The industry studied includes small scale and household-handicraft industry. The research meth¬odology used consists of: (1) literature study, (2) field survey, and (3) focus group discussion (FGD).The conclusion of this research shows that the problem and dynamic faced by small scale and household handicraft industries have similarities and differences among different kind or group of industries. The major similarity is the problem of increasing input prices that force them to raise their products price. Another similarity is the decreasing quantity of output and employment. The differences depend on the kind and feature of each small scale and household handicraft industry. Some say that their major problem is the raw material supply, and some say that their major problem is their competitiveness in market. Nevertheless, some small scale and household handicraft industries say that their major problem is the marketing of their product and also the availability of skilled labor. Keywords: small scale industry, dynamic, production, employment.

There are many factors that influence economic situation in a country. One of it is an economic policy. The question is how is the impact of an economic policy on economic situation? Some economists believe that in order to answer the question the most significant tool we can use is what we call Applied Computable General Equilibrium Model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the amount of loss of tax revenues experienced by Indonesia due to underground economic activities. Using secondary time series data from Q-1 2010 to Q-4 2022 with an analytical method that uses a monetary approach, namely the regression equation for the demand for currency with the Error Correction Models (ECM) model. In the classical assumption test conducted, the data in this study were normally distributed in the normality test, there was no multicollinearity, no heteroscedasticity, and no autocorrelation. The hypothesis of this study is that there is an allegation that the variables GDP, interest rates, financial innovation, bank developments, and tax burdens affect the demand for currency in society. The results of this study are that the GDP, interest rate, and tax burden variables have a significant effect on the demand for currency with an average assessment of the underground economy (UGE) activity variable reaching IDR 79,936 billion and the value of tax losses experienced by the state amounting to IDR 16,776 billion every year.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a study of novice entrepreneurs in Yogyakarta. This study analyzes the amount of capital, the number of employees, the length of time running the business, the age of the entrepreneur, education (graduated from bachelor's degree or high school), and whether the business is a legal entity or not. This study used 335 novice entrepreneurs who filled out a questionnaire followed by in-depth interviews with ten willing novice entrepreneurs. Focus group discussions were also conducted with related sources. The analytical tools used in this research are descriptive analysis and ordinary least squares (OLS). The results showed that the amount of capital and the number of employees affected sales or business income, but the variables of business length, entrepreneurial age, and level of education had no significant effect on sales or business income. In general, the results of this study indicate that there are still various problems in running a business, especially regarding the problem of product marketing and social capital owned by novice entrepreneurs in Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact and factors influencing Indonesian CPO exports to six main destination countries from 2000 to 2021. The variables analyzed include real GDP per capita in the destination countries, inflation rates in these countries, and international CPO prices over the same period. The analysis employs a Random Effect Model (REM) processed using Eviews-10. The urgency of this study is to evaluate the circumstances of the EU's deforestation law by examining the contribution of Indonesian CPO exports. The results indicate that real GDP per capita, inflation, and international CPO prices significantly affect the export value of CPO to these six countries during 2000-2021.

Abstract

One of the characteristics of the Indonesian nation is cooperation one of the differentiating factors that play an important role in the resilience of the national economy which is based on unity and diversity (Pancasila) to continue to grow. Economic recovery and an increase in the growth trend of cooperatives are signals and momentum for utilizing cooperatives as an alternative route for national economic recovery. The background of this paper aims to map the potential and obstacles faced by cooperatives to support national economic recovery and offer applicable recommendations for policymakers in economic recovery schemes that are more inclusive and adaptive to dynamics using qualitative descriptive methods and literature study. This research provides recommendations on an applied basis, which is the establishment of a centralized authority that handles cooperatives in an integrated cooperative called Indonesia Crowdfunding Cooperatives (IC Coop) to integrate the development of the national cooperative system starting from the licensing (legal), operation (operation), supervision (supervision) stages, mentoring, and upgrading cooperatives in supporting the national economy based on Sapta Tantra by becoming a cooperative as an integrated community for an integrated economy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of the monetary policy transmission mechanism on the interest rate channel and asset prices in Indonesia in achieving the ultimate goal of price stability throughout the period 2002:Q1 – 2020:Q4. This study uses secondary data related to policy interest rate variables, operational target interest rates, information variables, and final target variables for each channel of the monetary policy transmission mechanism. The analytical tool used in this research is the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) which is processed using statistical software Eviews 10. The results of the analysis on the monetary policy transmission mechanism model of the interest rate channel indicate that in the short term, investment lending variables have a negative and significant effect on The CPI, meanwhile, the investment credit interest rate variable has a negative and significant effect. The results of the long-term analysis of the monetary policy transmission mechanism model of the interest rate channel show that the interest rate for investment credit, consumption credit, and the BI7DRR interest rate have a positive and significant effect on the CPI, while the variables for consumption credit interest rates, investment credit distribution, and real GDP negative and significant effect on the CPI. The results of the VECM analysis for the monetary policy transmission mechanism model for asset price channels confirm that the positive Error Correction Term (ECT) coefficient indicates that there is no adjustment mechanism towards long-term equilibrium. The results of the classical assumption test for the monetary policy transmission mechanism model of asset price channels also confirm deviations in the assumptions of normality and heteroscedasticity. Therefore, the economic interpretation of the VECM estimation on the monetary policy transmission mechanism model of the asset price channel cannot be carried out and requires the use of other analytical tools to produce a valid model .

Abstract

This research aims to conduct a valuation analysis of the economic impact of air pollution that occurs in DKI Jakarta Province. By using mapping from satellite imagery and the 2016 Input-Output table which was iterated using the RAS Partial Survey method to become the 2023 Input-Output table. From the results of research that uses the impact (shock) of the implementation of the weak complimentary which is reflected through the environmental adjustment tax (EAT) The results showed that air pollution in DKI Jakarta Province contributed negatively to the economy amounting to IDR 8,981,659,208,407,380.00. Based on the results of the income and output multiplier analysis, various results were obtained, but the extractive sector was better able to operate without weak complimentary and the results of linkage and mapping proved that the Wholesale and Retail Trade sectors; Car and Motorcycle Repair; Transportation and Warehousing; and Government Administration, Defense and Social Security must contribute maximally to air pollution in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta and South Jakarta. The recommendation from this research is the need for policy synergy between the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, the business world, academics, media and community leaders by creating a 3P (People, Planet, Profit) Jakarta Plan to solve pollution and environmental problems in DKI Jakarta Province

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the impact of downstream nickel commodity policies on the economy in North Maluku Province. Secondary data in this study also uses data on mining companies and industrial processing in North Maluku Province from the Mining and Energy Service of North Maluku Province, as data on nickel commodity resources and reserves in Indonesia. The analytical tools used are backward and forward linkage analysis; analysis of the I-O table, and the RAS method then iterates over the I-O table. Furthermore, four scenarios are used to view—the dynamic atmosphere of policy. Based on the results of this analysis, the results of scenario four, namely 10 percent of nickel reserves into an electric car downstream ecosystem and 20 percent produced into EV Batteries, are policy scenarios that the Government can see because they have a positive impact on the regional economy in North Maluku Province
