Abstract

Kata kunci: mesin shredder; kandang dual-zona; zero waste; ekonomi sirkular; maggot Abstract Wonosari Village, Puger District, Jember Regency, faces serious problems in the management of organic waste, most of which is still disposed of or burned, causing environmental pollution and loss of economic potential. This service activity aims to integrate appropriate technology in the form of shredder machines and dual-zone maggot cages to support the cultivation of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae as a zero waste solution based on a circular economy. The shredder is used to chop household and market organic waste into fine slurries, while the 2.5 m × 1.5 m × 1 m dual-zone cage with an additional 0.5 m drawer is designed without right angles to keep BSF flies from sticking to the frame, as well as separating a light room for mating and a dark-damp room for oviposition. Technical training to the Wonosari Village Youth Organization is carried out in a participatory manner, including shredder operation, cage management, and maggot cultivation cycle until harvest. The results of the implementation showed that the shredder was able to process 120–160 kg of organic waste per day, while the cage produced an egg hatching rate of 85–90% with consistent maggot production. Maggot are harvested at the age of 10–12 days with a size of 1–1.2 cm and a high protein content, used as poultry and fish feed, while organic residues are processed into compost. The impact achieved not only reduces the practice of burning waste, but also opens up new economic opportunities through the strengthening of Karang Taruna-based village waste management units. The integration of shredder machines and innovative maggot cages has proven effective in reducing organic waste, increasing maggot cultivation productivity, and strengthening the economic independence of rural communities based on the zero waste concept. Keywords: shredder machine; dual-zone enclosure; zero waste; circular economy; maggot

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing corporate transfer pricing decisions in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020–2023 period. Independent variables include taxes, bonus mechanisms, ownership structure, company size, leverage, and profitability, with transfer pricing as the dependent variable. The method used is quantitative with a multiple linear regression approach. The population of this study includes all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020–2023. The sample used was 43 companies. The results show that taxes, bonus mechanisms, and company size have a significant effect on transfer pricing decisions, while ownership structure, leverage, and profitability do not show a significant effect. These findings confirm that tax aspects and managerial incentives are the main drivers of transfer pricing practices. This study is expected to provide input for company management, tax authorities, and investors in understanding transfer pricing practices in the context of tax regulations and the capital market in Indonesia.

Abstract

Transparent and trustworthy financial management in mosques is a fundamental pillar for maintaining institutional integrity and preventing financial fraud. This article explores the importance of implementing mosque accounting practices that are accountable and aligned with good financial governance principles to enhance public and congregational trust. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach and literature review, the study identifies that many mosques still manage finances in a disorganized and non-transparent manner, with limited oversight. Such conditions increase the risk of fund misappropriation. To address this issue, the article proposes strategies such as adopting digital bookkeeping systems, providing basic accounting training for mosque administrators, and ensuring regular and publicly accessible financial reporting. The application of transparency, congregational participation, and periodic audits are key components in establishing a professional and trustworthy accounting system for mosques. The study concludes that structured financial governance, grounded in Islamic values, is an effective approach to preventing fraud and strengthening the financial accountability of mosque institutions.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of improving the quality of human resources in the transportation sector, particularly at PT Kereta Api Indonesia Daop XI Jember, as an effort to achieve optimal operational performance. This research adopts a quantitative approach, a numerical method employing the Partial Least Square (PLS) technique with WarpPLS 8.0 software. The group includes every worker of PT Kereta Api Indonesia. Daop XI Jember, with a sample of 283 respondents selected using probability sampling through proportional random. Information was gathered via surveys and examined utilizing tests for validity and reliability, along with structural model assessment. The findings suggest that both training and skill positively and significantly influence motivation, and that training, skill, and motivation together also positively and significantly impact employee performance. Nonetheless, skill does not greatly influence performance via motivation, indicating that competence directly influences performance without being mediated by motivation. The originality of this research is found in analyzing motivation as an intermediary factor. These results add to theoretical understanding in creating models for human resource performance and offer practical insights for managing human resources within the transportation industry.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of adaptive work behavior, self-efficacy, and employee competence on performance, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at the Civil Service, Education, and Training Agency (BKPP) of Banyuwangi Regency. The research applied a quantitative method with descriptive and verificative approaches. From a population of 6,241 employees, a sample of 100 respondents was selected using the Slovin formula and purposive sampling technique. Data analysis employed Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results indicate that adaptive work behavior, self-efficacy, and competence each have positive and significant effects on both job satisfaction and employee performance. Job satisfaction also significantly affects performance. However, its mediating role is not consistently effective, as it does not significantly mediate between adaptive behavior or self-efficacy and performance. In contrast, competence positively influences performance through satisfaction. These findings suggest that strengthening competence and sustaining satisfaction are crucial strategies to enhance performance at BKPP Banyuwangi.
