Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: Health, including reproductive health is everyone's right. Reproductive health can be achieved in several ways, including the practice of family planning through modern contraception used by married couples. Modern contraception brings positive impact for ensuring couples and families’ overall health and wellbeing. However, prevalence of modern contraception use among couples is still low, including in Indonesia. This study aimed to determine factors that predicted the modern contraception use of reproductive age married couples in Indonesia.Method: This study was quantitative study with cross-sectional approach. Data used in this study was secondary data from the 2021 Family Data Collection. Sampling technique was saturated sampling on reproductive age couples in 34 Provinces in Indonesia. Dependent variable was modern contraception use. Independent variables were women's ideal marriage age, women's early marriage age, and ideal number of children preferences. Data analysis used multiple linear regression test. Results: Results showed that variables that were significantly related to modern contraception use were women's ideal marriage age, women's early marriage age, and ideal number of children preferences (p<0.001). There was significant relationship between each variable women's ideal marriage age (p<0.001), women's early marriage age (p<0.001), and ideal number of children preferences (p<0.001) with modern contraception use. women's ideal marriage age, women's early marriage age, and ideal number of children preferences were predictors of modern contraception use among reproductive age married couples in Indonesia, both simultaneously and individually. Based on study results, reproductive age couples need to consider their age of marriage and gain good information and understanding about children preferences. It is hoped that it would increase their participation of modern contraception use.

Abstract

Most organizations proactively engage in innovation and transformation to sustain their existence and achieve progress amid complex and uncertain dynamic changes by encouraging employees to contribute beyond their formal duties through organizational citizenship behavior. The millennial generation, which currently dominates the workforce, faces challenges in meeting market demands and tends to exhibit low levels of organizational citizenship behavior due to psychological and economic factors. Transformational leadership is regarded as a significant factor influencing the emergence of organizational citizenship behavior. This study employs a quantitative correlational method using transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior scales, both measured on a five-point Likert scale with summed rating scores. The research subjects consist of 135 millennial employees of Company X in Bali, working in marketing, finance, human resources, and public relations divisions, of either gender, with a minimum tenure of one year and at least a senior high school education. The sampling technique used is disproportional stratified random sampling, and data analysis is conducted through Spearman’s correlation analysis. The results indicate a significant relationship between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior among millennial employees at Company X, with a significant value below 0.05 and a correlation coefficient of 0.298.

Abstract

The contribution of professional nurses in hospital is an important provision for the sustainability of hospital organizations. However, there are challenges for the hospital organizations, namely low nurses’ performances due to the implementation of inappropriate organizational culture. This study aimed to examine the relationship between organizational culture and nurse performance in hospitals. This study was a quantitative correlational study. The population was nurses in hospitals in Indonesia with a sample of 619 nurses who met the criteria of male or female gender, minimum education equivalent to high school, and working for at least 1 year. The sampling method was convenience non-probability sampling, data was collected with organizational culture scale and performance scale and was analyzed with simple linear regression. The study results stated that there was relationship between organizational culture and nurse performance in hospitals with correlation value of 0.347 and probability value below 0.05. The implementation of flexible and responsive hospital organizational culture is a crucial factor in producing a positive impact on nurses’ performances in hospitals.

Abstract

Tingginya intensi turnover pada karyawan generasi milenial menjadi ancaman bagi generasi ini dalam menghadapi persaingan kerja di era bonus demografi. Stabilitas perusahaan juga akan terganggu sehingga penting untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang dapat menghambat intensi turnover baik dari sisi individu maupun pihak perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian literatur terhadap 10 artikel yang dianggap relevan oleh penulis terkait dengan turnover pada karyawan generasi milenial. Hasil dari kajian literatur ini menunjukkan bahwa komitmen organisasi, kepuasan kerja, dan worklife balance sebagai faktor-faktor yang mengurangi intensi turnover pada karyawan generasi milenial secara internal. Sedangkan keterikatan kerja, keterlibatan kerja, serta beban kerja merupakan faktor-faktor yang mengurangi intensi turnover pada karyawan generasi milenial segi eksternal.

Abstract

Abstrak: Relawan merupakan orang yang sukarela mau menolong orang lain dan terdaftar dalam suatu organisasi. Salah satu organisasi relawan yang ada yaitu komunitas “Ketimbang Ngemis Bali” (KNB). KNB bertujuan membantu “sosok mulia” yaitu lansia yang memilih untuk tetap masih bekerja dan tidak mengemis. Relawan KNB tidak mendapatkan keuntungan secara materi dari kegiatan yang dilakukannya dan mau mengorbankan apa yang dimilikinya. Ini menunjukan perilaku menolong yang didasari oleh altruisme yaitu pemberian pertolongan dengan motif sukarela, tidak mengharapkan balasan meskipun tidak memberikan manfaat secara langsung untuk diri sendiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui karakteristik altruisme dan gambaran altruisme pada relawan KNB. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Responden penelitian ini berjumlah empat orang berdasarkan metode pengambilan sampel non acak bertujuan dengan kriteria sudah menjadi relawan minimal satu tahun di komunitas KNB. Metode pengambilan datanya menggunakan wawancara. Metode analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif menurut Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa karakteristik altruisme relawan komunitas KNB terdiri dari empati, niat yang tulus, tanggung jawab, dan percaya karma. Sedangkan gambaran altruisme relawan komunitas KNB diawali dari karakteristik altruisme yang mendasari keinginan menjadi relawan untuk menolong. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjawab dinamika yang terjadi dalam diri relawan untuk lebih mengenal diri sendiri sehingga mampu memperkuat alasan untuk tetap menjadi relawan dan menolong secara altruis di tengah situasi sosial yang semakin individualis karena tekanan lingkungan global.

Abstract

One of the main foundations for the development of an individual’s quality and potential in all facets of life is education. Moreover, as one of the agents of bringing about positive change, college students must engage in a learning process that involves various roles that are fulfilled both academically and non-academically. College students are expected to be able to maximize every role in the process of successful achievement through grit, which is defined as persistence and passion. This study aimed to conduct a literature review on related studies in order to better comprehend grit and its importance for college students in Indonesia. Furthermore, ten studies that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were included in the literature review. According to the results of the literature review, there are various roles of grit for college students in Indonesia. These various roles are related to subjective well-being, mindset, flourishing, self-adjustment, stress, academic procastination, academic accomplishment, resilience, coping strategies, and hope in college students. In addition, it was expected that this literature review may provide college students in Indonesia with knowledge concerning the role of grit and how to develop it, as it will have an impact on many aspects of life and success.

Abstract

Organizational students are responsible for undergoing lectures, which are also accompanied by their involvement in organizations on campus. This makes the lecture situation even more challenging. Academically, lectures have made various demands that create a stressful situation for students. Situational factors, namely role conflict, and individual factors, namely grit, are thought to have an influence on academic burnout. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of role conflict and grit on academic burnout. The measuring instruments used in this study were the academic burnout scale with a reliability of 0.892, the role conflict scale with a reliability of 0.918, and the grit scale with a reliability of 0.889. The sample size in this study was 190 organizational students at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. Data analysis in this study used multiple linear regression techniques with a significance value of 0.000 and a coefficient of determination of 0.437. These results mean that there is a significant effect of role conflict and grit together at 43.7% on academic burnout. Each independent variable has a significant effect on academic burnout, with the beta coefficient of role conflict showing positive results, while the beta coefficient of grit shows negative results. Based on these results, it is important for organizational students to minimize role conflict and develop grit in an effort to reduce academic burnout.

Abstract

Kemalasan sosial merupakan salah satu aspek yang membuat bekerja dalam kelompok menjadi kurang efektif. Kemalasan sosial dapat menghambat potensi yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa itu sendiri karena tidak akan mampu menyadari potensi yang ada dalam dirinya dan terbiasa mengandalkan kemampuan orang lain. Sehingga muncul pertanyaan yang mendasar pada penelitian yaitu apa saja yang memengaruhi kemalasan sosial pada mahasiswa. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang memengaruhi kemalasan sosial pada mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kajian literatur. Artikel penelitian yang direview pada kajian literatur berkisar tahun 2015-2022 yang ditelusuri melalui online research data base. Hasil dari penelusuran menunjukkan bahwa kemalasan sosial dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Terdapat faktor intrinsik yang memengaruhi kemalasan sosial mahasiswa meliputi adversity quotient, peran gender, motivasi berprestasi, jenis kelamin, big five personality, kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal, harga diri, efikasi diri, locus of control internal, dan kepercayaan diri. Sedangkan faktor ekstrinsik meliputi kohesivitas kelompok.

Abstract

Cyberloafing refers to the behavior of using the internet for personal purposes during working hours, which can reduce productivity, including among civil servants (ASN). This study aims to examine and identify the various factors that influence cyberloafing among ASN through a literature review method. Literature searches were conducted using Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, and Garuda, with inclusion criteria covering the years 2015–2025. Based on an analysis of 13 journal articles, the factors influencing cyberloafing were classified into two main categories: internal and external factors. Internal factors consist of individual characteristics, psychological aspects, and role-related elements inherent to employees as members of an organization. In contrast, external factors involve aspects of the work environment shaped by organizational systems and conditions. The findings indicate that cyberloafing among ASN is predominantly influenced by internal factors, although external factors also play a significant role. This review is expected to serve as an initial foundation for understanding the causes of cyberloafing among civil servants and to guide the development of more targeted policies. Furthermore, the results open opportunities for future research to explore similar factors in sectors beyond the public service.Cyberloafing merupakan perilaku menggunakan internet untuk keperluan pribadi selama jam kerja yang dapat menurunkan produktivitas, termasuk di kalangan Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mengidentifikasi berbagai faktor yang memengaruhi cyberloafing pada ASN melalui metode kajian literatur. Pencarian literatur dilakukan melalui portal Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, dan Garuda dengan kriteria inklusi rentang tahun 2015–2025. Berdasarkan 13 jurnal yang telah dianalisis, ditemukan bahwa faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi cyberloafing dapat digolongkan ke dalam dua kategori utama, yaitu kategori internal dan eksternal. Kategori internal terdiri dari faktor individual, psikologis, serta peran di tempat kerja yang melekat pada diri individu sebagai bagian dari organisasi. Sementara itu, kategori eksternal mencakup faktor lingkungan kerja yang berasal dari sistem dan kondisi yang dibentuk oleh organisasi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa cyberloafing pada ASN lebih dominan dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal, meskipun faktor eksternal juga memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan. Kajian ini diharapkan menjadi landasan awal dalam memahami penyebab cyberloafing pada ASN serta memberikan arah bagi perumusan kebijakan yang lebih tepat sasaran. Selain itu, hasil ini juga membuka peluang bagi penelitian selanjutnya untuk menelaah faktor-faktor serupa dalam konteks sektor lain di luar ASN.

Abstract

Generation Z (Gen Z) employees show a significant increase in job turnover rates, with a tendency to change jobs within a short period of time. This tendency is often an indicator of low organizational commitment, as employees who lack emotional attachment and a sense of belonging to the organization are more likely to decide to seek other opportunities. Low organizational commitment is a serious challenge that requires further attention, given the importance of human resource quality that is in line with organizational needs. Therefore, this study aims to identify and map the factors that contribute to organizational commitment among Gen Z employees based on the latest empirical findings. This study uses a literature review method to examine predictors related to organizational commitment among Gen Z employees. The study was conducted descriptively on 10 quantitative articles in the 2020–2025 time frame with a variety of sampling methods and involved respondents from the Gen Z employee group. The results of the study show three main categories of factors that shape organizational commitment among Gen Z employees, namely individual psychological factors, work environment factors, and social and relational factors in the workplace. These findings provide practical contributions for organizations in designing more adaptive and effective human resource management strategies to shape long-term organizational commitment among Gen Z employees.Keywords - Generation Z, Gen Z employee, Literature Review, Organizational Commitment.
