Abstract

This study aims to determine the importance of the type of macroalgae in the estuary of Pinotu Village, Toribulu District, Parigi Moutong Regency. The sampling technique used was the line transect method with a modification of the placement of the plot of 1 x 1 m size. Furthermore, it was analyzed using an Important Value Index formula. The results showed that there were 19 types of macroalgae, consisting of Halimeda opuntia 23.74%, Boergesiana forbesii 7.62%, Chaetomorpha javanica 36.02%, Codium decorticatum 3.29%, Dictyosphaeria cavernosa 2.19%, Dictyota bartayresiana 28 , 14%, Hydroclathrus clathratus 0.31%, Padina australis 50.72%, Sargassum sp. 10.15%, Achantophora specifera 2.59%, Achantophora muscoides 24.22%, Amphiroa fragilissima 18.40%, Eucheuma spinosum 5.93%, Galaxaura rugosa 0.31%, Gracilaria edulis 12.89%, Gracilaria salicornia 17 , 61%, Hypnea asperi 49.92%, Hypnea cervicornis 5.38% and Tricleocarpa fragilis 0.56%.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran dari rumah (BDR) selama pandemi Covid-19 di SMP Negeri Satu Atap Sausu. Pembelajaran dari rumah yang dimaksud adalah pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh siswa di rumah yang dilakukan secara daring dan luring (kunjungan guru ke rumah siswa). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 40 orang. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan dipilih 30 orang. teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi: angket, lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keefektifan pembelajaran dari rumah selama pandemi covid-19 yang dilakukan secara daring adalah 59,17% dan yang dilaksanakan secara luring (kunjungan guru ke rumah siswa) adalah 78,80%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara luring (kunjungan guru ke rumah siswa) lebih efektif dilakukan dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara daring.

Abstract

Mangrove forest is a unique natural ecosystem with high ecological value. The mangrove ecosystem is one of the areas with high productivity due to the presence of litter and litter decomposition occurs and produces detritus. This study aims to describe aquatic biota associated with the remaining stands of mangrove plants in the area of land conversion in Lino Tolonggano Village, South Banawa District, Donggala Regency, so that the surrounding community can be informed about the importance of the existence of mangrove forests. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research, with survey method with purposive sampling technique. The data obtained were analyzed using the association determination formula as well as additional posters that will be used as information material to the public regarding the existence of mangroves in the area of land conversion. The results obtained in this study indicate that the types of mangroves and associated aquatic biota are Sonneratia alba, Rhizophora mucronata and Rhizophora apiculata for the mangrove group and Nerita sp, Telescopium telescopium L, Uca sp and Periophthalmus modestus for the aquatic biota group. Data analysis showed that there were associations between plant species in the form of negative associations. This indicates that the aquatic biota found are not biota that use mangroves as a place to live.

Abstract

Pengisian Beban Kerja Dosen (BKD) melalui aplikasi SISTER diberlakuan oleh Kemenristekdikti dan menjadi kewajiban setiap dosen. Minimnya  wawasan, pengetahuan, dan kemampuan dosen dalam mengisi BKD berbasis SISTER secara mandiri Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan, pengetahuan, dan kemampuan dosen dalam mengisi dan mengupdate data serta melaporkan BKD berbasis SISTER secara mandiri. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian meliputi persiapan dan sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Materi yang diberikan pada kegiatan kegiatan ini adalah pengenalan aplikasi, mengoperasikan aplikasi, mengisi dan mengupdate data serta mengisi BKD menggunakan apalikasi SISTER. Berdasarkan pelaksanaan pengabdian ini diperoleh hasil adalah meningkatnya wawasan, pengetahuan dan kemampuan dosen dalam mengisi dan mengupdate data BKD melalui aplikasi SISTER secara mandiri.

Abstract

Plankton are organisms (animals and plants) that live floating or floating in the water column, their movement is influenced by currents. The role of plankton is very important in aquatic ecosystems, especially phytoplankton which are primary producers. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using purposive sampling method with a field and laboratory survey approach. The purpose of the study was to describe the abundance and diversity of plankton in the waters of the Tasilaha Lagoon. This research was conducted in June – July 2022. The results of the study were 31 types of plankton consisting of 17 types of phytoplankton and 14 types of zooplankton. The abundance of phytoplankton species obtained ranged from 366–5,597 cells/liter and zooplankton 623–5,515 individuals/liter. The value of the phytoplankton diversity index was 2.44–2.55 and the zooplankton ranged from 2.19–2.31.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the STEM Learning Model in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 on students’ critical thinking skills of SMAN 5 Palu. The research method used is quasi-experimental with a population of all students at SMAN 5 Palu as many as 201 students. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, where class XI IPA 3 was the control class and class XI IPA 4 was the experimental class. The data analysis technique used t test with the help of SPSS 16 software for windows. The data collection technique used a description test instrument. The results of data analysis obtained in the experimental class / STEM obtained an average critical thinking score of 72.9 better than the control class / lecture 60.8, and the results of the t-test Tcount Ttable = 6.805 1.997. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the STEM Learning Model on students' critical thinking at SMAN 5 Palu.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan struktur dan komposisi vegetasi mangrove tumbuh secara alami di kawasan perkebunan di Desa Pinotu. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode transek, dengan peletakan nested plot secara purposive berdasarkan pertimbangan tingkat pertumbuhan, yakni plot 1 x 1 m untuk anakan, 5 x 5 m untuk pancang dan 10 x 10 m untuk pohon. Selanjutnya dilakukan perhitungan nilai penting, sehingga diketahui jenis yang bernilai penting rendah yaitu Aegiceras floridum R. & S. 11,7 % pada tingkat anakan, Sonneratia alba J.E. Smith 10,5 % pada tingkat pancang, dan Pongamia pinnata (L.) Pierre 2,8 % pada tingkat pohon. Sementara jenis yang bernilai penting tinggi adalah Avicennia marina (Forsk.) Vierh. 114,8 % pada tingkat anakan, Rhizophora apiculata Bl. 168,4 % pada tingkat pancang dan Avicennia marina (Forsk.) Vierh. 153,9 % pada tingkat pohon. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, diketahui komposisi penyusun vegetasi hutan mangrove terdiri atas 9 jenis yang tergolong dalam 6 suku, yaitu Aegiceras corniculatum (L.) Blanco, Aegiceras floridum R. & S., Pongamia pinnata (L.) Pierre, Sonneratia alba J.E. Smith, Bruguiera gymnorrizha (L.) Lamk., Rhizophora apiculata Bl., Rhizophora mucronata Lmk., Xylocarpus moluccensis (Lamk) Roem. dan Avicennia marina (Forsk.) Vierh.
