Abstract

Abstract: Subground passive cooling is a passive cooling technique that is carried out by flowing cold air in the ground into the room. The Pasio Christi Church in Cibunut, Kuningan, West Java was founded in 1965. Then the church implemented a passive cooling subground system through renovations carried out on May 11, 2018. This passive cooling system is usually carried out in areas with subtropical to cold climates, however Cibunut who has a tropical climate tries to implement this system. In fact, there is concern if the system is implemented in the tropics, such as humidity entering the system, causing fungal problems that can have an impact on health. . Therefore this research describes the application of the subground passive cooling system in tropical climates with the following steps: (i) data collection in the form of literature studies, (ii) identification of the subground passive cooling system of Cibunut Church, (iii) elaboration of theory regarding subground passive cooling, (iv) analysis of the application of subground passive cooling of the Cibunut church with the results of theoretical elaboration. This research is expected to be able to contribute in science, especially regarding the application of subground passive cooling systems in tropical climates.Abstrak: Subground passive cooling merupakan teknik pendinginan pasif yang dilakukan dengan mengalirkan udara dingin dalam tanah ke dalam ruangan. Gereja Pasio Christi di Cibunut, Kuningan, Jawa Barat didirikan sejak 1965. Lalu gereja ini menerapkan sistem subground passive cooling melalui renovasi yang dilakukan pada 11 Mei 2018. Sistem pendinginan pasif ini biasanya dilakukan pada wilayah dengan iklim subtropis hingga iklim dingin, namun demikian Cibunut yang beriklim tropis mencoba untuk menerapkan sistem ini. Padahal ada kekawatiran jika sistem ini diterapkan di wilayah tropis, seperti kelembaban yang masuk dalam sistem sehingga muncul permasalahan jamur yang dapat berdampak pada kesehatan. Oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini mendiskripsikan mengenai penerapan sistem subground passive cooling pada wilayah beriklim tropis dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut : (i) pengumpulan data dalam bentuk studi literatur, (ii) identifikasi sistem subground passive cooling Gereja Cibunut, (iii) elaborasi teori mengenai subground passive cooling, (iv) analisis penerapan subground passive cooling gereja Cibunut dengan hasil elaborasi teori. Dari penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan sumbangsih dalam keilmuan terutama mengenai penerapan sistem subground passive cooling pada wilayah beriklim tropis.

Abstract

Perancangan Mixed Use Building Dengan Konsep Arsitektur Hijau merupakan bangunan dengan fungsiutamanya sebagai sarana tempat tinggal dan kantor. Mixed Use merupakan suatu ruang yang dapat digunakansebagai tempat hunian dan tempat bisnis yang terdiri dari beberapa unit kompleks apartemen dan kantor dimanadidalamnya memiliki kriteria kelas rendah, sedang, dan tinggi serta sebagai tempat berkumpul. Denganmenerapkan prinsip-prinsip Hijau seperti Reuse wate, Conserving Energy, Working Climate, dan Respect for Sitesehingga bangunan Mixed Use ini dapat menjaga kesehatan psikologis penghuninya. Dengan menggunakanbentuk massa bangunan yang digabungkan adanya podium dan skylobby dengan bentuk secara dinamis sertaditambahkan overstack pada bagian sisi bangunan, yang ditanami tumbuh-tumbuhan mengikuti bentuk polaoverstack tersebut. Hal tersebut mendasari alasan menerapkan konsep arsitektur Hijau yang memiliki hubunganpositif dengan alam. Berlokasi di Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta yang terkenal dengan potensi padat penduduk danpusat area bisnis diharapkan mampu menjadi sarana untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tempat tinggal dan tempat untukbekerja dengan gaya modern yang mempu menjadi sarana untuk merespon hubungan positif dengan alam melaluifasilitas Mixed Use dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip Hijau sehingga mampu merespon baik hubungan antaramanusia dengan alam.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Islamic boarding schools as the forerunner of the Islamic education system in Indonesia with the style and character of indigenous people in instilling the ideology of education in Indonesia. Islamic boarding schools with all their uniqueness are still expected to support the development of the education system in Indonesia. The originality and uniqueness of pesantren aside from being a treasure of the nation's cultural traditions is also a supporting force for the pillars of education to emerge moral national leaders. Therefore, with the realization of modern Islamic boarding schools that can meet all the needs of prospective students in an effort to improve the learning system by prioritizing the main facilities that are in accordance with the general school curriculum and supporting Islamic boarding schools, especially paying attention to comfort and safety by applying modern architectural concepts, so that people's trust Parents of students continue to increase to Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in natural resources, since the beginning of the creation of nature with a variety of wealth and beauty is a support for the welfare of human life, which humans live in and can live on the results of nature. It can be said that humans are very dependent on nature. Nature and all of it have been created in such a way by God Almighty with extraordinary beauty to be enjoyed by humans, both mountain scenery, waters, and flora and fauna in it and also community culture which is the result of human civilization, one of which is architecture. Ngada Regency is a district in the central part of the island of Flores, East Nusa Tenggara province, Indonesia. The capital of the district is Bajawa. The area is 1,645.88 Km2 with a population of 132,716. Ngada Regency has three major tribes, namely the Nagekeo Tribe, the Bajawa Tribe and the Riung Tribe. Ngada Regency is one of the regions in East Nusa Tenggara Indonesia has become a tourist destination for both domestic and foreign tourists, tourist destinations in Ngada Regency include natural tourism, cultural tourism, religious tourism, and agro-tourism. This has a positive impact because the number of tourists visiting is increasing.

Abstract

The mosque is a place of worship for Muslims. The Ministry of Religion issued provisions regarding different designations for mosques. One of the prayer rooms in Kelurahan Kreo Selatan is the Al-Hasanah Mosque which is located at Gang Sawo No. 27, RT.01/RW.13, Kelurahan Kreo Selatan, Kecqmqtqn Larangan, Kota Tangerang, Banten. Al-Hasanah Mosque congregation is growing rapidly and DKM intends to expand the mosque building and turn it into a mosque. The current condition of the Al-Hasanah prayer room consists of a 1-story building. And the early history of this prayer room was a house belonging to the congregation which was then donated to become a prayer room. The current condition of the Al-Hasanah Mosque needs to be developed because the congregation of the Al-Hasanah Mosque is increasing and is becoming increasingly unaccommodated. Based on these conditions, Budi Luhur University Architecture Study Program organized Community Service activities to jointly prepare the Al-Hasanah Mosque Renovation Budget Plan. The method of implementing the activities uses the Architectural Design Process. Where the renovation design of the Al-Hasanah Mosque is adjusted to the input from the mosque manager, while the working drawings of the mosque renovation design are adjusted to architectural standards. Then proceed with the calculation of costs (RAB) based on the preliminary drawings that have been mutually agreed upon

Abstract

Assistance activities were carried out at the Al-Mizan Mosque which is located in Rawamangun Village, Pulo Gadung District, East Jakarta City. Until now, the Al-Mizan Mosque has not been equipped with a minaret in which there is a complete sound system. There is already a sound system room but only in the form of a room on the 2nd floor, to be precise, above the ablution room. This condition causes the sound range of the call to prayer from the Al-Mizan Mosque to be less than optimal. The sound system room which is equipped with loudspeakers is currently only 7.2 meters high from the floor of the mosque. Even though many residential buildings around the Al-Mizan Mosque are higher than the loudspeaker point. To overcome this problem, the management of the Al-Mizan Mosque wants to build a Minaret. Based on these conditions, the Architecture Study Program at Budi Luhur University held Community Service activities to design and make plans to As-Built Drawings for the Minaret of the Al-Mizan Mosque, using knowledge from the fields of architecture and economics to control the use of renovation funds. The design of the minaret of the Al-Mizan Mosque was adjusted to input from the mosque manager and adapted to architectural standards, while the as built drawing of the mosque's minaret was adjusted to what was built in the field. The purpose of adding the minaret to the mosque is for the mosque to have a minaret as a good loudspeaker with a wider range than before and supported by an adequate sound system, thereby providing added value to the congregation of the mosque.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) yang telah dilakukan bertemakan smart lighting berbasis internet of things guna memberikan wawasan dan kemampuan untuk merancang smart lighting yang dapat diaplikasikan di rumah. Kegiatan ini telah dilaksanakan di SMA Budi Luhur, Kecamatan Karang Tengah, Kota Tangerang, Banten. Kegiatan PkM ini dilaksanakan dalam kurun waktu 4 bulan, dimulai dari bulan Maret 2023 sampai dengan Juni 2023. Berdasarkan diskusi langsung dengan salah satu guru di SMA Budi Luhur, dapat disimpulkan permintaan kebutuhan solusi permasalahan dari mitra terkait dengan pemahaman bangunan energi dan penerapannya bagi siswa. Oleh karena itu, telah dilakukan penyusunan strategi persiapan kegiatan, proposal kegiatan pelaksanaan PkM, dan materi serta perlengkapan yang disampaikan ke peserta kegiatan siswa/i SMA Budi Luhur. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat telah dilaksanakan dalam bentuk workshop mengenai pemahaman teori IoT guna meningkatkan efisiensi bangunan hemat energi dengan agenda pemaparan dan praktek perancangan IoT secara langsung. Dalam kegiatan PkM yang diusulkan ini, program lebih difokuskan pada pendampingan siswa/i sehingga para peserta memiliki skill kemampuan untuk menciptakan dan mengaplikasikan IoT dalam rangka efisiensi bangunan hemat energi. Kata kunci: IoT; hemat energi; pencahayaan alami; smart lighting; workshop. ABSTRACTCommunity service activities that have been carried out with the theme "Understanding of Internet of Things-Based Smart Lighting for Energy-Saving Building Efficiency for Budi Luhur Tangerang High School Students" to provide insight and skills in the ability to design smart lighting that can be applied at home. This activity was carried out at Budi Luhur High School, Karang Tengah District, Tangerang City, Banten. This PkM activity was carried out over a period of 4 months, starting from March 2023 to June 2023. Based on direct discussions with one of the teachers at Budi Luhur High School, it can be concluded that requests for solutions to problems from partners are related to understanding energy building and its application to students. Therefore, the next step is to formulate an activity preparation strategy, a proposal for the Community Service Program implementation activities, and materials and equipment to be delivered to the participants in the Budi Luhur High School student activities. Community service activities have been carried out in the form of workshops on understanding IoT theory in order to increase the efficiency of energy-efficient buildings with an agenda of direct presentation and practice of IoT design. In this proposed PkM activity, the program is more focused on assisting students so that participants have the skills to create and apply IoT in the framework of energy-efficient building efficiency. Keywords: IoT; energy saving; natural lighting; smart lighting; workshops.

Abstract

This research focuses on designing apartments with the application of green architecture in Cengkareng, West Jakarta. Rapid population growth in the region has led to a scarcity of residential land and rising property prices. Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) shows that the population of DKI Jakarta will increase to 10.64 million in 2022. A similar problem occurs in West Jakarta, especially in Cengkareng, which is a business center. Many workers have difficulty getting affordable housing near their workplace. The proposed solution is to build apartments with a green architectural approach. This apartment will be a solution for people who need housing near workplaces and public facilities, while reducing irregular development. Apart from being a residence, this apartment can be used as an investment or business opportunity through temporary leasing. The aim of this research is to design apartments that meet the needs of the people of West Jakarta, especially Cengkareng, by paying attention to aspects of green architecture. Another goal is to reduce the gap between housing and workplaces and provide adequate facilities. The approach to problem solving involves analyzing human, environmental and building aspects. Data collection was carried out through field surveys, comparative studies, observations, and literature studies. Primary and secondary data are used to design apartments as needed. Hopefully, this apartment can answer the problem of housing availability in West Jakarta while prioritizing sustainability.

Abstract

Recently, the issue of air pollution is being discussed because it is a problem that must be addressed immediately, especially in the Capital Region of Jakarta and its surroundings, Jabodetabek is the area with the highest level of air pollution in Indonesia, including the city of Tangerang. The right handling of air pollution is to balance or fulfill green open spaces that are overgrown with many plants, to absorb carbon dioxide that causes air pollution. Flora Conservation Building is a building used for efforts to maintain, utilize, and preserve plants, so that these plants are preserved, besides that it is a place for the general public to learn about plants so that, the general public can plant trees in their respective homes properly and correctly. By planting trees in each house, the need for private green open space will be fulfilled and can reduce the number of air pollution in the city of Tangerang. In addition to making the building a place for plant education, the Conservation Building will also be built as an iconic recreational place for the people of Tangerang city, with the application of Metaphor Architecture to each building mass in the conservation area will make the existing buildings into buildings that are easily remembered and recognized by the general public.
