Abstract

This research aims to: 1) know the role of academic supervisor of Educational Economy major to enhance student’s learning achievement, 2) to find out the time duration the academic supervisors take to do the counseling, 3) to find out the problems in counseling.This research uses descriptive qualitative method and the embedded case study. The data come from informants, the research locations and documents. The research uses the purposive sampling technique. The data collection is done with interviews, observations and document analysis. The data validation uses data triangulation pattern and the resource. The data analysis is conducted with interactive analysis pattern technique.The results of the research conclude that: 1) the academic supervisor functions as the information resources, the one to accommodate, listen the problems of the students, help the students to resolve the problems, give suggestions and monitor the learning activities of his/her students, 2) the counseling is done at: the beginning of the semester, the middle semester and the end of semester, 3) problems to conduct counseling come from both the academic supervisors and the students

Abstract

Abstract: This study describe to investigate : (1) the implementation of the program of On The Job Training to prepare the students of State Vocational High School 6 of Surakarta to enter the world of work; (2) the constraints encountered in the implementation the program of On The Job Training at State Vocational High School 6 of Surakarta; and (3) efforts taken to cope with the constraints in the implementation of the program of On The Job Training at State Vocational High School 6 of Surakarta. This research used the descriptive qualitative research method. The results of the research are as follows: (1) the implementation of the program of On The Job Training at State Vocational High School 6 of Surakarta has been in compliance with the prevailing procedures an can prepare its students majoring in the Office Administration particularly in the expertise competencies in terms of hard skills and soft skills to enter the world of work; (2) the constraints encountered in the implementation of the program are as follows: the students are not mentally ready to follow the program of On The Job Training, the advising teachers have a low frequency to visit the world of business and industry, (c) not all of the competencies can be done by the students, the theories accepted by the students in the class do not conform to the work practicum in the world of business and industry; and (3) the efforts taken to deal with the constraints are as follows: motivating the students, warning the advising teachers, implementing the rolling system at the work department, the advisors of the institutions give guidance to the students.   Keywords: implementation, the program of On The Job Training, students

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate: (1) the leadership role of the headmaster in growing the discipline of the teachers and the administrative staff members of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta; (2) the obstacles in the leadership role of the headmaster in growing the discipline of the teachers and the administrative staff members of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta; (3) the solution from the role of the headmaster to overcome the obstacles which emerge in actualizing the discipline of the teachers and the administrative staff members of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta. This research used the descriptive qualitative method and the embedded single research strategy. The population of this research was the headmaster, the teachers,  the administrative staff members, and  the students of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta. The samples of this research were taken by using the purposive sampling technique. The data of this research were gathered through interview, observation, document analysis from informants, places, events, documents, and files. The data were then analyzed by using the interactive analysis technique. The results of this research are as follows: (1) the leadership role of the headmaster of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta was done through the activities of discipline building, such as: (a) giving motivation to the teachers and the administrative staff members; (b) giving the leadership role model by having discipline; (c) making efforts in paying attention to the welfare of the teachers and the administrative staff members; and (d) implementing discipline enforcement; (2) the obstacles which emerge in building discipline in SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta are as follows: (a) the internal obstacles, such as: the characters of personality of some teachers and administrative staff members which are difficult to accept advice and less responsible in doing their job and tasks; and (b) the external obstacles which emerge in building the discipline of the teachers and the administrative staff members of SMK Negeri 1 of Surakarta; and (3) the solutions to overcome the obstacles are as follows: (a) enforcing the rule and making discipline development; and (b) intesifying the shared activities with the teachers and the administrative staff members.Keywords: principal's leadership role, Teacher and Employee Discipline

Abstract

Kegiatan   pengabdian   ini   bertujuan   untuk   meningkatkan   pengetahuan dan keterampilan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi guru SMK Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis.  Lokasi pelaksanaan program pengabdian berada di Kota Surakarta.  Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian dimulai dari tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu telah terlaksana pelatihan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi bagi guru SMK MPLB Kota Surakarta. Setelah menjalani pelatihan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, pemahaman peserta mengenai pembelajaran berdiferensiasi mengalami peningkatan dibuktikan dengan hasil pretes maupun posttest yang meningkat. Peserta juga telah memiliki pengalaman dalam mempraktikkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sehingga nantinya dapat menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi di sekolah masing – masing. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan pengabdian  ini  telah  berhasil  mencapai tujuannya  untuk   meningkatkan  pengetahuan maupun keterampilan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi

Abstract

Bawang putih (Allium sativum L.) merupakan komoditas hortikultura yang memiliki potensi ekonomi tinggi. Pada tahun 2023 produksi bawang putih di Indonesia mencapai 39.254 ton sedangkan kebutuhan bawang putih dalam negeri mencapai 554 ribu ton. Berdasarkan hal tersebut diperlukan upaya peningkatan produktivitas salah satunya dengan mengaplikasikan ZPT asam giberelin GA3. Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah Kelompok Tani Maju Dukuh Pancot, Desa Kalisoro, Kecamatan Tawangmangu, Karanganyar. Kelompok Tani Maju merupakan kelompok tani yang berfokus sebagai sentra pengembangan bahan tanam dan produksi bawang putih Varietas Tawangmangu Baru. Metode yang digunakan adalah kaji tindak dengan tahapan koordinasi kegiatan, perencanaan aksi, pelaksanaan dan pengumpulan data, kemudian monitoring dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan data yang telah diperoleh penggunaan GA3 mampu meningkatkan hasil bawang putih pada tinggi tanaman, bobot segar brangkasan per rumpun, bobot kering brangkasan per rumpun, diameter umbi, jumlah umbi, bobot segar umbi, dan bobot kering umbi sehingga penggunaan GA3 layak untuk diaplikasikan lebih lanjut oleh petani.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kepemimpinan Sekolah dan Kualitas Layanan Sekolah Dasar: Sebuah Analisis Empiris Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan spiritual, visioner, dan pembelajaran terhadap kualitas layanan sekolah dasar. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), penelitian ini melibatkan 214 kepala sekolah dari berbagai wilayah di Indonesia. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ketiga jenis kepemimpinan tersebut memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas layanan sekolah. Selain itu, kepemimpinan spiritual berperan sebagai faktor yang memperkuat kepemimpinan visioner dan pembelajaran, yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan kualitas layanan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi ketiga dimensi kepemimpinan dalam meningkatkan mutu layanan pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, direkomendasikan adanya pelatihan kepemimpinan bagi kepala sekolah untuk mengembangkan kemampuan visioner, spiritual, dan pembelajaran secara holistik. Kontribusi dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi pembuat kebijakan dalam merancang program pengembangan kepemimpinan guna meningkatkan kualitas layanan sekolah secara berkelanjutan.Kata kunci: Kepemimpinan Spiritual; Kepemimpinan Visioner; Kepemimpinan Pembelajaran; Kepala sekolah; Kualitas Layanan SekolahAbstract: School Leadership and the Quality of Primary School Services: An Empirical Analysis This study aimed to analyse the influence of spiritual, visionary and learning leadership on primary school service quality. Using a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique, this study involved 214 principals from various regions in Indonesia. The analysis showed that all three types of leadership have a significant influence on school service quality. In addition, spiritual leadership acts as a factor that strengthens visionary and learning leadership, which in turn improves service quality. The conclusions of this study emphasise the importance of integrating the three dimensions of leadership in improving the quality of education services. Therefore, leadership training is recommended for school principals to develop visionary, spiritual and learning capabilities holistically. The contributions of this study can serve as a basis for policy makers in designing leadership development programmes to sustainably improve the quality of school services.Keyword: Instructional Leadership; School Principal; School Service Quality; Spiritual Leadership; Visionary Leadership
