Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the results of the exploration of ethnomathematics of Sasak culture that can be used as a source of learning mathematics. This type of research is exploratory qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. This research focuses on buildings, crafts, arts, and traditional snacks. The research instrument is the researcher himself. While the method of data collection by interview, field studies, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with triangulation are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that Sasak cultural products can be used as a source of learning mathematics, especially on the elements of geometry including rectangles, triangles, trapezoid, circles, rhombus, laying-kites, cones, cylinders, and pyramid. Learning resources derived from Sasak culture, if properly utilized, will create meaningful mathematics learning for students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara empiris penalaran analogi mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika berdasarkan gaya berpikir. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 32 mahasiswa. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah angket gaya berpikir, soal tes penalaran analogi matematika dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Kemampuan penalaran analogi mahasiswa yang berada pada kategori rendah sebesar 28%, kategori sedang sebesar 56%, dan pada kategori tinggi sebesar 16%. Mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan penalaran analogi tinggi sudah mampu menyelesaikan keempat tahapan penalaran analogi hingga Applying (Apl), mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan sedang hanya mampu sampai ke tahap ketiga yaitu Mapping (Map), sedangkan mahasiswa dengan kemampuan rendah hanya mampu sampai ke tahap Inferring (Inf); 2) Dilihat dari pola gaya berpikir mahasiswa didapatkan hasil pola gaya berpikir Sekuensial Konkret (SK) sebesar 34%, pola gaya berpikir Sekuensial Abstrak (SA) sebesar 28%, Acak Konkret (AA) sebesar 34%, dan Acak Konkret (AK) sebesar 3%. Kemampuan tinggi rendahnya penalaran analogi tidak dipengaruhi oleh pola gaya berpikir tertentu, sehingga tidak ada kecenderungan suatu gaya berpikir yang lebih tinggi dalam hasil penalaran analoginya.

Abstract

Reviewing scientific articles published in journals is a competency needed by students to improve their writing skills. As a form of implementation of Higher Education Tri Dharma in the field of education, lecturers are responsible for training students to review articles. To provide optimal learning facilities, information is needed related to student difficulties in reviewing articles in journals. This study aims to diagnose the difficulties of undergraduate students at PGSD FKIP Mataram University in reviewing scientific articles in journals. The study was conducted on S1 students of PGSD FKIP Mataram University who programed Quantitative Research Methods courses. The research subject of 36 students was determined using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done by assigning students to review 1 scientific article published by a SINTA accredited journal. The results of the review by students were analyzed descriptively to determine the location of student difficulties. The results showed that the largest proportion of student difficulties lies in the research method (86.11%), then the research problem (44.44%), and the smallest proportion is the research result (5.56%). Information from the results of this study can be used as a reference for providing learning facilities to improve student review skills. This skill can help students in completing theses which have been a problem for many undergraduate students at PGSD FKIP Mataram University.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of Moodle-based e-learning which is used as a learning medium in terms of student understanding. This type of research is quantitative quasi-experimental research with a one group pretest posttest design. The population of this study was 2nd-semester students. The sample of this research was 36 students who were taken based on cluster random sampling technique. This research instrument uses math test questions that can be accessed through e-learning. The data analysis techniques were normality test as a prerequisite test, test for the difference in average pretest and posttest, test for the increase in the pretest and posttest results (N-Gain), and finally the effect size test. The results showed that the pretest data were not normally distributed, while the posttest data were normally distributed so that nonparametric statistical tests were carried out. The nonparametric statistical test used is the Wilcoxon test where the results show a sig score. (0.00) <0.05, which means that there is a difference between the average pretest and posttest scores. Furthermore, the n-gain test was carried out with a score of 0.53 which was in the medium category. This means that the pretest and posttest scores have a moderate level of improvement. And the last test results with the effect size test with a score of d = 1.47 which is in the strong effect category. This means that Moodle-based e-learning has a strong effect on students' understanding of mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Interactive student worksheets are a very important part of learning media to support the learning process to achieve the expected goals. The use of the liveworksheets site is one way to develop interactive worksheets so that online learning can run well. The purpose of this community service is to provide knowledge to teachers to take advantage of the free liveworksheets site to develop interactive worksheets so that the obstacles to teaching and learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic can be overcome. The method of implementing this service begins with observations to partner schools before the implementation of training activities to discuss the time and need for facilities and infrastructure. Then during the training, the activity begins with the provision of material related to interactive student worksheets and how to create interactive student worksheets using the live worksheet site. Furthermore, assistance is provided during practice for teachers or training participants. The results of this service can be said to be successful, as seen from the enthusiasm of the teacher listening to the material and the practice of making interactive worksheets questions. The types of questions that were successfully practiced by the participants were the types of multiple-choice questions, short entries, descriptions, join arrows, dropdowns, drag and drop, checkboxes, word search, and listening and speaking questions. Therefore, with the increasing ability of teachers to create interactive worksheets, it is hoped that teachers can develop more perfect interactive worksheets that are made according to the needs of students. In addition, the knowledge that has been obtained from this training is expected for teachers to share their knowledge and knowledge with other teachers.

Abstract

Membaca bagi mahasiswa tidak hanya sekedar kewajiban tetapi juga kebutuhan. Melalui membaca samudera pengetahuan yang luas dapat dijelajahi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis indeks minat baca mahasiswa baru program studi PGSD Universitas Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan mixed method. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa baru dengan jumlah 342 mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner, wawancara terbuka, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat baca mahasiswa termasuk dalam kategori rendah dengan indikator intensitas membaca rendah, tingkat kunjungan ke perpustakaan rendah dan minat meminjam buku juga rendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar dalam menanggapi proses perkuliahan dengan metode daring selama masa COVID-19. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dimana sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 91 mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Mataram. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara online dan angket yang disusun menggunakan google form. Hasil penelitian tentang persepsi mahasiswa ini dibagi menjadi tiga komponen utama yaitu interaksi mahasiswa, suasana belajar, dan materi ajar. Persepsi mahasiswa mengenai interaksi mahasiswa, baik dengan dosen maupun sesama mahasiswa ketika perkuliahan daring berkurang dibanding dengan perkuliahan secara tatap muka. Sedangkan dalam suasana belajar, mahasiswa lebih menyukai pembelajaran secara tatap muka dibandingkan dengan daring. Hal ini dikarenakan mahasiswa lebih leluasa bertanya ketika bertemu secara langsung dengan dosen. Kemudian pada materi ajar, mahasiswa lebih giat mencari materi sendiri untuk menambah pengetahuan karena ketika perkuliahan mahasiswa banyak yang kurang memahami apa yang disampaikan dosen. Walaupun banyak kekurangan perkuliahan secara daring, ada juga kelebihan yang didapatkan yaitu mahasiswa lebih mandiri dalam belajar dan mencari sumber.

Abstract

AbstractThis study is intended to discuss the relationship between reading interest and student achievement in introductory courses in the academic year 2019-2020. The population in this study was the first semester of the University of Mataram University PGSD students with a total of 342 students. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, while the hypothesis testing is done by testing. Data collection uses questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. PGSD is included in the very high category of 0.97%, high of 26.21, moderate of 46.60%, low of 25.24% and very low of 0.97%. Student achievement in the category of very high at 0.97%, high 10.68%, moderate 41.75%, low 37.86% and very low at 8.74%. 41.75%. Based on the hypothesis test> R-value calculated from the R table; sig <α (0,932> 0,195; 0,000 <0,05) which means a significant and positive relationship between reading interest and student achievement Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara minat baca dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah pengantar pendidikan tahun akademik 2019-2020. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Universitas Mataram semester 1 dengan jumlah 342 mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, sedangkan uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji korelasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa minat baca mahasiswa PGSD yang masuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi 0.97%, tinggi 26.21, sedang 46.60%, rendah 25.24% dan sangat rendah 0.97%. Prestasi belajar mahasiswa yang masuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi sebesar 0.97%, tinggi 10.68%, sedang 41.75%, rendah 37.86% dan sangat rendah sebesar 8.74%. 41.75%. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai R hitung > dari R tabel ; sig < α (0.932 > 0.195 ; 0.000 < 0.05) yang berarti bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dan positif antara minat baca dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

Abstract: The learning styles of each student are different, and ADHD children are no exception. The purpose of this study is to explain the types of learning styles that ADHD children have. Qualitative research design. Data collection uses surveys. ADHD student research subject at MI NW Tanak Beak. This location was chosen because it has quite a lot of ADHD students. The instruments used were questionnaire, observation guide and interview guide. The main problems that will be examined in this study are how the learning styles that ADHD students have, and how the learning methods are carried out by the teacher. Findings in this study 81% of students have a kinesthetic learning style, 14% a visual learning style, and 5% an auditory learning style. The teacher designs learning into practical learning, observation and outdoor learning. Abstrak: Gaya belajar tiap siswa berbeda, tidak terkecuali dengan anak ADHD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan jenis gaya belajar yang dimiliki anak ADHD. Desain penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan survei. Subjek penelitian siswa ADHD di MI NW Tanak Beak. Lokasi ini dipilih karena memiliki siswa berkategori ADHD cukup banyak. Instrument yang digunakan berupa angket, panduan observasi dan panduan wawancara. Permasalahan utama yang akan dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana gaya belajar yang dimiliki siswa ADHD, dan bagaimana metode pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru. Temuan dalam penelitian ini 81% siswa memiliki gaya belajar kinestetik, 14% gaya belajar visual, dan 5% gaya belajar auditori. Abstract

This study aims to describe the readiness of elementary school teachers and identify the obstacles faced by teachers in teaching basic literacy skills during the COVID-19 pandemic in 4 (four) areas in Central Lombok Regency. The areas studied are Selebung Village, Batukliang District, Setiling Village, North Batukliang District, Darek Village, Southwest Praya District, and Kuta Village, Pujut District, all of which are located in Central Lombok Regency, NTB. This study is qualitative research in which data were obtained from interviews with elementary school teachers in 4 (four) areas in Central Lombok. The data obtained were then described and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that educators or teachers experienced several obstacles in teaching basic literacy skills in elementary schools in Central Lombok during the pandemic. The obstacles faced by these educators include limited learning media and teaching materials, ineffective learning time, and a less supportive learning atmosphere, many educators are bothered by many other activities, it is difficult to motivate students to learn, as well as from the realm of evaluation, educators have limitations in providing instruments or tools for evaluating learning outcomes, especially basic literacy skills.
