Abstract

The development of Early Childhood Education (ECE) curricula requires innovations that combine local wisdom with technological advancements. This study discusses creating early childhood language curricula based on local content and supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. The main goal is to develop a curriculum foundation that not only improves children's language skills but also promotes local cultural values through a modern approach. The method used includes a literature review and descriptive analysis of ECE curriculum practices in several educational institutions. The findings indicate that incorporating local content into an AI-based curriculum can enrich learning materials, support personalized language learning, and boost children's motivation via interactive and contextual media. However, successful implementation depends on educators' readiness, technological infrastructure, and supportive regulations. This study concludes that an early childhood language curriculum based on local content and enhanced by AI offers an innovative strategy to meet future digital-era challenges while maintaining cultural identity.

Abstract

Background. The rapid development of information and communication technology has transformed the educational landscape, requiring teachers to possess adequate digital literacy skills to optimize the learning process. In Lebak Regency, the diversity of geographical conditions and technological infrastructure raises questions about the extent to which digital literacy affects teacher performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of digital literacy on junior high school teachers’ performance in the region. Methods. Using a quantitative approach and a correlational survey method, data were collected from 120 purposively sampled teachers representing three geographical zones. The research instrument was validated and tested for reliability before use. Data analysis employed descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. Results. The results showed that digital literacy had a significant and positive effect on teacher performance, contributing 48.6%. Teachers with high digital literacy demonstrated better abilities in planning, implementing, and evaluating learning activities. Most respondents were in the high digital literacy category, although a small portion remained at a low level, particularly in areas with limited technological access. Conclusion. This study provides novelty by quantitatively analyzing this relationship within a specific subnational context (Lebak Regency) characterized by significant geographical and infrastructural disparities, a gap often overlooked by previous national-level or urban-focused research. The findings imply a critical need for a dual intervention policy that requires local government to not only improve equitable ICT infrastructure but also design adaptive professional development programs focused on contextual digital pedagogy to bridge the persistent competency gap

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect effects of organizational culture, transformational leadership, and managerial competence on educational quality through organizational behavior in public elementary schools in Serang City, Indonesia. A quantitative study employing an ex-post facto survey design was conducted with a sample of 291 public elementary school teachers selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected through validated Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis to examine direct and mediating relationships among variables. The results indicate that organizational culture (β = 0.033, p < 0.001), transformational leadership (β = 0.095, p < 0.001), and managerial competence (β = 0.469, p < 0.001) significantly influence organizational behavior, which fully mediates their effects on educational quality (R² = 0.976). Among the predictors, transformational leadership demonstrates the strongest total effect on educational quality. The findings suggest that improving educational quality requires integrated leadership development, enhancement of managerial competence, and strengthening organizational culture through interventions that foster positive organizational behavior in schools. This study introduces organizational behavior as a critical mediating variable that explains how leadership, culture, and managerial competence collectively translate into educational quality improvement in public elementary school settings. The study contributes to educational management literature by providing empirical evidence of a comprehensive mediation model and offering practical insights for policymakers and school leaders in designing evidence-based strategies for sustainable school quality improvement.
