Abstract

Currently, the information system for the inventory of goods at SMK Negeri 1 Air Gegas, which is mainly in the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) in the warehouse section, is still manual, for example recording incoming goods, outgoing goods and calculating stock of goods. Often the officers at the goods custodians have difficulty in collecting data on these goods and make them ineffective. The purpose of developing an inventory information system with barcodes at SMK Negeri 1 Airgegas is expected to be able to improve and make it easier for goods managers, making it easier for report makers. The method used is prototyping, data collection techniques, observation and interviews. In problem analysis at SMK Negeri 1 Airgegas for data collection, goods are still manual, the solution must be computerized. Based on the conclusion that the analysis of the results of the respondents strongly agree with the application made.

Abstract

Measurement of water turbidity, water pH, and water temperature as well as pond water replacement systems are still done manually, making it difficult for catfish farmers to monitor catfish ponds on a regular basis. Therefore, it is necessary to make a control device for measu ring water turbidity, water pH, and water temperature that can be done automatically and can be monitored via a smartphone. Water quality will be monitored in real time so that the water quality of catfish cultivation is in accordance with catfish culture standards. A good standard of turbidity for catfish 0 -50 NTU, pH 6.5 – 8 and the optimum water temperature for catfish rearing is 25°C - 30°C. The methodology used is the design and manufacture of hardware and software. The hardware used is arduino uno with input turbidity sensor, pH sensor, temperature sensor placed in the pool and ultrasonic sensor in the pool placed at a height of 46cm from the bottom of the pool and ultrasonic sensor placement in the reservoir at a height of 35cm from the bottom of the reservoir. Fish ponds are made using tarpaulins with size D=80cm, T=60cm. To fill the reservoir using a water pump, while the water source uses a 200L drum and drains the pool water using a solenoid valve. The test was carried out by giving the pond a pH of 4.01 -9.18, turbidity 27 -100 NTU, and a temperature of 26 -55⁰C. The test results are recorded in the test table. From the test results, it can be concluded that this tool can measure water turbidity, water pH, and water temperature with a success percentage of 90% and monitoring data on smartphones has a 100% success percentage so that this tool can be used by catfish farmers.

Abstract

The fishing pond business is currently a trend, so good management is needed. One important aspect is the existence of an information system for the schedule and duration of fishing time. An IoT-based information system is a device that is used as an information delivery media. This information system uses IoT-based wireless communication which is controlled by via Android. The purpose of this research is to design and develop an information system that is integrated with Android in this fishing pond business so that the delivery of information is more efficient. The methodology in this research used primary data collection and literature study. Hardware manufacture is done by selecting the type and color of the Dot Matrix. Software development is carried out using the Arduino Uno microcontroller and the PA 2022 application as a data control system. The result of this research is an information system that is efficient and easy to operate and has an accurate fishing duration. This information system is the result of the development of an existing information system.

Abstract

At this time the safety system of the safe is the most important thing in our daily lives, both individuals or groups often need protection against security in order to maintain interests in something that is considered important to be guarded. With the passage of time, the development of this technology is getting faster and trying to answer human needs. With today's technology, all human needs are very relative and can be the first layer that protects the contents of the room, that's why a safe must be equipped with security devices that are very easy to use. One example of how to increase a security factor is a safe tool that must utilize Arduino Uno technology as a microcontroller. In this safe security system using a fingerprint sensor and buzzer, this can help users in securing their valuables.

Abstract

This research leads to monitor condition of cleanliness and suitability of clean water is very important to support human life daily. Clean water will make us feel safe and comfortable when using it. There are several particles and materials contained in water, even in the clean water category. Several parameters that are often measured as benchmarks for the level of water cleanliness include the acidity level of the water (pH level), the number of particles or substances in the form of organic and non-organic compounds in the water or often called TDS (Total Dissolve Solid) and the level of water turbidity or often called turbidity. In this research, monitoring will be carried out on water located on the coast, for example brackish water, on the levels of these three water parameters so that the water can be categorized as suitable for use at least for MCK (Bathing Washing Toilet) for people who use this water. In this research, a filter method was used to purify water using palm fiber, silica sand, zeolite stone and activated charcoal. Several test results carried out showed an increase in the acidity level of the water from 6.4 NTU to 6.78 NTU, a decrease in the level of impurities in the water or TDS from 1180 ppm to 1104 ppm and a decrease in the level of water turbidity or turbidity from 3.2 to 1.16. The test data shows that the filter can work quite well even though the decrease that occurs is not very significant, especially in the TDS level value and this value can be monitored well on the LCD or on the smartphone application.

Abstract

Vehicle license plate detection is a system used to automatically recognize and identify license plates on passing vehicles. This system is useful to assist in managing traffic, reducing crime, and increasing the efficiency of the transportation system. However, in its implementation, license plate detection often encounters difficulties due to variations in shape, color, and lighting conditions. In addition, vehicle license plates are also cut off or distorted in digital images, which can complicate the detection process. To solve these problems, an effective method is needed to identify objects from digital images. This study aims to evaluate and compare the performance of two popular algorithms used for vehicle license plate detection, namely YOLO (You only look once) and RCNN (Region Convolutional Neural network). The performance evaluation of the two algorithms uses the same dataset so that their accuracy can be compared. The results showed that the YOLOv4 algorithm has a higher level of detection accuracy than RCNN with an accuracy of 96% and 87,8%, respectively. Based on these results it can be concluded that YOLOv4 is more suitable for use in vehicle license plate detection applications with prioritized speeds.

Abstract

The application of hydroponics in the agricultural sector is very effective for maximizing limited land in urban environments (urban farming). This one farming system requires extra supervision to get quality crop yields. One aspect to which farmers must pay attention is monitoring the water level in the tank so that the water discharge needed by hydroponic plants is properly fulfilled. In order to provide convenience to farmers in carrying out this monitoring, this research is designed to monitor the water level of the tank based on a website. The use of ultrasonic sensors in this study is as a distance sensor. Sensor data that has been obtained from the ultrasonic sensor is then processed by the Arduino Uno and sent to the NodeMCU ESP8266 to be sent to a database that is connected via the internet network so that it can be used by users anywhere and anytime through websites connected to the internet. The level of accuracy of the data on the website is 100% according to the reading results from the Arduino IDE application and a ruler as a comparison measure.

Abstract

The android-based Bangka Belitung tourism information system is used to make it easier for tourists in Bangka Belitung and those from outside, to obtain information about tourism, cultural customs, souvenirs, and culinary delights available in Bangka Belitung. This android application is made using the waterfall method which consists of several stages, namely requirements analysis, system design, programming, testing, and implementation. This application will display detailed information on tours, cultural customs, souvenirs, and culinary delights in Bangka Belitung. Based on the results of black box testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) by conducting questionnaires to 10 users, the percentage results are 89%. Therefore, the authors developed a Bangka Belitung tourism information system using Android Studio and PhpMyAdmin as MySQL database management. With this Android application, it can make it easier for local tourists and tourists from outside Bangka Belitung to find information about tourism in Bangka Belitung.

Abstract

Human life today is very dependent on electrical energy. In almost everyday life, people need electricity, whether in offices, households, education, industry, and others. Excessive use of electricity can cause waste both in terms of costs and energy itself. Careful monitoring is needed to find out how much electrical power is used in electronic equipment. The important thing for users to pay attention to is monitoring electrical power consumption so that the use of electronic equipment remains within the time and cost limits that have been previously set. Therefore, the aim of this research is to make it easier for users to carry out this monitoring through a website-based system. Data from the PZEM-004T sensor is processed by the ESP32 microcontroller, then sent to the database via the internet network. In this way, this information can be accessed by users anytime and anywhere via websites connected to the internet. The level of data accuracy on the website reaches 100%, according to the reading results from ESP32 and Power Quality Analyzer as a comparison.

Abstract

Indonesia is a tropical country that generally faces the risk of widespread mosquito distribution in each of its regions. With the abudance of mosquito distribution, the spread of mosquito larvae will also increase. As a result, mosquito larvae fins suitable places to breed in hard-to-reach areas. Therefore, a tool is needed to monitor these mosquito larvae when they are in water reservoir or containers that are difficult to access. The method used in this final project is You Only Look Once (YOLO). Based on the system can perform detection but is not yet working optimally. The system can detect well in places with bright light intensity or not too dark. The test result of this system show that it can detect many mosquito larvae at once. The accuracy results obtained from testing range from 51% - 89%.
