Abstract

Produk hasil pengolahan ikan, terutama ikan asap di Indonesia terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Peningkatan jumlah produksi ikan asap ini harus diimbangi dengan peningkatan kualitasnya agar dapat bersaing di pasar bebas ASEAN (MEA). Selama ini produk ikan asap dalam negeri kurang begitu diminati oleh konsumen serta identic dengan tingkat higienitas dan aspek sanitasi yang kurang baik. Untuk itulah perlu dilakukan identifikasi terhadap kebutuhan konsumen ikan asap untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitasnya. salah satu caranya adalah dengan menggunakan metode QFD (Quality Function Deployment) yang selama ini telah sering digunakan. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, didapatkan hasil bahwa  variable yang paling fiinginkan dan dibutuhkan konsumen adalah kebersihan dan keamanan untuk dikonsumsi. Sedangkan untuk karakteristik teknis pada ikan asap yang perlu untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut adalah sistem pengemasannya.

Abstract

Tingkat kepadatan penduduk yang cenderung tinggi sejalan dengan volume sampah yang terus meningkat di Kota Semarang. Hal ini perlu disiasati dengan melakukan pengelolaan sampah yang baik, salah satunya dengan menerapkan sistem Bank Sampah. Pengelolaan bank sampah yang baik, tentunya harus didukung pula dengan sistem yang terkomputerisasi, dengan tujuan memudahkan dalam manajemen administrasi pengelolaan data terkait Bank Sampah agar menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. Namun sayangnya, sampai saat ini sistem pengelolaan Bank Sampah dan administrasinya masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga kurang mengakomodir anggota Bank Sampah yang semakin bertambah. Pengabdian ini telah dilakukan dengan baik melalui pengembangan sistem pengelolaan Bank Sampah Resik Becik yang terkomputerisasi bagi Warga Kelurahan Krobokan. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pendampingan mengenai tata cara pemanfaatan sistem Bank Sampah terkomputerisasi untuk pengelolaan data yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Selain itu, dijelaskan pula mengenai apa saja keuntungan yang didapatkan dengan penerapan sistem tersebut. Program Pendampingan yang dilaksanakan di Bank Sampah Resik Becik Kelurahan Krobokan juga mendapatkan umpan balik yang positif dari pihak Pengelola Bank Sampah. Mitra dan peserta pendampingan juga terlihat sangat antusias dengan kegiatan Pengabdian yang dilaksanakan dari awal hingga pendampingan akhir, terbukti dengan banyaknya pertanyaan yang disampaikan oleh peserta selama kegiatan pengabdian berlangsung.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                        Penelitian ini merupakan lanjutan dari penelitian sebelumnya dengan objek permesinan CNC Router G-Weike WK1212 namun ditujukan untuk optimalisasi seting proses engraving. Permasalahan penelitian ini terletak pada seting operasional mesin yang masih berdasarkan perkiraan atau asumsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Taguchi untuk mengetahui seting optimal dari mesin CNC Router tersebut untuk proses engraving terhadap material kayu mahoni. Parameter uji penelitian ini adalah waktu proses, suhu mata pahat, dimensi panjang, lebar dan depth hasil proses. Mata pahat yang digunakan berjenis conical dengan diameter 3mm. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan nilai level seting optimal terletak pada spindle speed 8 step, motion speed 7 step dan depth per cut 0.5mm. Kata Kunci:  CNC Router, Conical 3mm, Engraving, Optimasi, Taguchi ABSTRACT This research uses the G-Weike WK1212 CNC Router machining object to optimize the engraving process settings. The problem of this research lies in the operational settings of the machine which are still based on estimates or assumptions. This study uses the Taguchi method to determine the optimal setting of the CNC Router machine for the engraving process of mahogany wood material. The test parameters of this research are processing time, tool temperature, length, width and depth dimensions of the process. The chisel used is a conical type with a diameter of 3mm. The results of this study obtained that the optimal level setting value lies in the spindle speed of 8 steps, motion speed of 7 steps and depth per cut of 0.5mm. Keyword:  CNC Router, Conical 3mm, Engraving, Optimization, Taguchi

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lanjutan dari penelitian sebelumnya terkait optimasi proses ukir (engraving) dengan objek yang sama yaitu material kayu mahoni yang diproses dengan mesin CNC Router G-Weike WK1212 dan mata pahat jenis Conical ukuran 3 mm menggunakan metode Taguchi. Pada penelitian ini metode optimasi yang digunakan adalah Full Factorial Design dengan optimasi plot multirespon, dimana penggunaan metode tersebut juga mengacu pada hasil penelitian sebelumnya namun implementasinya diterapkan pada proses potong (cutting) dengan mata pahat jenis End Mill 3 mm menggunakan mesin CNC Router dan material kayu yang sama. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ada 2, pertama adalah membandingkan nilai optimalitas dari implementasi metode Full Factorial Design - optimasi plot multirespon dengan hasil implementasi metode Taguchi sebelumnya. Kedua, mengetahui apakah hasil optimal dari implementasi metode Full Factorial Design dengan optimasi plot multirespon untuk proses engraving menggunakan mata pahat Conical 3 mm dapat sama dengan pada proses cutting menggunakan mata pahat End Mill 3mm. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa level seting optimal dari hasil metode Full Factorial Design dengan optimasi plot multi respon adalah kecepatan spindle 7 step, kecepatan motion 5 step dan depth per cut 0.5 mm.

Abstract

The speed in distributing the products of the industry is influenced by the speed of production produced by the industry itself. SMEs know that ECO is one of the manufacturing industries engaged in food manufacturing. there are obstacles (problems) that are experienced, namely the occurrence of inequality between the production capacity of tofu that can be produced and the demand for tofu that must be met. The purpose of this study is to increase the production capacity of Tofu Eco SMEs in terms of increasing working time. The method used in this research is the dynamic system method using the PLE vensim software. The results of the study show that based on the actual system conditions, it is known that there are 25 workers with 8 working hours per day, and an average production capacity of 957 barrels per month is obtained month with an average demand of 1005 barrels /month. The results of the alternative simulation I, have an average production capacity of 1,080 barrels/month. The results of the scenario II simulation show that the average production capacity is 1,230 barrels/month. From the simulation results of alternative scenarios, it can be seen that for production demand below 1,080 barrels/month, the alternative used is to add 1 hour (60 minutes) of overtime, while for requests above 1,079 barrels/month with a maximum production demand of 1,255 barrels/month, alternative scenarios can be used. II with the addition of 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes) of overtime.

Abstract

One of the projects currently being undertaken by PT. XYZ is Dam “X”. Based on project management data obtained from PT. XYZ, the actual project construction process experienced a significant delay from the planned schedule, with a delay duration of approximately 30 days. The delay will have an impact on the duration of the final completion of the project, including the process of delivering project results to consumers. The purpose of this study is to determine the critical path in project implementation and identify activities that do not have slack time because it will affect the duration of the overall project completion. The method used in this study is the Critical Path Method (CPM), which is a network method consisting of a series of activity components with the longest total time and showing the fastest duration of project completion. The results showed that the Manufacturing Project has a total of 11 critical activities out of 37 activities (work packages), with a total critical time of 75 days. The total critical time from the calculation of the CPM method also shows the optimal total project duration which can be used as a reference for the project team for the completion of a fabrication project or a hydromechanical component installation project on Dam "X".

Abstract

National Waste Management Information System shows that the amount of waste handled in Semarang City over the last three years has decreased with an average decline index of 1.06% per year. This is reinforced by the results of interviews with the Semarang City Environmental Service, that the handling of organic waste is still very limited because so far the handling has been more focused on an-organic waste. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate supply chain performance to determine the constraints in organic waste management from upstream to downstream. Based on the research results using the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) method through a focus group discussion process involving eight experts in the field of waste management, it is known that the supply chain performance for handling organic waste in Semarang City has 11 elements of constraints, which are divided into seven priority levels. The element with the highest priority is related to the availability of organic waste supplies, while the element with the lowest priority is technological innovation and the application of appropriate technology. Improving the performance of organic waste management supply chains should focus on elements according to priority.

Abstract

Planning and controlling the needs of both raw materials and finished products is a significant thing for companies to optimize their production. This also applies to CV. Mitra Setia Usaha that  engaged in the textile industry with raw materials batik cloth. During this time, CV. Mitra Setia Usaha has not applied standard methods in the planning and control of raw material needs. Determination of the amount of raw materials so far only based on the number of consumer orders. In the last 2 (two years) (October 2014 to September 2016), the company received a request of 5.050,000 meters, but the existing supply of cotton fabric was only 4,920,500 meters. One of the methods that can be applied in the CV. Loyal Business Partners is the Material Requirement Planning (MRP). By applying this MRP-Lot for for lot (LFL) method, CV. Mitra Setia Usaha able to reduce the cost incurred in the procurement of raw materials for one year which initially amounted to 104.328.000 rupiah to 93.817.673 rupiah and can even be reduced again to 83.306.995 rupiah using the method of Order Quantity Period (POQ)

Abstract

The design of the layout aims to optimize aspects of productivity, processing time, worker fatigue, cost & distance of movement of material on the production floor. Optimizations regarding material displacement distance typically focus on minimizing the distance between the production units within the manufacturing company. This study conducted a case study on UD Utama Tires which is one of the companies manufacturing retread tire trucks located in Semarang. The company has crossmovement related problems between production units and departmental layout that is not in line with the production process flow, while the availability of production space is only 30x15 meters and there are 12 departments. The observation result shows the distance of material transfer in the heat-processing unit is 111.96 m and the cold-processing unit is 100.63. Optimization needs to be done to minimize the material distance between the units of the process. Blocplan algorithm was chosen as the method of arranging the company layout and obtained the result of 20 alternative proposed new layout to then selected one of the proposals with the highest layout score. The result of this research is the 15th proposed alternative with the highest layout-score value is 0.82, so it can be concluded that the optimum model can minimize the distance of the material production movement by 63.8m in the heat-processing unit with the effectiveness rate 43.02% and 69.1m in the process unit cold with effectiveness rate 31,33%

Abstract

One form of actual problems in the manufacturing industry is how to maximize the value of profit with various constraints or constraints. The problem is not only experienced by big industry but also small industry like in UD. Wingko trip Mr. Moel who is trying to maximize the value of profit by estimating the amount of wingko trips that must be produced because there is a problem of the difference in the amount of production with one of the limits associated with the production capacity. The resulting production difference causes the amount of wingko trip or excess production in certain month. The method of Goal Programming is the one method of optimization with more than one objective that are interconnected with each other or conflicting to solve the problem. This research uses the Goal Programming method to optimize the production amount and maximize the profit of the product, and to forecast the number of forward demand by using the number of the past request to know how many products must be produced. Goal Programming Formulations use forecasting as decision variables for optimization of results in compliance with criteria and constraints. The results show the optimal amount of production in January - December 2017 are 29860 bag wingko original, 24000 bag wingko chocolate chocolate, 26004 bag wingko tripe jackfruit and 18084 bag wingko tripe durian with total profit in 2017 is Rp. 429.736.600.Â
