album's song lyrics have met the criteria so that they are worthy of being used as alternative teaching materials for students in high school.
