Abstract

The study aims to discover obstacles and efforts to increase the potential of tourist attractions in Banjarmasin City. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. Techniques for collecting data are observation, structured interviews, and documentation of related sources. The study results stated that the leading tourist attraction was centered on the riverbank. Several obstacles hindered the riverside tourist attraction regarding training, structuring traders, the Covid-19 pandemic, limited budget, natural factors, and limited information. Efforts to develop tourist attractions along the river, improve infrastructure, and carry out promotions through the Android application Nagabungas, which can be downloaded from the Play Store. It can restore the riverbank area to improve river ecology, restore the function of the riverbank as a public area, restore historical riverbank areas, restore riverbank heritage objects, and enhance the economy of riverbank communities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of contribution, effectiveness, and growth of local tax revenue and regional levies on the local income of districts/cities in South Kalimantan. The method used is descriptive quantitative with analysis technique of contribution ratio, effectiveness ratio, and growth ratio using secondary data from the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance, Ministry of Finance website. This study's results indicate that local taxes' contribution to local revenue has quite good criteria, and local levies to local revenue have poor bars. The effectiveness ratio shows that the average regional tax and regional retribution are very effective. Based on the results of the average regional tax growth rate for 2011-2020 with the criteria of not being successful and the average growth of provincial levies with the requirements of being unsuccessful.

Abstract

The basis of this study is to (1) analyze the effect of the variables GRDP, Labor Force Participation, and Poverty partially and simultaneously in South Kalimantan Province for the 2011-2020 period and (2) to analyze which factors are more dominant in influencing the Human Development Index in South Kalimantan Province in the period 2011-2020. This type of research is quantitative, while the analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with time series using Eview 9. The results of this study indicate that GRDP partially affects the Human Development Index significantly, and LFPR and Poverty do not partially affect the Human Development Index. The three independent variables simultaneously significantly affect the Human Development Index in South Kalimantan Province. The most significant influence on the Human Development Index is the GRDP variable.

Abstract

This Research was conducted to (1) analyze the Influence of Population, PoorPopulation, and Open Unemployment on Economic Growth in Banjarbaru city ; (2) tofind out what factors are most dominant in influencing economic growth ini the city ofBanjarbaru.This research was conducted in the city of Banjarbaru with data from thecentral Kalimantas Statistics Agency that can be used indata processing. Data isprocessed using multiple regression analysis (Multiple Regression Analysis) with F Testand T Test.The result of this study prove a positive relationship betwaan the level ofpopulation and economic growth. This shows that the greater the level of population willincrease economic growth in the city of Banjarbaru.

Abstract

Fishermen’s income is influenced by various factors, both internal and external factors. In this study, internal factors such as length of time at sea, operational costs, experience and total wages of crew members variable (free). In this study to determine the effect of variable length of time at sea, operational costs, experience, and the total wages of crew members on the income of fishermen in Pagatan Besar Village, Takisung District, Tanah Laut Regency. The data source used in this research is primary data in the form of interviews with a sample of 42 respondents. The analytical tool used is multiple linier regressionwith income as the dependent variable and four independent variables, namely length of fishing (days) and operational costs (Rp). Experience (years), and the total wages of the crew (Rp). Multiple linier regression will test the effect simultaneously (f test) and partially (t test) through eviews 10 software. The results of this study indicate that the length of time fishing, operational costs, and total wages of crew members individually (partially) have a significant effect on income. While the experience variable does not have a significant effect. The variables of length of time at sea, operational costs, experience, total wages of crew members together (simultaneously) have a positive effect on the income of fishermen in Pagatan Besar village, Takisung District, Tanah Laut Regency. Based on the conslusions that can be applied in order to increase fishemen’s income, where all the variables in this study can increase the income of catch fishermen in Pagatan Besar Village.

Abstract

This research was conducted (1) to find out whether there were differences in the income of traders before and during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Sungai Andai Traditional Market, North Banjarmasin District. (2 To find out what strategies are being used by traders to increase income during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Sungai Andai Traditional Market, North Banjarmasin District.This type of research is descriptive quantitative research, while the analysis technique used is paired t-test using SPSS. The results of this study show that there is a significant difference between the income of traders before Covid 19 and the income of traders during Covid 19, where most of the traders experienced a decrease in their income from doing business such as giving discounts or sales and some using social media to increase their income during the pandemic.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze (1) How is the role of fertilizer subsidies inincreasing farmer production ; (2) Is there a difference in income for farmers before usingsubsidized fertilizers.The research respondents were 72 farmers in Simpur, Hulu Sungai Selatan, which can beused in the data processing. Data were processed using Paired Sample T-test using SPSSapplication version 26.This study indicates that the measurement of the implementation of fertilizer subsidydistribution is instrumental because it can increase farmers 'incomes so that farmers' lives aremore prosperous. Also, the existence of fertilizer subsidies has dramatically helped farmers inSimpur District, Hulu Sungai Selatan, to increase agricultural commodities production tosupport national food security. The income of farmers who before using fertilizer subsidies lookssignificantly different.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the agricultural business's impact on the land owner'ssocio-economic conditions regarding livelihood structure and ownership of agriculturalland. A factor affecting land-use change is the lack of workforce to work on or manageagricultural land in Banua Binjai Village.Landowner income before over agricultural business and after over agriculturalbusiness changes in the form of an increase. Gain occurs to people in Banua Binjaivillage over the farming business and is influenced by several factors: lack of labor towork on the land, the family's economic pressure, and the desire to open a new business.Based on paired t-test results, it is known that the t-count of -6.435 with a significancevalue of 0,000 (p <α). The test results can be concluded that accepting Ha and rejectingHo means that there is a difference in the income of landowners in Banua Binjai Villagebetween before and after land conversion.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine what factors influence and are the most dominant in employment opportunities in the agricultural sector in South Kalimantan. This study uses time series data from 2005-2019, the data used are obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of South Kalimantan Province. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis which is calculated using the Eviews application. The results obtained from this study are the variables of the agricultural sector GRDP, labor force, Farmer Exchange Rates (NTP) and The Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) have a significant simultaneous effect on job opportunities in South Kalimantan Province. The most dominant factor in influencing job opportunities in South Kalimantan Province is the labor force.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether the variables of Human Development Index (HDI), Minimum Wage and Open Unemployment Rate have a significant effect simultaneously and partially on the number of poor people and to analyze the most dominant variable affecting the number of poor people. The scope of this research takes the area of South Kalimantan Province. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from documentation and literature at agencies related to this research which will be processed by multiple linear regression analysis and simultaneous tests and partial tests. The results of this study are the Human Development Index (HDI), Minimum Wage and Open Unemployment Rate simultaneously and partially have a significant effect on the number of poor people. The Open Unemployment Rate is the most dominant factor affecting the number of poor people.
