Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to find out the level of conformity measures study on RPP teacher of Biology and completeness of components form composing RPP teacher Biology class X in the top 3 of high school in Palembang.  A method used is descriptive method. The data was done in the top 3 of high school with the subject of the research three teacher Biology class X in the top 3 of high school in Palembang. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, the level of confirmity of RPP substance are in the category of very appropriate, appropriate, and very appropriate.This  incompatibility is a substance measures the study on core activities not suitable with the five aspects of the scientific approach (5M) that is set in Kemendikbud 2013. The confirmity level of completeness of RPP components are in the category of very fit. RPP Components in the category of very fit is the identity of the subjects, core competency, basic competency, indicator of attaintment of competency, the purpose of the study, study material, and source of study. Abstract

This study aims to develop MONOKEBU learning media based on the theme "Beautiful Diversity of My Country" with attractive design, diverse menu display, and clear, accurate, and detailed material. This learning media was then evaluated by two teams of validators consisting of media experts and material experts. The evaluation results showed that MONOKEBU learning media received an average score of 86,6% from media experts and an average score of 95% from material experts, with the criteria "very feasible" to be used and developed. Student response to MONOKEBU learning media is also very positive, with a percentage of 92% stating that the media is very interesting. Students gave feedback that MONOKEBU learning media was able to attract their attention, increase interest in learning, and use simple and easy-to-understand language. In addition, students' pretest and post-test results showed significant differences, with the total post-test score increasing from 1380 to 1760, and the average score increasing from 69 to 88. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the development of MONOKEBU learning media succeeded in creating a product that is feasible and effective to use in the learning process. MONOKEBU learning media is able to attract student interest, increase understanding, and obtain better learning outcomes. Thus, MONOKEBU learning media can be used as an effective solution in improving the quality of learning with an interactive approach.

Abstract

At this time the development of Indonesian society and the development of Indonesian law has undergone significant changes which also affect the nation's sense of nationalism. The current millennial generation has experienced a collapse of rationalism where this has occurred by the erosion of the values of nationalism of the younger generation which is the basis of the younger generation's love for their homeland Indonesia. Many young people do not understand the essence of the implementation of nationalism. The spirit of the previous generation of young people who had a fighting spirit and a high spirit of nationalism, is now slowly fading. In the journey of the Indonesian state, it has been proven that youth has a significant role to be able to become an agent of change from a country colonized by the Dutch by means of colonization to a conducive country. Basically, Indonesian youth have the intelligence to think openly and tolerantly to accept differences (diversity) in race, ethnicity, religion and culture. Nationalism is a vehicle capable of mobilizing elements of society and eliminating the influence of bad foreign cultures and aims to revive a culture that reflects the nation's pride. The substance of Indonesian Nationalism has two elements, first, public awareness of the importance of units and also the unity of the Indonesian nation consisting of tribes, ethnicities, and religions. Secondly, the awareness of the Indonesian people in the elimination of all foreign cultures. The influx of outside cultures has a major impact on the erosion of the sense of nationalism of Indonesia's young generation today. In addition to the influence of external cultures that arise, the influence of the government also has an impact on the waning sense of nationalism of the nation's children

Abstract

Drama is a work of art composed of dialogue containing stories or events involving conflict between characters. Learning drama texts is acting or staging drama. Utilizing the Tik Tok application as a learning medium to demonstrate drama texts is one way to increase teacher creativity in utilizing the latest learning media in accordance with current developments as well as increasing students' creativity and interest in learning in following the ongoing learning process. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the subject of class VIII students at SMP PAB 8 Sampali. The research results show that 1) the Tik Tok application can be a learning medium to support the learning process, 2) the Tik Tok application as a learning medium demonstrating drama texts gets a positive response from students. The conclusion of this research is that the Tik Tok application is an application that can be used as a learning medium in the learning process and this application also received a positive response from students regarding its use as a learning medium for demonstrating drama texts.

Abstract

The legislative body, which has the right to formulate and make laws, in Indonesia is the House of Representatives (DPR). Whereas in the United States, the legislative body is the Congress, which consists of the Senate and the House of Representatives. This difference in structure shows that there are many major differences between the structures and functions of the two countries, especially in the area of lawmaking. This difference has an impact on the lawmaking process in each country. This article uses a qualitative method with library research techniques to compare the legislative systems of Indonesia and the United States, especially in the institutional structure and lawmaking process. Data was collected from various literatures such as books, scientific journals, laws and regulations, as well as official documents from the legislative institutions of both countries. This article concludes that the Indonesian Parliament and the United States Congress both have the task of making laws.  In Indonesia, bills can be proposed by the government, members of the DPR, or the public. After being discussed and approved by the DPR, the bill is sent to the president for approval. In the United States, the process is more complicated because it involves two institutions: The Senate and the House of Representatives. Both must approve bills before they are submitted to the president. Members of the Indonesian House of Representatives are elected every five years, while members of the US Congress have different terms: senators are elected every six years and members of the House of Representatives every two years. The legislative process in Indonesia is conducted through discussions in committees before being decided in a plenary meeting.   Abstrak: Lembaga legislatif, yang berhak merumuskan dan membuat undang-undang, di Indonesia adalah Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR). Sedangkan di Amerika Serikat, lembaga legislatifnya adalah Kongres, yang terdiri dari Senat dan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat. Perbedaan struktur ini menunjukkan ada banyak perbedaan besar antara struktur dan fungsi dari kedua negara, khususnya pada bidang pembuat undang-undang. Perbedaan ini berdampak pada proses pembuatan undang-undang di setiap negara. Artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik studi kepustakaan (library research) untuk membandingkan sistem legislatif Indonesia dan Amerika Serikat, terutama dalam struktur kelembagaan dan proses pembentukan undang-undang. Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai literatur seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah, peraturan perundang-undangan, serta dokumen resmi dari lembaga legislatif kedua negara. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa DPR Indonesia dan Kongres Amerika Serikat sama-sama memiliki tugas membuat undang-undang. Di Indonesia, Rancangan Undang-Undang (RUU) bisa diajukan oleh pemerintah, anggota DPR, atau masyarakat. Setelah dibahas dan disetujui DPR, RUU dikirim ke presiden untuk disahkan. Di Amerika Serikat, prosesnya lebih rumit karena melibatkan dua lembaga: Senat dan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat. Keduanya harus menyetujui RUU sebelum diajukan ke presiden. Anggota DPR Indonesia dipilih setiap lima tahun, sedangkan anggota Kongres AS memiliki masa jabatan berbeda: senator dipilih setiap enam tahun dan anggota DPR setiap dua tahun. Proses legislasi di Indonesia dilakukan melalui pembahasan di komisi-komisi sebelum diputuskan dalam rapat paripurna

Abstract

This study aims to explore the strategies implemented by Harris Hotel Bandung in an effort to provide excellent service to guests. The background of this study is rooted in the importance of high service quality in the hospitality industry to increase guest satisfaction and loyalty. The method used is a qualitative approach, with data collection through in-depth interviews and direct observation at the hotel. The research results revealed that Harris Hotel Bandung implements various strategies, including regular employee training, utilization of technology to improve service efficiency, and a personal approach in interacting with guests. The hotel also pays special attention to guest feedback to continuously improve the services provided.

Abstract

Bahasa Inggris memiliki peran esensial pada era globalisasi sebagai salah satu kompetensi untuk mengembangkan kepercayaan diri sehingga mampu bersaing di dunia internasional. Mengenalkan kosa kata bahasa Inggris memberikan dampak positif bagi anak usia dini, karena itu diperlukan strategi yang tepat agar kemampuan bahasa Inggris anak usia dini berkembang lebih optimal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah sistematik review. Database elektronik yang digunakan adalah Google Scholar. Pencarian awal didapatkan 15 artikel jurnal kemudian dipilih berdasarkan kriteria eksklusif sehingga didapatkan tujuh artikel jurnal yang diidentifikasi menggunakan teknik. Hasil sistematik review yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa dalam pengenalan kosa kata bahasa Inggris kepada anak usia dini, komunikasi haruslah berjalan baik antara orang tua dengan anak sehingga perkembangan bahasa anak dapat tercapai sesuai pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya. Peranan orang tua juga penting dalam proses pengenalan kosa kata bahasa Inggris di rumah meskipun dalam waktu yang singkat agar kemampuan bahasa Inggris anak semakin berkembang.
