Abstract

The Sesaot Nature Tourism Forest Area is a tourist area and an area that is used for the production of several plantation commodities, along with increasing human activities in the Sesaot Nature Tourism Forest area, it raises questions related to the state of its ecosystem, one aspect that reflects the state of the ecosystem, namely the diversity of soil fauna. The sample locations are divided into three paths based on the characteristics of the ecosystem, namely the waterway which is niche points located along the river flow, the middle lane in the form of a path around a forest area filled with large tree stands, and the edge lane which is a path located in the middle of the river around residential areas and rice fields. The purpose of this study was to determine the index of diversity, evenness of species, and species richness of soil fauna in the Sesaot Nature Tourism Forest. Sampling of soil fauna using the pitt fall trap method is placed along 3 predetermined paths. The results showed that in the Sesaot Nature Tourism Forest, there were at least 30 types of soil fauna dominated by the Formicidae family. The highest soil fauna diversity index was found in the waterway with 2.24, followed by the edge lane at 2.22, and the middle lane at 1.13. The evenness value of soil surface fauna species in the Sesaot Nature Tourism Forest in the waterway is 0.66, followed by 0.65 in the edge lane, and 0.33 in the waterway. The highest value of species richness (Margalef index) was found in the waterway with 3.26, followed by the edge and middle lane with 2.69.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to assess the ratio of fruit fly captures using attractants derived from basil and celery extracts, as well as to examine the impact of attractant concentrations in basil and celery leaf extracts on fruit fly catches. Traps made from recycled mineral water bottles were baited with basil and celery extracts containing essential oils known for their attractiveness to fruit flies. The findings indicated that traps using basil extract captured a greater number of fruit flies compared to those with celery extract. Furthermore, varying concentrations of the attractants significantly influenced fruit fly captures. The highest yield of fruit fly captures was observed at a 20% concentration of basil extract. The 20% concentration of basil extract had a higher number of fruit fly captures compared to the 10% and 30% basil extract concentrations, as well as the 10%, 20%, and 30% celery extract concentrations. The study results demonstrated a significant difference in the number of fruit fly captures between basil and celery extracts, with the highest number of captures observed with a 20% concentration of basil extract.

Abstract

Grasshoppers are the main herbivorous insects in the ecosystem, grasshoppers also act as pests, as predators, decomposers of organic matter and carrion eaters. To maintain the ecosystem of rice fields, grasshoppers have a very importants role in maintaining its stability. The research aimed to determine the level of diversity, evenness and dominance of grasshopper species in the rice fields of Kalijaga village. The kinds of this research was done by catching the grasshopper by using sweeping net. The location was taken in five location around Kalijaga such as west, east, north and middle location. The data was taken in nine times repeating for three month. The data was taken in the morning around 08.00-11.00 and afternoon 15.00-17.00 o’clock. The data analysis was used ecology index that include Shanon-Winner (H’), Evennes index (E’) and Simpson domination index (D). Based on data analysis was gotten that (1) there were 1,957 total of diversity index or include medium categories, (2) there were 0,816 the total number of grasshopper species of evenness index or include medium categories (3) there were 0,178 total number domination index of species with low categories.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV SDN 47 Cakranegara. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental design dengan desain nonequevalent control group design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 47 Cakranegara. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV-A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan IV-B sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah jenis sampling jenuh.Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa tes essay. Data keterlaksanaan model problem based learning pada pertemuan I dengan skor 80 kategori baik dan pertemuan ke-II dengan skor 92 kategori sangat baik dan data kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa diuji normalitas dengan metode kolmogorov smirnov kemudian diuji homogenitasnya. Pengujian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh t-hitung sebesar 1.683 sedangkan t-tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% adalah sebesar 1.680.Penjelasan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa t-hitung lebih besar dari t-tabel sehingga dapat disimpulkan Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Selanjutnya, untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dilakukan uji effect size dengan menggunakan rumus effect size yang dimana hasilnya sebesar 0,49 dengan kisaran kriteria yang tergolong sedang berdasarkan pada klasifikasii uji effect size yang artinya model pembelajaran problem based learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Hasil studi PISA yang dirilis oleh OECD menunjukkan Indonesia memiliki masalah serius dibidang IPA. Bahan ajar yang digunakan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Beberapa sekolah masih menggunakan LKPD yang hanya berisi soal kognitif saja sehingga menyebabkan peserta didik menjadi pasif dan merasa bosan. Inovasi pada LKPD sangat dibutuhkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan LKPD saintifik berbabasis komik pada pembelajaran IPA kelas V SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian R&D (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementatiom and Evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V SDN 21 Ampenan. Subjek terdiri dari 5 peserta didik uji coba kelompok kecil dan 30 peserta didik uji coba kelompok besar. Objek penelitian adalah LKPD saintifik berbasis komik pada pembelajaran IPA kelas V. Hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh skor 87.85% dan validator ahli media sebesar 96.92%, masing-masing memperoleh kriteria sangat valid. Penilaian dari pengguna LKPD yaitu dari guru mendapatkan skor 92.63% dan dari peserta didik mendapatkan skor sebesar 88.84% pada uji coba kelompok kecil dan 91.05% pada uji coba kelompok besar, masing-masing memperoleh kategori sangat praktis. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa LKPD saintifik berbasis komik pada pembelajaran IPA kelas V valid dan praktis untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran berbasis permainan edukasi merupakan salah satu media yang amat sangat penting digunakan dalam pembelajaran dikarenakan lebih interaktif dan menarik. Siswa bisa melaksanakan dua kegiatan sekaligus yaitu belajar dan bermain dalam satu waktu. Selain itu, menjadikan siswa lebih aktif di kelas. Kegiatan belajar seperti ini sangat dibutuhkan oleh siswa sekolah dasar.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran monopoli pintar berbasis permainan edukasi pada mata pelajaran IPA Kelas V SD dan telah diuji kelayakan dan kepraktisannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan observasi dan angket. Angket terdiri dari angket validasi media, validasi materi, respon siswa, dan respon guru. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 35 siswa kelas V SDN 31 Cakranegara. Kelayakan media monopoli pintar diukur berdasarkan hasil penilaian validasi media dan validasi materi yang dilakukan pada tahap development. Sedangkan kepraktisan media monopoli pintar diukur berdasarkan hasil respon siswa dan respon guru yang dilakukan pada tahap implementation. Adapun hasil validasi memperoleh persentase 99% untuk validasi media, dan persentase 94% untuk valdasi materi. Hasil uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh persentase 89%, respon siswa kelompok besar memperoleh persentase 92%, dan respon guru memperoleh persentase 90%. Berdasarkan data hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media monopoli pintar berbasis permainan edukasi sangat layak dan sangat praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran IPA Kelas V sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Literasi sains menjadi salah satu keterampilan yang penting untuk dikuasi oleh peserta didik pada abad 21 dikarenakan banyaknya gebrakan baru atau temuan baru yang bermunculan pada abad 21. Namun, berdasarkan survei yang dilakukan oleh Program for International Student Assesment (PISA) pada tahun 2015 dan 2018 menunjukkan bahwa literasi sains Indonesia tergolong masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas V SDN 1 Sukarara. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada pembelajaran semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan yakni analisis deskriptif berupa persentase dan analisis data model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) Siswa dalam kategori tinggi termasuk ke dalam tingkatan literasi sains konseptual (Conceptual Scientific Literacy). (2) Siswa dalam kategori sedang termasuk ke dalam tingkatan literasi sains fungsional (Functional Scientific Literacy). (3) Siswa dalam kategori rendah termasuk ke dalam tingkatan literasi sains nominal (Nominal Scientific Literacy). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas V SDN 1 Sukarara berdasarkan kategori tinggi, sedang, dan rendah berada dalam tiga tingkatan, yakni tingkatan literasi sains konseptual, tingkatan literasi sains fungsional, dan tingkatan literasi sains nominal.

Abstract

Several Odonata studies on Lombok Island still focus on forest and river habitat types. This causes the diversity of this insect group to be unknown in other habitats such as rice fields. This research aims to explore the richness of dragonfly species in the rice field ecosystem of Perian village, Montong Gading subdistrict, East Lombok district. Sample collection was carried out in May – June 2022. Dragonfly searches were carried out in the morning from 08.00 – 12.00, and in the afternoon from 14.00 – 18.00 on two transects determined purposively. The odonata found were documented using a digital camera, and captured using insect nets. Samples that were successfully collected were identified to the species taxon. The total odonata we found were 2 suborders, 5 families and 11 species. The suborder Zygoptera is the group with the highest species richness. For families, Libellulidae and Coenagrionida are the families with the highest species richness compared to other families. Of the 11 species that we found, 1 species is endemic, namely Euphaea lara lombokensis. Compared with the results of previous research conducted in Suranadi and Batu Bolong River, there are 5 species which are new records. The five species are Copera ciliata, Rhinocypha bisignata, Ischnura senegalensis, Ischnura heterosticta, and Brachythemis contaminata. The results of this study indicate that there are more species from the Odonata order on Lombok Island compared to previous reports.

Abstract

Collembola or what is known as springtails are insects that live in the soil, soil surface, leaf litter and litter surfaces. Collembola has an important role in the nutrient cycle, decomposition of organic material and plays a role in soil formation which is important for forest ecosystems. Collembola diversity in the Benang Kelambu Waterfall Natural Tourism Attraction Area, Rinjani Geopark, Lombok Island has never been done. This research aims to determine the diversity and ecological index of Collembola in the Benang Kelambu Waterfall Geopark Rinjani Natural Tourism Attraction Area. The type of research used was Quantitative Descriptive research conducted on 14 July-12 August 2023. Sampling used the Pitfall trap method with two research stations. Samples were taken 4 times over 1 month. The data analysis techniques used include the Sannon-Wienner diversity index (H'), the Evennes evenness index (E) and the Simpson dominance index (Di). The research results obtained 3 sub orders, 7 families, 19 species with 1657 individuals. The results of the analysis show that the Collembola Diversity Index H'=1,89591 is in the medium diversity category, the Evenness Index E=0,6439 is in the medium population evenness category and the Dominance Index Di=0,22118 is in the no dominant species category.
