Abstract

The problems in this study include 1) the learning process rarely uses technology-based media, 2) the results of learning in science are still low, 3) learning is not yet centered on students, 4) the learning media used are not varied and 5) the use of interesting quizzes through interactive media has never been given. Through the development of interactive quiz games based on canva, it is expected to help teachers create interesting and fun learning and increase students' attention and interest in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of feasibility, responses of educators and students and the effectiveness of interactive quiz games based on canva in science learning on cultural diversity and local wisdom for grade 4 SDN 1 Pinang Jaya. The type of research that will be used is R&D (Research and Development). This development research refers to the ADDIE model with five development steps, namely: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, 5) Evaluation. The instruments used are expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaire sheets and pretest and posttest questions. The results of this development research indicate (1) the feasibility of the interactive quiz game based on Canva which produced 3 validations: material validation of 90%, language validation of 90% and language validation of 93.33%. The average of the 3 validations obtained a percentage of 91.11%, thus the media is included in the very valid qualification so that it is suitable for use. (2) the responses of educators and students in the development of this product include: (a) teacher responses obtained a percentage of 92% and (b) student responses in small-scale trials involving 8 people obtained a percentage of 91.07%, while in large-scale trials involving 24 people obtained a percentage of 90.60%. From the results of the teacher and student responses, it is included in the qualification of very practical and interesting to use. (3) the effectiveness of the media using the n-gain score calculation reached a percentage of 60.27%, which means that the results are included in the category of quite effective use in learning.

Abstract

In the pandemic era of Covid-19, the students must study from home through online platform. One of many new platforms used by the students during such pandemic era of Covid-19 was Zoom. Zoom is a cloud based application for video conference. Consequently, as one of many schools that cannot conduct offline learning, STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung also used online learning. This research wanted to understand how online learning affected the STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung students, regarding their academix achievement. The researchers used Cluster Random Sampling as a sampling technique to get the research sample. This research used questionnaires to collect the data. The questionnaires were given to and answered by 23 students from the second semester in STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung. SPSS, consistency analysis, static analysis, and regression analysis were used as data collection technique and analysis. The results showed that Zoom can be used as an alternative educational platform, and this platform was an appropriate educational media at STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung. The researchers concluded that STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung students had a clear understanding and were ready to learn English using Zoom in the pandemic Covid-19 era

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, respon pendidik, respon peserta didik dan keefektifan terhadap media wayang “sidang belawan” untuk meningkatkan kemampuan apresiasi sastra pada mata pelajaran bahasa indonesia siswa kelas V SDN 1 Pinang Jaya. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia peserta didik, minimnya Media Pembelajaran Inovatif, kurangnya Pemanfaatan budaya lokal dalam Pembelajaran dan belum adanya media pembelajaran berbantu media wayang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu R&D (research and development) dan melalui prosedur pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, dan Evaluate. Validasi produk dilakukan oleh validator ahli materi yang menyatakan bahwa produk media Wayang berbasis Cerita Rakyat sidang belawan yang dikembangkan memperoleh hasilpresentase sebesar 90% dengan kriteria interpretasi “sangat layak”, kemudian hasil validasi ahli media menyatakan bahwa presentase sebesar 87% dengan kriteria interpretasi “sangat layak”. Sedangkan respon pendidik memperoleh nilai persentase 89,5%, dengan kriteria interpretasi “sangat menarik”, kemudian respon peserta didik pada uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh nilai persentase 92%, dengan kriteria interpretasi “sangat menarik” dan pada uji coba lapangan memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 89,5% dengan kriteriainterpretasi “sangat menarik” sedangkan untuk uji keefektifan produk yang ditinjau dari penugasaan soal pretest dan posttest memperoleh nilai persentase 77%, dengan kriteria interpretasi “efektif”. Pengembangan media wayang “sidang belawan” untuk meningkatkan kemampuan apresiasi sastra pada mata pelajaran bahasa indonesia siswa kelas V SDN 1 Pinang Jaya menggunakanmetode penelitian research and development (R&D), dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan media wayang “sidang belawan” sangat layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.
