Abstract

Penelitian ini mengangkat permasalahan bagaimana bentuk ketidaksantunan berbahasa yang dilakukan oleh creator TikTok Denise Charitas dalam sosial media Tiktok. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan bentuk ketidaksantunan yang dilakukan oleh creator TikTok Denise Carista dalam media sosial Tiktok. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode simak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang ditemukan terdapat lima bentuk ketidaksantunan berbahasa yang dilakukan oleh creator TikTok Denise Charista dalam media sosial TikTok miliknya, yaitu ketidaksantunan berbahasa kategori kesembronoan, kategori memain-mainkan muka, kategori melecehkan muka, kategori mengancam muka, dan ketidaksantunan berbahasa kategori menghilangkan muka.

Abstract

This study examines compound words in the Suwawa language, which involve the combination of two words to create new meanings and are commonly used in Suwawa conversations. The research focuses on two key aspects: (1) the forms of compound words in Suwawa and (2) the meaning of compound words in Suwawa. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, the study aims to elucidate the forms and meanings of compound words in Suwawa. Data were collected from Suwawa language speakers residing in Tingkohubu Timur village, Suwawa Subdistrict, utilizing data collection tables and employing interview, documentation, listening, and recording techniques. The data analysis involved presenting, reducing, and verifying the data to draw comprehensive conclusions. The findings reveal two significant outcomes. Firstly, the Suwawa language exhibits three forms of compound words: substantive subordinative, attributive subordinative, and coordinative compound words. Secondly, compound words in Suwawa convey three distinct meanings: noun, verb, and adjective compound words. This research sheds light on the structure and semantic aspects of compound words in the Suwawa language, contributing to a deeper understanding of Suwawa linguistics.

Abstract

Emotional is characterized by words of satire. This study aims to describe the types and functions of satire majas in Saluan language. The method used is the descriptive method. The results showed (1) types of satire majas in Saluan language, namely: (a) irony Belesi hondo, (b) cynicism Bolimo mongunjang, (c) sarcasm Pateakon na komiu, (d) satire Butong um atina nodiyeqmo, and (e) innuendo sangalu sanggaat anu manohong; (2) The function of satire majas in Saluan language, which is to congregate, affirm, poetize, remind, and express certain emotional states of the heart. The Saluan language in West Longkoga Village makes satire function to express feelings to others.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the use of Capcut-based video media in learning to identify the elements of news text on students, student learning outcomes, and inhibiting factors in the use of Capcut-based video media. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative research type. Based on the results of the study, it is stated that the use of Capcut-based video media in learning to identify the elements of news text has been successfully used so that student learning outcomes reach competency standards, and in accordance with RPP. The assessment of identifying the elements of news text on students in the knowledge aspect is in the form of text described in the student worksheet.

Abstract

This research was motivated by a title about the use of subtle language or choosing the right words when interacting. A person can be said to be ethical if he pays attention to polite and courteous language in his speech. The aim of this research is to describe or explain the form and function of Indonesian euphemisms among teenagers in East Pentadio village. The method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative research type. Based on the research results, it was found that the forms of euphemistic expressions used by young people in East Pentadio include abbreviations, foreign terms, metaphors and periphrases. Meanwhile, refined language functions to create a polite and comfortable atmosphere, disguise meaning, and reduce embarrassment. The habit of softening words has become part of society's culture. For this reason, as a cultured society, we are expected to be able to recognize the use of euphemisms. This serves to maintain mutual feelings and comfort in communicating with fellow speakers.

Abstract

This community service activity is a collaborative activity between lecturers and students of the Department of Indonesian language and literature, Gorontalo State University. This activity was carried out on the basis of concern and concern for the existence of Suwawa language as one of the regional languages in Gorontalo province which began to experience degradation. Several studies have shown that the Suwawa language has begun to decline. For this reason, this activity is a form of conservation and revitalization of the Suwawa language. This service was held in Tingkohubu Village, Suwawa district with participants were children between the ages of 3-8 years. The stages of activities include preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation stages include coordinating with the village government, recruiting participants, to arranging materials and preparing drawing materials. The implementation stage is in the form of giving material using the expository method, guess the picture, and games. The evaluation was conducted to test children's mastery of basic vocabulary of Suwawa language using quiz and door prize methods. The results of this activity showed a significant increase in vocabulary Suwawa language in children. This can be seen from their enthusiasm when answering the quiz to guess the words in the picture

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan teknik membaca SQ3R dalam menceritakan kembali isi teks narasi mahasiswa Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini adalah tabel atau catatan hasil penerapan teknik membaca SQ3R dan ungkapan ulang isi teks. Sumber data penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester II kelas A dan B Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia yang berjumlah 53 orang. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah simak-catat, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 34 responden mengikuti seluruh tahapan SQ3R, 18 responden tidak menerapkan tahapan Review, dan 1 responden tidak menerapkan semua tahapan SQ3R. Hasil menceritakan kembali isi teks narasi menunjukkan tiga kategori nilai, yaitu 8 responden memiliki nilai sangat baik, 26 responden memiliki nilai baik, dan 19 responden memiliki nilai cukup. Penerapan teknik SQ3R efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa untuk menceritakan kembali isi teks narasi, karena teknik ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman tetapi juga memori dan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang penting dalam proses narasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi, fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi, serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tindak tutur ilokusi pada dialog interaktif Bincang Sore Radio Suara Rakyat Hulonthalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik dokumentasi, teknik simak, dan teknik catat. Data dianalisa dengan cara mengindetifikasi, mengklasifikasi, menganalisis, serta menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat lima bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi, yakni asertif, direktif, komisif, ekspresif, dan deklaratif; (2) fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi mencakup fungsi konvivial dan kolaboratif; dan (3) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya tindak tutur ilokusi, yaitu faktor peran partisipan, dan fungsi pemakaian
