Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze capacity building, obstacles in increasing capacity building and efforts/solutions to overcome these obstacles. This is based on the imbalance between the operation of the pilot training system and the needs of the pilot. There were 20% of pilot trainees who had their training postponed and of the 16 required trainings, around 30% of the pilots trained only attended 4 of the trainings. Total training does not include 13 Specialized Training. This research was conducted at PT Garuda Indonesia from April to August 2021. This study used a qualitative approach. Data was collected by observation, literature study, and interviews with 7 informants. The concept used in this research is capacity building. The results of this study are that the system for increasing capacity building is very good because Garuda Indonesia has its own training plan, but in practice there are currently obstacles due to the Covid-19 pandemic, where out of around 16 basic training, only 4 trainings are carried out. by prospective pilots and no specialized training has been followed. PT. Garuda Indonesia provides a forum for all its employees in the form of associations in each field, such as that of Garuda pilots, there is an association called the Garuda Pilots Association (APG) which accommodates various suggestions, inputs, complaints and various improvement efforts from all existing pilots to submitted to the leadership through the APG

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of workload and organizational culture on employee engagement at NAM Air in Jakarta. This is motivated by the problem that many pilots choose to change jobs. Furthermore, there are also problems with pilot flying hours and working hours which are only valid for two months. This research was conducted at NAM Air in Jakarta from April to August 2021. This study used a quantitative approach. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 44 respondents. This study shows that there is a significant influence between the workload variable on the employee engagement variable, which is 24.5%, there is a significant influence between the organizational culture variable on the employee engagement variable, which is 21.4%, and there is a positive and significant effect on workload and culture. organization simultaneously on employee engagement pilot PT. NAM Air is 32.3%

Abstract

This study aims to determine how employee engagement is implemented, obstacles in the application of employee engagement, and solutions in resolving obstacles in implementing employee engagement in an effort to support the work commitment of Air Traffic Controller (ATC) at Kertajati Airport. This is based on the problem in which the age of Kertajati Airport is still relatively young, many employees want to move, and employees do not have strong emotional loyalty and attachment to Kertajati Airport, so that their work commitment can be said to be low. This research was conducted at Kertajati Airport from May 2020 to September 2020. This research used a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, in-depth interviews, and literature study. Interviews were conducted with 7 informants. The concept used is employee engagement. Based on the data obtained, it can be seen that Air Traffic Controller (ATC) employees have implemented Employee Engagement. Internal and external obstacles, such as: a) differences of opinion; b) uneven training; c) misunderstanding between colleagues; d) overlapping tasks; e) the distance from Kertajati International Airport which is far from the employee's house. Efforts are made to overcome obstacles: Have lots of discussions between employees so that there are no misunderstandings or differences of opinion, take the time to go to work and go home on time so that they can arrive at their destination in the expected time

Abstract

Analysis Of Public Participation In Fire Prevention And Management In Sectoral  Residential Area, Kebayoran Lama District, South Jakarta. This study proposes determining community participation in fire prevention and control of sectoral settlements, Kebayoran Lama District, South Jakarta. The method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The study results show that (1) Public participation in the prevention and control of fires in sectoral settlements, Kebayoran Lama District, South Jakarta, includes direct and indirect participation. Direct participation from the community to become volunteers in the Environmental Fire Resilience System (EFRS) and the Fire Volunteer Line. Moreover, one thing that the public can participate indirectly by coordinating with officers when a fire occurs, (2) Constraints on public participation in the prevention and control of fires in sectoral areas, Kebayoran Lama District, South Jakarta, is mainly related to the timing of socialization and training activities which often clash with daily public activities, (3) One of the efforts that has been made to overcome obstacles to community participation in the prevention and control of fires in sectoral areas, Kebayoran Lama District, South Jakarta, is increasing the frequency of socialization and continuous training.
