Abstract

Data processing is one of the steps that must be done well before you can draw good and correct conclusions. Often the data obtained cannot be utilized as well as possible due to a lack of knowledge regarding its use and how to process it. This activity includes an introduction to software, division of data types, use of each data and how to process geotechnical data so that further analysis can be carried out. Assessment of each instrument regarding slope stability and underground opening hole stability needs to be given as early as possible to prepare students to improve their abilities and have adequate knowledge. This increase in skills and knowledge will increase the value of graduating students at SMK Negeri 4 Palangka Raya in particular.

Abstract

PT. Unggul Nusantara merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pertambangan batubara dan menerapkan menerapkan sistem tambang terbuka dengan metode open pit mining, dimana dalam penerapannya untuk penimbunan tanah penutup (overburden) dilakukan di luar area pit (out pit). Di lokasi penelitian, seluruh area disposal sudah final sehingga perusahaan ingin melakukan perluasan area penimbunan. Permasalahan tersebut yang melatarbelakangai penelitian ini yaitu untuk membuat rancangan lereng disposal Out Pit Dump dengan mengoptimalisasi volume disposal untuk menghasilkan suatu rancangan lereng timbunan yang aman dan stabil. Material utama penyusun timbunan adalah claystone, dengan kapasitas optimal penimbunan sebesar 177.815,10 BCM. Untuk menentukan geometri lereng disposal berdasarkan nilai faktor kemanan menggunakan metode Kesetimbangan Batas Taylor dan menentukan probabilitas longsorannya menggunakan metode Bishop Simplified. Kedua metode ini mempertimbangkan kesetimbangan gaya dalam arah vertikal dan kesetimbangan momen. Analisis dilakukan pada penampang A - A' hingga Penampang E - E'. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai Faktor Keamanan (FoS) yang direkomendasikan perusahaan sebesar 1.2 tercapai di semua penampang. Nilai FoS berkisar antara 1.252 hingga 1.276, dengan probabilitas longsor (PoF) 0–3.2% sehingga desain lereng dengan elevasi maksimum 60 meter memenuhi ketentuan perusahaan dan Kepmen ESDM 1827/2018. Abstract

Produktivitas alat berat merupakan salah satu indikator utama dalam keberhasilan operasional penambangan. PT. Kencana Sinergi Jaya Site Electra Global menghadapi masalah rendahnya produktivitas alat gali muat (excavator) dan alat angkut (dumptruck) pada kegiatan pengupasan tanah penutup (overburden) di Pit Barat. Rata-rata produktivitas excavator sebesar 131–192 BCM/jam dan dumptruck 45–65 BCM/jam. Jumlah ritase aktual per hari adalah 2.817 (Fleet 1), 3.276 (Fleet 2), dan 4.121 (Fleet 3) dengan total 10.214 BCM, masih di bawah target 10.553 BCM. Waktu kerja tersedia 20,5–21,5 jam, sedangkan kebutuhan waktu kerja mencapai 23,68 jam. Hambatan utama yaitu kondisi jalan, front, dan disposal yang buruk, keterbatasan alat support (bulldozer), keterlambatan pengisian BBM, serta hujan. Diperlukan perbaikan hambatan dan manajemen waktu agar target produktivitas dapat tercapai sesuai dengan jam kerja tersedia.

Abstract

PT Arta Bumi Sakti operates within the mining sector, focusing on the Insani Baraperkasa. A major challenge in open-pit mining in this area is maintaining the stability of highwall slopes, particularly in the 2025 Mahakam monthly pit design. This study aims to evaluate slope stability in the highwall region using the Limit Equilibrium Method through the Bishop Simplified, Janbu Simplified, Morgenstern Price, and Spencer. Geotechnical parameters were obtained from laboratory tests and interpretations of geotechnical drilling data, including unit weight, cohesion, internal friction angle, UCS, and GSI. Software was used to analyze the slope and calculate safety factors while considering groundwater levels, earthquake loads, and ground pressure across two representative cross-sections. The results show that both cross-sections have safety factor values exceeding the minimum threshold established by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 1827 K/30/MEM/2018, namely, FS > 1.1 and PoF < 20%. Thus, mining activities in this period can be conducted safely. In addition, the Spencer Method, which simultaneously satisfies stability in terms of force and momentum, provides stable results, this can be used as the basis that the Spencer can be used as the main method in the analysis of slope stability in the location.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the level of conformity between the mining plan and its actual implementation in Pit Ks-1 of PT. ABC during the period of April 2025. The evaluation was conducted to determine the level of production achievement and to identify the factors causing discrepancies between the planned design and the actual field conditions. The research employed a descriptive-quantitative method, utilizing mine planning software to analyze and compare the planned mining sequence with the actual progress in the field. The analysis focused on the conformity between the planned mining sequence and the actual pit conditions, as well as the achievement of production targets. The results show that the actual overburden removal reached 872,819 bcm or 89% of the target of 981,990 bcm, while coal production reached 38,130 tons or 54% of the target of 70,000 tons. Based on the evaluation of the mining sequence conformity, the study area was dominated by undercut conditions (insufficient excavation), with a smaller portion of overcut (excess excavation), and several areas that were in plan (aligned with the design). The main factor contributing to the discrepancy between the plan and the actual mining realization was environmental conditions, particularly the high rainfall intensity during the study period. The total rainfall hours exceeded the planned working schedule, resulting in reduced Effective Working Hours (EWH). This condition caused slippery haul roads and flooded pit fronts, which hindered equipment movement and lowered operational productivity.

Abstract

Pengaruh curah hujan terhadap berbagai aktivitas khususnya kegiatan penambangan memberikan dampak terhadap tergenangnya front penambangan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada melihat pengaruh dari faktor cuaca, dalam hal ini adalah curah hujan dan aktual overburden removal.  Sehingga akan didapatkan   bagaimana   pengaruh   dari   curah hujan terhadap aktual overburden removal. Metode analisis statistik menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dan uji-t. Penggunaan metode regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan curah hujan dan aktual overburden removal tidak kuat atau aktual overburden removal tidak dipengaruhi oleh curah hujan. Hal tersebut diperkuat dengan uji signifikan hipotesis (uji-t), bahwa, tidak ada pengaruh nyata (tidak berpengaruh signifikan) dengan taraf signifikan 5%.
