Abstract

For the success rate of fertilization and hatching rate of fish eggs Jelawat required amount sufficient sperm for fertilization. This study uses completely randomized design 3X3, with treatment A comparison of the male parent female 2 : 1, treatment B male parent female ratio of 3: 1 and the treatment of male female parent comparisons C 4 : 1. The results of the fertilization rate of eggs produced fish Jelawat best treatment C ( 96.37 % ) with the ratio of male parent female 4 : Power Level 1 and hatching fish eggs produced Jelawat best treatment B ( 94.33 % ) in the ratio of male parent female 3 : 1.Results of all water quality parameters indicate conditions for hatching fish eggs support for Jelawat, but for ammonia concentrations slightly above the recommended value

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan tingkat efektivitas penggunaan shelter dari botol air mineral pada saat penggangkutan induk udang galah. Penelitian menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan perlakuan a).Perlakuan A adalah pada pengangkutan induk udang galah sebanyak 2 ekor/shelter b).Perlakuan B adalah pada pengangkutan induk udang galah sebanyak 3 ekor/shelter. c).Perlakuan C adalah pada pengangkutan induk udang galah sebanyak 4 ekor/shelter. Hasil yang didapat selama proses pengangkutan induk udang galah tidak ditemukan kematian induk undang galah sehingga kelangsungan hidup 100%, pada semua perlakuan. Dengan demikian Penggunaan Shelter dari botol air mineral efektif untuk menekan mortalias induk udang galah pada saat pengangkutan. Kemudian secara keseluruhan nilai/kisaran kualitas air DO, pH, Suhu, Salinitas masih dapat di toleransi oleh udang galah. This research was to get the effectiveness level of shelter when transportation of Giant Freshwater Prawn. The method used of Completely Random Design with the treatment A) of Giant Freshwater Prawn at 2 tail/ shelter package. Treatment B) of Giant Freshwater Prawn at 3 tail/ shelter package. Treatment C of fresh water prawn at 3 tail/ shelter package. The results was obtained the transport process Giant Freshwater Prawn not found of mortality, so the survival rate of 100%, on all treatment, and then the use of Shelter from mineral water bottle package was effectiveness decrease Giant Freshwater Prawn of mortality. . Overall value white water quality range DO, pH, Temperature, Salinity can still be tolerated for Giant Freshwater Prawn.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan informasi laju pertumbuhan dari padat tebar yang berbeda dengan pemberian pakan fermentasi yang dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Basah Prodi Budidaya Perairan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Achmad Yani Banjarbaru. Dengan Lama Pengamatan 30 hari .Metode peneltian yang digunakana dalah Metode Eklsperimen dengan Perlakuan yang dicobakan adalah: a) Perlakuan A adalah padat tebar benih ikan nila sebanyak 40 ekor/37,5 liter air. b). Perlakuan B adalah padat tebar benih ikan nila sebanyak 50 ekor/37,5 liter air. c). Perlakuan C sebanyak 60 eko/37,5 liter air, dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Pakan yang digunakan pellet merek PF 100 (PT Matahari Sakti) dengan kandungan Protein 40%, Lemak 6%, serat 3% yang disemprotkan larutan fermentasi EM4 10ml/kg. Persentase pemberian pakan 3% dari berat ikan uji dengan Frekuensi pemberian pakan 2 kali perhari (pagi jam 06.30 wita dan Sore jam 18.30 wita. Parameter uji yaitu Kinerja pertumbuhan meliputi pertumbuhan relatif (%) dan sintasan (SR) ikan nila serta pengukuran parameter kualitas air meliputi Suhu, pH dan DO dan NH3. Dilakuan Pengujian uji normalitas, homogenitas uji keragaman ANOVA. Hasil penelitian didapat padat penebaran Ikan nila dengan pakan fermentasi yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh pada laju pertumbuhan1 dan kelangsungan1 hidup ikan nila. Serta Parameter kualitas air untuk Suhu, pH dan DO berada pada batas normal sedangkan untuk NH3 berada di atas pada batas normal.

Abstract

This Community Engagement aims to enhance the efforts of snakehead fish processing in Sungai Rangas Ulu Village, Martapura, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan. It was achieved through training provided to groups of housewives. With the participation of 71.43% of the expected attendees, this study successfully imparted the necessary knowledge and skills to process snakehead fish into high-value products. Employing a methodology comprising lectures, demonstrations/ practical sessions, and question-and-answer sessions, participants comprehended and effectively applied the concepts of snakehead fish processing. It is evident that 95% of the planned content was effectively delivered to the participants. These results are reflected in the enthusiasm of the participants and the new skills they acquired in processing snakehead fish with various flavors such as durian, chocolate, melon, and mango. The research demonstrates an increase in knowledge regarding the diversification of processed food from snakehead fish, providing new opportunities for participants to enhance their income through more creative snakehead fish processing endeavors. Consequently, this engagement initiative has effectively yielded a positive impact in developing snakehead fish processing businesses, strengthening the potential of local products, and improving the welfare of the local community. Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the protein content of catfish fed with feed from fish waste with different compositions. Fish waste, consisting of entrails, fish heads, scales, and shrimp shells. The content of the waste contains 29.70% protein, 18.83% fat, 1.94% carbohydrates, 8.97 water content. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of four treatments and replications. The factors consist of (A) 70% fish waste, (B) 50% fish waste, (C) 30% fish waste (D) pellet comfeed feed. Results The protein content of catfish at the beginning of the observation was 12.75%, and at the end of the treatment study (A) 8.20%, (B) 15.77%, (C) 12.84%, D (15.54%), Results the protein content was relatively good in treatment (B), but overall that the protein content for all treatments was still within the normal range.

Abstract

Intensive cultivation often risks the emergence of disease, this is because in intensive cultivation tilapia are kept with high stocking densities and intensive use of feed, which causes a decrease in water quality which in turn can trigger the emergence of disease. Fish diseases arise due to an imbalance between fish as gills of pathogens/microorganisms that carry disease, and the environment. The fish's defense system can be disrupted due to environmental changes and the development of pathogens in a cultivation container. This research aims to find out whether there are ectobacteria in tilapia fish in fish farming ponds in Lihung Village. The results of the research will make it easier to provide information about sick fish and how to deal with disease in the environment of fish cultivating ponds that are attacked by ectobacteria. The research was carried out for 10 days, 4–14 March 2023 at the KIPM Banjarmasin Laboratory, starting from taking test fish samples, necropsy, microscopic examination, as well as the types of ectobacteria found in tilapia seeds taken from fish farming ponds. Necropsy activities are carried out by weighing the weight of the test fish, checking the completeness of the fish's body organs and checking the body of the fish that will be observed. All samples of the test fish are weighed according to the required standard of at least 10 grams with a fish body weight of 50 grams, for completeness. body organs of all test fish samples are complete. From the sample results, it was found that there were 2 bacteria that attacked Tilapia fish in Lihung Village, namely Aeromonas sp. and Proteus sp bacteria

Abstract

Climbing Fish (Anabas testudineus) BLOCH culture is very potencial to be depelop.  One of the critical succes factors is the succes of cultivition is the availability of good a seeds in sufficient quantities and sustainable.  Temperature is one of the factors that influence the hatch ability of eggs. The experiment used a completly randomized design (CRD) method, consisting of three treatment and three replications. The order of treatment was A 26°C, B 28°C and C 30°C. The result of research for each treatment A, B and C indicate that avarage of hatching rate ware 96,53%, 98,33% and 99,31%. Data analysis uses variance test (ANOVA). The result showed the temperature significantly. Result of water quality measurement at each treatment is pH 7,61 – 7,67 and 7,63 – 7,79. DO 4,35ppm – 5,09ppm and 4,55ppm – 4,19ppm. Ammonia 0,01ppm and 0,01ppm – 0,1ppm

Abstract

Phytopharmaceuticals are currently the focus for overcoming fish disease problems which cause environmentally friendly aspects. Phytopharmaceuticals are the preparation and use of medicinal plants in the fisheries sector as a preventive measure and treatment of disease. Efforts to control fish diseases in various ways include phytomarfaca, environmentally friendly, safe for cultivated biota and consumers (food safety). Phytopharmaceuticals as growth promoters, antibacterial agents, anti-fungal agents, anti-parasitic agents, antioxidant agents, immunostimulants for fish, adjuvants in vaccines, antiviral agents. Phytopharmaceuticals are applied according to the age or size of the fish, the method of feeding and the length of time it is administered. Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (P2M) di Desa Aranio Kecamataan Aranio Kabupaten Banjar ini memiliki luaran kegiatan yakni (1) Meningkatnya keterampilan khalayak sasaran dalam menerapkan manajemen kesehatan ikan secara mandiri untuk kegiatan pembudidaya ikan di wilayah desa tesebut. (2) Bagi pengabdi, kegiatan P2M merupakan bagian dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, dimana melalui kegiatan ini pengabdi menyebarluaskan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang dimiliki untuk khalayak sasaran. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan terhadap khalayak sasaran adalah metode ceramah. Ceramah disampaikan dengan mengumpulkan khalayak sasaran dalam satu tempat kemudian diberikan materi. Penyampaian materi dilakukan dengan menggunakan LCD, sehingga khalayak sasaran dapat menerima materi dengan jelas dan rinci. Setelah itu dilakukan tanya jawab dan diskusi, sehingga tercipta komunikasi secara dua arah antara pengabdi dan khalayak sasaran. Materi yang diberikan meliputi Manajemen Kesehatant ikan secara mandiri. Khalayak sasaran yang memperoleh keterampilan dan informasi dari pengabdi adalah masyarakat Desa Aranio.
