Abstract

Digital transformation is a key factor in improving public service quality and regional competitiveness. The Government of Solok City, through the Department of Communication and Informatics (Diskominfo), has developed the Strategic Plan (Renstra) 2025–2030 with the vision of making Solok a smart city based on inclusive, innovative, and sustainable information technology. This study aims to analyze the contents of the plan using the SWOT approach (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), providing a comprehensive overview of its potential, challenges, and necessary strategic actions. The analysis reveals that the main strengths lie in a clear vision, measurable targets, and integrated strategic programs. However, challenges arise from limited human resources and infrastructure in peripheral areas. Opportunities can be leveraged through technological advancements and central government policy support, while the main threats come from potential cyberattacks and community resistance to change. This study recommends strengthening digital literacy, enhancing human resource capacity, and fostering cross-sector collaboration to ensure the successful implementation of the smart city initiative in Solok City.

Abstract

This study develops the strategic plan for the government section of Solok to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of regional government administration. The method employed is qualitative research based on literature review and analysis of official documents related to strategic planning and governmental governance. SWOT analysis is used to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by the governance section of Solok Regency. The findings highlight the importance of strengthening human resource capacity, refining work procedures, integrating information technology, and improving coordination among units and stakeholders as main strategic steps. The formulated strategic plan includes vision, mission, goals, targets, as well as priority programs and activities that support sustainable regional development. The recommendations aim to serve as a foundation for improving performance and governance of Solok Regency government in coping with the dynamics of governance and increasing demands for public service.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate strategies to optimize the performance of Bank Nagari's Sawahlunto Branch in supporting regional economic development through a SWOT analysis approach. As a Regionally-Owned Enterprise (BUMD), Bank Nagari plays a dual role as a financial institution and development agent through dividend contributions, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, and support for the MSME sector and local cultural preservation. The research method uses a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and participatory observation. The analysis results identify key strengths in strategic synergy with the Sawahlunto City Government and commitment to local culture, while weaknesses lie in geographical reach limitations and digital product diversification. Opportunities arise from the tourism sector development and financial technology adoption, while threats come from competition with fintech and natural disaster vulnerabilities. Based on the SWOT matrix, four main integrated strategies are formulated to strengthen the bank's contribution to regional economic development.

Abstract

Optimizing the role of the National and Political Unity Agency (Kesbangpol) is a crucial factor in maintaining national harmony and stability. This journal aims to analyze and formulate strategies to optimize the role of Kesbangpol using a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis approach. The research method used is descriptive-analytical qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and document studies. The results identify several internal and external factors influencing Kesbangpol's performance, such as strengths in regulations and collaborative networks, weaknesses in budget and technology, opportunities in public awareness and digital support, and threats from political polarization and disinformation. Based on this analysis, four alternative strategies are formulated: SO (utilizing opportunities through strengths), WO (overcoming weaknesses to seize opportunities), ST (using strengths to counter threats), and WT (minimizing weaknesses and avoiding threats). The resulting strategic recommendations are expected to serve as a guide for Kesbangpol and stakeholders in enhancing institutional effectiveness.

Abstract

The National Unity and Politics Agency (Kesbangpol) of Solok Regency plays a strategic role in maintaining national resilience and political stability at the regional level. This study aims to formulate a medium-term strategy (2025–2030) through a SWOT analysis and Balanced Scorecard (BSC) approach. The analysis results indicate that Kesbangpol has strengths in terms of human resources who understand local political issues and partnerships with security agencies, but faces limitations in terms of budget and technology utilization. Opportunities include public support for the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) and trends toward cross-sector collaboration, while threats include radicalism, political polarization, and hoaxes. The strategies formulated include institutional strengthening, service digitalization, national awareness campaigns, radicalism prevention, regional policy synergy, and political resilience evaluation. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for Kesbangpol's strategic planning to achieve conducive political stability.

Abstract

This study presents the seismic-resistant structural design of a 3-storey guest house with a roof garden, located in Surabaya, Indonesia, an area classified as Earthquake Zone 6. The building is designed using a Special Moment Resisting Frame System (SMRFS) as per SNI 1726:2019, which is appropriate for high seismic risk areas. The equivalent static lateral force method is employed for seismic analysis. Structural modeling and upper-structure design are performed using ETABS, while sub-structure components such as pile caps and foundations are analyzed manually and supported by PCA Column software. The structural elements are designed according to Indonesian codes, including SNI 2847:2019 for reinforced concrete, SNI 1727:2020 for minimum loads, and SNI 2052:2017 for steel reinforcement. The final design yields column dimensions ranging from 200×400 mm to 600×600 mm and beam dimensions from 250×400 mm to 350×700 mm, with slab thicknesses of 120 mm and 150 mm. The results confirm that the structure meets strength, stiffness, and ductility requirements. This research ensures compliance with national standards while enhancing structural safety in high seismic zones.

Abstract

The description of the determinants of teacher turnover intention in Vocational High School (SMK) is still not optimally depicted in Indonesia. This condition is due to the limited number of special studies that focus on teacher turnover intentions for vocational school teachers. At the same time, the role of vocational school teachers is essential for the sustainability of educational institutions. Therefore, this study aims to build a conceptual model that determines teacher turnover intention. Literature research data was collected between 2006 and 2021, sourced from Google Scholar. In addition, the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) and bibliometric approaches were used for data analysis. The findings of the study lead to the development of a conceptual model to determine teacher turnover intention, which includes five variables: job satisfaction, interpersonal stress, efficacy, prosocial motivation, and organizational culture. It was found that teacher turnover intention can be measured through three dimensions: the possibility of individuals leaving the organization, teachers' cognitions and attitudes, and the frequency and intensity of intentions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the development and impact of artificial intelligence adoption across various sectors, with a focus on higher education, creative industries, and business. Using bibliometric analysis, this research analyzes relevant articles published between 2021 and 2024, considering citation counts and contributions to understanding AI in different fields. The most cited article is Developing a model for AI Across the curriculum, which discusses the integration of AI in higher education to enhance AI literacy. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of upskilling and reskilling in multinational corporations, as discussed in Rebooting employees: upskilling for artificial intelligence in multinational corporations, emphasizing the need for skill updates to adapt to technological advancements. The research also identifies that AI adoption by SMEs and other industries has significant potential to improve productivity and business sustainability, although challenges related to human resource readiness and digital infrastructure persist. Overall, the findings provide insights into AI's technological development and its implications for business transformation and learning strategies in the digital era.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of Social Media Marketing (SMM) and perceived pricing on consumers' repurchase intentions, with trust serving as a mediating factor, in the context of modern retail outlets in Padang City. A quantitative method was utilized, employing Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) for data analysis. Data were obtained through questionnaires administered to 250 participants, all of whom were patrons of Budiman Swalayan. The analysis revealed that both SMM and price perception have a positive and significant influence on customer trust. Moreover, price perception has a direct and essential effect on repurchase intention, whereas SMM does not exhibit a substantial direct effect on repurchase intention. Trust demonstrated a significant impact on repurchase intention and was confirmed as a significant mediator in the relationship between both SMM and price perception with repurchase intention. These outcomes highlight the crucial role of trust in connecting SMM and pricing perceptions to consumer loyalty. From a practical standpoint, the study emphasizes the necessity of consistent digital marketing efforts and equitable pricing strategies as fundamental drivers for building trust and encouraging repeat purchases.

Abstract

Model kerja hybrid telah menjadi pendekatan kerja dominan pasca pandemi dan menuntut transformasi strategis dalam praktik manajemen sumber daya manusia (MSDM). Meskipun literatur terkait kerja hybrid berkembang pesat, kajian sebelumnya masih terfragmentasi dan belum menyajikan sintesis kritis berbasis PRISMA yang mengintegrasikan konteks organisasi, strategi MSDM serta dampaknya terhadap keterlibatan karyawan, produktivitas, kesejahteraan dan keberlanjutan budaya organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengisi kesenjangan tersebut melalui systematic literature review (SLR) kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan PRISMA terhadap artikel ilmiah periode 2021–2025. Seleksi literatur melalui Publish or Perish dan Covidence menghasilkan 10 artikel inti yang dipilih dengan ketat untuk memastikan relevansi, kualitas dan kesesuaian pada fokus penelitian. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa fleksibilitas kerja, digitalisasi proses MSDM, manajemen kinerja berbasis hasil, kepemimpinan adaptif dan dukungan kesejahteraan karyawan merupakan faktor kunci keberhasilan kerja hybrid. Namun, efektivitas strategi tersebut bersifat kontekstual dan bergantung pada kesiapan organisasi serta kualitas implementasi kebijakan MSDM. Studi ini menegaskan bahwa kerja hybrid merupakan transformasi strategis yang memerlukan pendekatan MSDM yang adaptif, berorientasi pada manusia dan berkelanjutan.
