Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan (1) unsur-unsur pembangun penalaran, (2) varian penalaran induktif dan deduktif, dan (3) struktur penalaran dalam artikel rubrik opini Surat Kabar Harian Jawa Pos. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian kualitatif dengan orientasi teoritis analisis isi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah Surat Kabar Harian Jawa Pos. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan (1) unsur pembangun penalaran dalam artikel rubrik opini Surat Kabar Harian Jawa Pos yaitu: (a) pendirian, (b) bukti, dan (c) penyimpulan. (2) varian penalaran dalam artikel rubrik opini Surat Kabar Harian Jawa Pos yaitu: (a) penalaran induktif dan (b) penalaran deduktif. (3) struktur penalaran dalam artikel rubrik opini Surat Kabar Harian Jawa Pos yaitu: (a) bagian pembuka/pendirian, (b) batang tubuh/bukti, dan (c) bagian penutup/penyimpulan.Kata Kunci: penalaran, artikel rubrik opini, Jawa PosAbstract: This study aimed to describe (1) the elements that build reasoning, (2) the variants of inductive and deductive reasoning, and (3) the structure of reasoning in the articles of opinion rubric of Jawa Pos daily newspaper. This study used a qualitative research design with the theoretical orientation to content analysis. The data source of this study was the Jawa Pos daily newspaper. Research results showed: (1) the elements that build reasoning in the articles of opinion rubric of Jawa Pos daily newspaper, namely: (a) establishment, (b) evidence, and (c) conclusion; (2) the variant of reasoning in the articles of opinion rubric of Jawa Pos daily newspaper, namely: (a) inductive reasoning and (b) deductive reasoning; and (3) the structure of reasoning in the articles of opinion rubric of Jawa Pos daily newspaper, namely: (a) the opening/introduction section, (b) the article body/evidence, and (c) closing section/conclusion.Keywords: reasoning, article of opinion rubric, Jawa Pos

Abstract

Abstract

Children's fairy tales are a literary art that presents children's favorite entertainment and there is knowledge to increase children's knowledge. Children's fairy tales are a way to instill five main values in strengthening character education. It must be known, namely religious values, nationalism, integrity, independence, and mutual cooperation. This research was a qualitative research by describing the five main values of character education in the children’s  fairy tale on  bobo.grid.id and its implementation in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The researcher as the key instrument carried out heuristic and hermeneutic readings to find and describe the main values of character education, namely religious, nationalist, integrity, independent, and mutual cooperation values in Bobo children's fairy tales. The results show that there are five main values of character education in children's fairy tales on bobo.grid.id that can be implemented in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic such as praying to God so that the pandemic will end soon and protocols comply with the safety of self and others.

Abstract

Literary works are able to describe the reality outside of the human being exactly as it is. The novel of Seribu Wajah Cinta by Fredy S. is a form of popular literature. Popular literature restates records of life in hope that the reader will get to know his experiences again so that they feel comforted, because someone has told his experience. The research method uses a qualitative approach with the researcher acting as a key instrument. Data collection was carried out by taking steps, carrying out intensive reading, recording data, coding the parts of the novel that were appointed as data, analyzing, and interpreting the data to find representations of broken relationship and criminality in the novel of Seribu Wajah Cinta by Fredy S. shows the broken relationship and criminality which is a reflection of daily life.

Abstract

Language skills that are important and used in everyday life, one of which is writing skills. This writing skill is a form of active productive skill because the writer actively produces or expresses his ideas. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to describe a multitalented strategy to activate students in learning to write drama scripts. Innovative strategies are needed in learning to write drama scripts so that students are encouraged to be active, critical, and creative students. Multitalented Strategy is a strategy in which each student mobilizes all his talents in writing drama scripts.

Abstract

The music video with title Bertaut by Nadin Amizah depicts the life of a family consisting of only women. The absence of men in a family shows a new order that is separated from the habits, structures, and social systems of society that regard men as the control gender in the family. Women are able to act as single parents, act as mothers and fathers because they have strong, independent, and responsible characters. The results of this study indicate the role of women at home and outside the home as breadwinners. Women who have loyalty always accompanies family members in happy and sad times. Women are strong figures and able to strengthen other family members who are in trouble. The results of the study can be used as guidelines for teachers in shaping the character of students who are strong, independent, responsible, and have empathy for others. Through literary learning, students can experience catharsis, reflect on the figure that is well described in the lyrics of the song so that they can adapt the good character to be themselves.

Abstract

Penyuntingan teks berkelompok dilakukan secara manual berhadapan dengan teks tercetak maka proses pengerjaannya tentu memakai lebih banyak kertas dan tidak praktis. Maka, pemanfaatan Google Docs dalam kolaborasi real-time pembelajaran menyunting teks perlu dilakukan untuk mengatasi kondisi kurang praktisnya mengedit menggunakan teks tercetak. Dalam pembelajaran menyunting teks secara berkelompok juga akan lebih praktis, efektif, dan efisien jika menggunakan Google Docs. Google Docs dapat menghubungkan editor dalam satu waktu untuk menyunting teks bersama-sama. Kelebihannya tentu lebih canggih dibandingkan menyunting pada teks tercetak masing-masing yang kemudian masih perlu didiskusikan dan diketik ulang. Melalui Google Docs, pengetikan dilakukan secara real-time.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of Islamic religious education at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata, where the curriculum patterns have become increasingly diverse over time. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of Islamic education curriculum management based on the local wisdom of the pesantren. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological type is used. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the study show that the curriculum is implemented through the stages of planning, curriculum implementation, structured program arrangements, assignment of teaching duties, and curriculum evaluation or assessment. Meanwhile, the subjects programmed by the pesantren are integrated into the learning process at Madrasah Aliyah, consisting of two majors: Science and Social Studies, including Science, Taruna, Research, Regular, and Intensive classes.

Abstract

The stigma attached to women with widow status remains a strong social phenomenon in patriarchal societies, including in Madura. The identity of widows is often associated with negative connotations that hinder their freedom and rights in everyday social life. This study examines how the lyrics of modern Madurese songs represent social resistance against the stigma of widows through expressions of popular culture. Using a critical discourse analysis approach within the framework of social sciences, this research explores in depth how language in song lyrics constructs, maintains, or challenges existing social structures. The analysis focuses on two songs, Anyar Dedih Janda and Lanceng Abini Randha, which represent the voices of widowed women in confronting social stigma. The findings show that these songs not only reflect the lived experiences of widows but also function as advocacy tools in constructing alternative, more positive, and empowering narratives. Song lyrics become an important medium for promoting gender equality, redefining women’s identities, and shifting discriminatory social perceptions. This study highlights the crucial role of popular culture as a medium of resistance and social transformation against patriarchal norms in Madura.

Abstract

This research highlights the importance of preserving language and cultural identity in an increasingly powerful era of globalization. Globalization and information technology accelerate cultural interaction but also promote the homogenization of values thru the dominance of foreign languages. Using the novel Bumi Cinta as the research object, this study analyzes cultural encounters thru the characters of Ayas and Ilena. With a literary futurology approach, this research explores the role of language as resistance to globalization and the transformation of cultural identity. The novel "Bumi Cinta" by Habiburrahman El Shirazy was chosen as the research object because it presents the dynamics of cultural encounters thru its characters, particularly Ayas and Ilena, who explicitly display tension, resistance, and identity negotiation. This research uses a qualitative method with a literary futurology approach. The analysis focuses on the dialog, narrative, and cultural symbols contained in the novel, with language projected as a medium of resistance and transformation of cultural identity in the face of globalization. Data was obtained from the novel's text and analyzed interpretively using the theoretical frameworks of cultural identity and futurology. The research findings indicate that the character Ayas uses Indonesian and Arabic as a form of resistance against foreign cultural influences and as a symbol of collective identity resilience. Meanwhile, the character of Ilena reflects the process of negotiating and transforming identity thru her openness to learning Islamic language and values. The Moscow backdrop as a multicultural space reveals the interplay between local traditions and global influences. This finding confirms that language not only maintains cultural continuity but also serves as an instrument of cultural diplomacy capable of projecting the direction of future identity. Thus, literature plays a strategic role as both a medium of reflection and projection in maintaining and negotiating cultural identity in the era of globalization.
