Abstract

Educational management is the management of educational resources in accordance with management functions to achieve educational goals effectively and efficiently. Educational resource consists of men, money, materials, methods, machine, market, minute, and information. Management functions such as planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling are performed sequentially. Controlling function is to monitor and evaluate the results of actuating function in comparison with the goals to be achieved. One effort in the controlling of FKIP UNS is the alumnus user satisfaction survey. Information survey results are used for policy-making considerations in the improvement and development of quality improvement of students so that alumnus users obtain qualified labor. Informations are obtained from the 39 agencies both formal educational institutions (primary schools, junior high schools, senior high schools, and vocational schools) or non-formal educational institutions in 2012. The research instrument is a questionnaire to determine the ten alumnus abilities. From the questionnaires showed that alumnus FKIP UNS including in the category of very capable in leadership skills, science, the use of information technology, active in school organization. Alumnus FKIP UNS including in the category of capable in communication skills, teamwork, motivation and self-development, integrity, and entrepreneurship. Alumnus FKIP UNS including in the category of less capable in mastery of the English.

Abstract

This study is aimed at developing the application of responsibility through the implementation of Numbered Head Together model in the social science learning process. The type of this research was descriptive analysis using qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were the third-grade students and teachers of social science learning in Sukoharjo Sub-district. Data collection techniques in this study were documentation studies, observation, and interviews. The findings of the research were analyzed using interactive analysis of Miles and Huberman model and presented through descriptive narrative text. The results of the research show that: 1) the learning result of the third-grade students in social science subject is not maximal yet, 2) the students are not aware of the social science learning objectives for their future, 3) the teachers remain applying the conventional model, 4) the teacher has not implemented the social science learning process involving the students' responsibility. The characteristics of Numbered Head Together learning model are suitable to be applied in learning social science because it makes the students serious in learning, develop thinking skills, and improve social relationships among students that can be used as a means to develop the studenta’ responsibilities in the social studies learning process. DOI: https://doi.org/10.24071/ijiet.2018.020202

Abstract

Responding to the global challenge, education is expected to make an effort of service quality assurance of education (Quality Assurance) and produce graduate students who fulfill the standard. Implementation of quality assurance by higher education at university will be able to give the best academic service for the students. The result of the research is to inform that there are three study programs that have implemented quality assurance: Economics Education, Geography education and Mechanical Engineering Education. However, there are 10 steps in quality assurance which have not been already implemented. Reward and punishment have not been implemented for the lecturer yet.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the effect of Thinking Actively in a Social Context, Creative Problem Solving, and Direct Instruction learning models on students' divergent thinking skills. The quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method was used as the research approach. The research subjects include the fifth-grade students at the public elementary schools in Laweyan District, Surakarta, Indonesia. The data were collected using test and non-test techniques. They were then analyzed using the prerequisite test, hypothesis test and multiple-comparison test. The results show that the learning model has an effect on divergent thinking skills. The selection of TASC and CPS learning models has an effect on the students’ activeness in learning, so teachers can consider these models to be applied in learning with integrated thematic teaching materials in the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in critical thinking skills between students who learn using the problem based learning model and STAD model. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental method. The population of this study is the X grade students of SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta in the academic year 2017/2018. Samples were obtained by using cluster random sampling technique consisting of two classes namely X PM 1 class as the experimental class with problem-based learning and X PM 3 class as the control class with STAD learning. The technique of collecting data uses a multiple choice test to determine students' critical thinking skills. Data Analysis is using MANOVA. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant influence between the learning model on critical thinking skills. The application of the problem-based learning model proved to be more able to improve students' critical thinking skills compared to the STAD learning model.

Abstract

This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques used were observation, documentation and interviews. The validity test in this study uses four validation criteria that must be met, namely 1) credibility, 2) transferability, 3) dependability, and 4) confirmability. This study aims to determine the results of the implementation of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in economic subjects in high schools which are guided by pandemic conditions which cause changes in face-to-face learning patterns to online-based learning. The conclusion obtained, 97% of the implementation of learning economic subjects is done online. 75.9% of teachers prefer to use google class as a learning platform that helps teachers deliver material to students. Meanwhile, for miling list media such as WhatsApp, it was assessed that 75.9% of teachers were more effective in communicating with students. The implementation of online learning makes the teacher adapt to the situation, makes learning plans that are implemented based on existing conditions, the teacher must schedule learning, the teacher must prepare learning materials that make it easier for students to learn.

Abstract

Institutions can use customer satisfaction to build loyalty and success in terms of how the agency operates. This study aims to examine the effect of job satisfaction on teacher attitudes and analyze the factors of teacher job satisfaction and the philosophy of Narimo ing Pandum. This research uses a mixed research method. One hundred teachers followed this study. The data were collected by using interview and questionnaire techniques. Data analysis was carried out using simple linear regression analysis and interactive analysis (data reduction, data presentation, and levers/conclusions). The findings of this study reveal a significant effect of job satisfaction on the attitudes of teachers of SMK Narimo ing Pandum. The highest factor of teacher job satisfaction is the support of colleagues (20.27%) and the lowest factor is the work itself (13.77%). Meanwhile, the highest proportion of Narimo ing Pandum attitude is honest and sincere (22.28%) and the lowest percentage is gratitude (13.17%). This finding contributes that school principals need to give serious attention to job satisfaction and attitudes towards Narimo ing Pandum by optimizing what teachers need in teaching. It is hoped that teachers can apply the principles of Narimo ing Pandum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui apakah model discovery learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di era merdeka belajar. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian literatur. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan mengumpulkan data melalui berbagai sumber artikel ilmiah yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis lebih mendalam dan disajikan dalam tulisan ilmiah. Pencarian data jurnal dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data base Google Scholar dengan rentang waktu tahun 2022. Berdasarkan pencarian jurnal yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan 15 jurnal yang relevan. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa model discovery learning merupakan salah satu model yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di era merdeka belajar.

Abstract

The advent of digital technology, particularly the internet, has revolutionized the traditional entrepreneurial process into digital entrepreneurship. The objectives of this study are twofold: (1) to identify the key factors that form digital entrepreneurship intentions among college students, and (2) to outline potential themes for future research. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to examines various types of research conducted between 2017 and 2023. Based on results data collection 209 publication articles were obtained from the Scopus database, through the validation and extraction process obtained 29 research articles relevant to the issue and criterion to reviewed. The research results reveal five key factors shaping the digital entrepreneurship intentions in university students. These factors comprise cognitive, individual, educational, environmental, and demographic factors. Remarkably, the study highlights the dominance of individual factors, cognitive factors, and Theory of Planned Behaviour models within the realm of digital entrepreneurship study. Furthermore, future research is suggested to explore environmental and demographic factors. Given the essential opportunities, it is imperative to carry out further study to probe into the digital entrepreneurship intentions of university students.
