Abstract

ARUM PIDIE RIDHASMARA. The aim of the study was to examine the effect of different forage and concentrate balances on crude fat digestibility and BETN in vitro. Experimental research using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 6 replicates. The treatments consisted of P1: 30% forage + 70% concentrate + 0.01 organic chromium; P2: 50% forage + 50% concentrate + 0.01 organic chromium; P3: 70% forage + 30% concentrate + 0.01 organic chromium. The results of the analysis showed that the digestibility of crude fat in P1 (30% forage and 70% concentrate) with P2 (50% forage and 50% concentrate) was not significantly different compared to P3 (70% forage and 30% concentrate) but P1 with P3 showed a significant difference (P <0.05). The analysis showed that BETN digestibility in P1 (30% forage and 70% concentrate) with P2 (50% forage and 50% concentrate) showed no significant difference. P2 with P3 (70% forage and 30% concentrate) showed a significant difference (P<0.01), while P1 with P3 showed a very significant difference (P<0.01). In conclusion, the test results proved that every decrease, the digestibility value of crude fat will increase and the BETN digestibility value of material will be smaller

Abstract

Background. This study aims was to evaluate the effect of using various forms of tea waste fermented by EM4 on the on dry matter and oraganic matter intake in male quails. Materials and methods. The material used were 100 male quails aged 4 weeks. The experiment was conducted by using in vivoexperiment method and using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatment and 5 repetitions. The treatment were consisted of R0 = quail feed ascontrol feed; R1 = quail feed + fermented tea waste powders as much as 2%; R2 = quail feed + fermented tea waste granules as much as 2%; R3 = quail feed +fermented tea waste leafs as much as 2%. Variables were observed dry matter intake and organic matter intake. Results.The average values of dry matterintake from R0 was 14,60 gram/head/day; R1 was 14,24 gram/head/day; R2 was 14,60 gram/head/day; and R3 was 14,26 gram/head/day (P>0,05). Theaverage values of organic matter intake from R0 was 12,55 gram/head/day; R1 was 12,23 gram/head/day; R2 was 12,54 gram/head/day; and R3 was 12,25gram/head/day (P>0,05). Conclusion. The conclusion of this research was the supplementation of the various forms of tea waste fermented by EM4 on the male quail feed had not increased dry matter intake and organic matter intake yet.

Abstract

Latar Belakang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan fermeherbafit enkapsulasi dalam pakan terhadap bobot dan persentase organ asesoris ayam broiler. Materi dan Metode. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 80 ekor DOC ayam broiler strain Multi Breeder (MB) 202 Platinum yang dipelihara sampai umur 35 hari. Percobaan dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental in vivo dan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Rancangan terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali dengan masing-masing ulangan terdiri dari 4 ekor ayam. Perlakuan terdiri dari R0 = pakan basal/kontrol 0% fermeherbafit enkapsulasi; R1 = penggunaan 1,5% fermeherbafit nonenkapsulasi, R2 = penggunaan 1,5% fermeherbafit enkapsulasi, R3 = penggunaan 3,0% fermeherbafit enkapsulasi, dan R4 = penggunaan 4,5% fermeherbafit enkapsulasi dalam pakan. Parameter yang diamati adalah bobot dan persentase organ hati dan empedu. Hasil. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan fermeherbafit enkapsulasi dalam pakan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap bobot dan persentase hati serta empedu, tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot dan persentase limpa dan pankreas. Uji lanjut BNJ terhadap bobot hati menunjukkan bahwa R1 berbeda nyata dengan R4, dan pada persentase hati menunjukkan bahwa R2 berbeda nyata dengan R3. Uji BNJ pada bobot dan persentase empedu menunjukkan bahwa R0 berbeda nyata dengan R4. Simpulan. Penggunaan fermeherbafit enkapsulasi dalam pakan ayam broiler yang terbaik adalah pada level 4,5% karena dapat meningkatkan meningkatkan bobot hati sebesar 9,37%, meningkatkan persentase hati sebesar 0,11%, meningkatkan bobot empedu sebesar 144,4% dan meningkatkan persentase empedu sebesar 122,9%.

Abstract

Latar Belakang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan kulit singkong yang kaya karbohidrat untuk pakan domba Wonosobo. Materi dan Metode. Ternak domba yang digunakan sebanyak dua puluh ekor masing-masing sepuluh ekor dari jenis lokal dan domba Wonosobo. Pakan terdiri dari hijauan (60%) dan konsentrat (40%). Konsentrat A: kulit singkong (55%), bungkil kelapa (45%) dan mineral sedang konsentrat B: dedak padi (80%) dan bungkil kelapa (20%) dan mineral. Pakan sebanyak 4% bobot badan (BK). Pakan mengandung PK 14,95-16,10% dan TDN 16-16,10%. Rancangan percobaan dengan RAL pola tersarang, perlakuan pakan tersarang pada jenis domba. Setiap perlakuan diulang 5 kali. Hasil. Perlakuan konsentrat A berpengaruh pada rataan pertambahan bobot badan (PBB), pertambahan bobot badan harian (pbbh) dan bobot akhir (BB) berturut-turut sebesar 5,61kg; 95,58g; 27,08kg pada domba lokal dan 5,46kg; 94,24g; 30,40kg pada domba Wonosobo. Perlakuan konsentrat B berpengaruh terhadap PBB; pbbh dan BB sebesar 5,0kg; 75,16g; 24,30kg pada domba lokal dan 5,5kg; 109,90g; 29,83kg pada domba Wonosobo (P>0,05). PBB, pbbh dan BB domba lokal adalah 5,31kg; 65,37g; 25,69kg sedang pada domba Wonosobo adalah 5,45kg; 101,9g; 29,83kg (P>0,05). Kesimpulan. Kulit singkong dapat menggantikan dedak dalam konsentrat domba lokal maupun domba Wonosobo dan tidak berpengaruh pada PBB, pbbh dan BB (P>0.05)
