Abstract

One of the government's efforts to overcome the problem of education is by organizing PPG-SM3T program. This study aims to determine whether motivation factors, parents’ support, emotional intelligence and career planning affect the interest to follow PPG-SM3T on UNNES Economic Education students either jointly or partially. The population of this study are all students of Economic Education UNNES year 2013 which amounted to 440 students, with a total sample of 82 students. The sampling technique used is Cluster Proportional Random Sampling. Before the instrument was used for data retrieval, an instrument test was performed on 30 students. Data collection method used is questionnaire. Data analysis methods used are descriptive analysis techniques and multiple linear analysis. The results showed that there is influence of motivation, parent support, emotional intelligence and career planning interested to follow PPG-SM3T of 97.60%. While the motivation to be a teacher influence on the interest to follow the PPG-SM3T of 49.42%. Parents’ support affects interest in following the PPG-SM3T by 41.09%. Emotional Intelligence affects interest to follow PPG-SM3T as much as 5.80% and career planning has an effect on interest in following PPG-SM3T of 8.94%.

Abstract

Savings behavior is important to start early so that it can educate children to be able to control themselves from consumptive manner, learn to be able to spend money wisely. Savings activities have also trained children to grow into a community that is skilled in financial management. The objectives of this study are to find out the effect of family and school environment on self-control and find out the effect of the family and school environment and self-control on students' saving behavior. This type of research was a quantitative with a correlational approach. The research sample was 324 students with proportional stratified random sampling technique. The data analysis techniques used path analysis. The family and school environment have a positive and significant effect on students' self-control. Family environment, school environment, and self-control have a positive and significant effect on students' saving behavior.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out the effect of entrepreneurs knowlede, personality, and family circles against the enterprise’s interest. Moreover, this research aimed to find out how the intervening variable that was self-eficacy could influence the entrepreneurs knowledge, personality, and family circles into the enterprise’s interest. This research used quantitative method. The subjects of this study were 83 participants from 5 SKB in enterpreneurship skills education courses who had undergone the education and training process in the discricts and cities of Semarang. Collecting the data was questionnaire. The method of analysing the data was percentage descriptive, path analysis and sobel test. The result of the research showed that the variables of entrepreneurs knowledge, personality, and family circles influenced the enterprise’s interest. The result of path test explained that the variables of entrepreneurs knowledge, personality, and family circles could use self-efficacy varible as the mediation because the total effect of each independent variable was larger than the dirrect one. The suggestion for this research is the participants must be actively involved in various activities which can strengthen the interest of becoming the successful entrepreneurs and pay attention to the activities of business people or entrepeneurs who have succeeded around them that can be used as a reference in developing business. In addition, SKB is expected to be able to take the right policy breakthrough in order to increase the entrepreneurship’s interest of the participants in entrepreneurship skils education courses.

Abstract

Consumptive behavior as buying intention keeps increasing to get satisfaction in term of good and service ownership without considering its uses. This behavior may be instilled into life style of teenagers. They will grow to be consumptive mature individuals if they are not guided. This research aims to analyze and find empirical evidence of life styles, financial literacy through self-control as intervening variable to consumptive behaviors of the students. This qualitative correlational research used proportional stratified random sampling. There were 121 students selected. Technique of analyzing data was lane analysis. The findings showed life style, financial literacy, and self-control influenced consumptive behavior. Furthermore, life style and financial literacy influenced consumptive behavior through self-control as mediator.

Abstract

Sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) merupakan lembaga pendidikan formal yang bertujuan menghasilkan lulusan yang terampil, mandiri, dan mampu bersaing dalam dunia kerja. Kesiapan kerja penting dimiliki oleh siswa SMK untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh praktik kerja industri, bimbingan karier, dan lingkungan keluarga baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui efikasi diri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 619 siswa dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 161 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner yang diuji validitas, uji reliabilitas dan uji asumsi klasik. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis jalur dan uji sobel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh prakerin, bimbingan karier, lingkungan keluarga dan efikasi diri terhadap kesiapan kerja. Hasil uji sobel, efikasi diri dapat memediasi pengaruh prakerin, bimbingan karier dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap kesiapan kerja.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of fund, land area, farming experience, and number of labor on a cocoa production which is moderated by a farming motivation in Subah and Pecalungan, Batang. It is a quantitative descriptive research study. A random sampling technique was used in the sample selection of simple random sampling. The data collection method was using questionnaires. The data were analyzed by a path analysis with moderated regression analysis. Results of the study shows that fund influenced the cocoa production which is moderated by the farming motivation for 0.4976 or 49.76%, land area influenced the cocoa production which is moderated by the farming motivation for 0.4853 or 48.53%, farming experience did not influence on the cocoa production which is moderated by the farming motivation for -0.0151 or -1.51%, and number of labor influenced the cocoa production which is moderated by the farming motivation for 0.5177 or 51.77%. Suggestion for the next researcher is to analyze on another variables that influence the cocoa production, for instance; amount of the productive cocoa trees, weather, and farming technology

Abstract

Increasing population growth and increasing human needs cause the need for land to also increase. A farmer is someone who operates in the agricultural sector, mainly by managing land with the aim of growing and maintaining plants such as rice, flowers, fruit, etc., with the hope of obtaining results from these plants for their own use or selling them to other people. The aim of this research is to find out the stages of adoption of superior seeds of lowland mekongga rice and what the stages of adoption of superior seeds of mekongga lowland rice are by farmers in Tawamelewe Village, Uepai District, Konawe Regency. This research was carried out from July to September 2023 in Tawamelewe Village, Uepai District, Konawe Regency. The research results show that the majority of farmers adopted superior mekongga seed innovations through five stages of adoption, namely the awareness stage, interest stage, assessment stage, trial stage and adoption stage. There is a small number of farmers who accept the innovation of superior mekongga seeds to the level of awareness and interest.
