Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang nilai-nilai sosial dalam novel. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) Mendeskripsikan nilai agama dalam novel Untukmu Imam Rahasiaku, (2) Mendeskripsi nilai moral yang ada dalam novel Untukmu Imam Rahasiaku, dan (3) Menelaah nilai pendidikan yang ada dalam novel Untukmu Imam Rahasiaku karya Maylan Kokonoka. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan sosiologis yang menganalisis manusia dalam masyarakat dengan proses pemahaman mulai dari masyarakat ke individu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dilakukan dengan cara mendiskripsikan fakta-fakta, yang kemudian disusul dengan analisis. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah novel yang berjudul Untukmu Imam Rahasiaku karya Maylan Kokonoka. Novel ini diterbitkan oleh Coconut Books, Depok tahun 2018 dengan tebal buku 412 halaman. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi teks dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif interpretatif. Hasil kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Nilai agama yang ada dalam novel mengacu pada dua bagian, yaitu: a) hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, ada 45 buah pembahasan, dan b) Hubungan manusia dengan manusia 9 buah pembahasan, (2) Nilai moral yang ada dalam novel mengacu pada tiga bagian, yaitu: a) hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, ada 4 buah pembahasan, b) hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri 12 buah pembahasan, dan c) hubungan manusia dengan sesama 27 buah pembahasan, dan (3) Nilai pendidikan yang ada dalam novel Untukmu Imam Rahasiaku karya Maylan Kokonoka ada 15 buah pembahasan

Abstract

Penelitian ini berkenaan dengan kajian sosiologi sastra dalam Novel Sebening Syahadat Karya Diva SR. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan jenis toleransi yang terdapat dalam dalam Novel Sebening Syahadat Karya Diva SR, (2) mendeskripsikan bentuk toleransi beragama yang terdapat dalam Novel Sebening Syahadat Karya Diva SR, dan (3) mendeskripsikan sikap toleransi beragama yang terdapat dalam Novel Sebening Syahadat Karya Diva SR. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah pendekatan sosiologis dan jenis penelitian kepustakaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis. Sumber data yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah Novel Sebening Syahadat Karya Diva SR cetakan keenam yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2019 dengan tebal sebanyak 448 halaman. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik studi kepustakaan dan teknik observasi teks. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan hasil dari penelitian ini secara garis besar, yakni 1) jenis toleransi yang terdapat dalam Novel Sebening Syahadat Karya Diva SR adalah (a) toleransi beragama, dan (b) toleransi sosial, 2) bentuk toleransi beragama yang terdapat dalam Novel Sebening Syahadat Karya Diva SR adalah (a) saling menghormati, (b) mengakui hak setiap orang, (c) agree in disagreement (setuju dalam perbedaan), 3) sikap yang terdapat dalam Novel Sebening Syahadat Karya Diva SR ialah (a) saling membantu, (b) saling bertegur sapa, (c) saling menasehati, (d) saling menghargai pendapat masing-masing, (e) saling melindungi, (f) saling menjaga silaturrahmi, dan (g) saling memberi.

Abstract

Interest is a feeling of liking or attraction to something or an activity without anyone asking or telling. This interest in learning can be influenced by many factors, including the student himself, family, and school. A student needs to have a good interest in learning (interest in learning) so that through the stage of interest in learning students can improve learning outcomes. Mathematics learning is a teaching and learning process built by teachers to develop students' creative thinking, and can improve the ability to construct new knowledge as an effort to improve good mastery of mathematics material. Mathematics is one of the most important subjects and is studied from elementary school, junior high school, high school to college. This type of research is qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The subjects of the study were homeroom teachers for grade IV. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the role of teachers and teacher strategies in increasing interest in learning are as follows: (1) The role of teachers is very influential in increasing students' interest in learning. The role of teachers includes being class managers, class supervisors, and student motivators. These three things are interrelated in managing the class. Teachers can pay attention to students, facilitate deeper discussions, and provide learning strategies that are appropriate to students' needs. (2) Teacher strategies are very influential in increasing students' interest in learning. At SDN Burum, grade IV teachers use learning strategies including using cooperative learning, using learning media, and class discussion learning strategies.

Abstract

This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research subjects were principals, students, and class II homeroom teachers at SDN Tanipah 2. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of P5 at SDN Tanipah 2 consists of 3 stages: (1) The planning stage of teachers creating a coordination team, the level of readiness of the educational unit is at the main stage. The teacher chooses the project dimensions, namely the dimension of faith, being devoted to God Almighty and having noble morals and the independent dimension, the theme chosen is the theme of entrepreneurship with time allocated on Tuesdays, and the project topic is my vegetable theme, a manifestation of my responsibility and success. Teachers create project modules; teachers create reporting strategies with monitoring and evaluation instruments. (2) The first implementation stage is the introduction of plants in planting and care. Second, contextual, namely preparing good planting media. The three students' actions involved planting onions and also caring for the plants, preparing to harvest, and packaging the leeks, and using the onions to make omelettes and sell them. (3) In the evaluation activity stage, the teacher makes observations during the activity and uses instruments to monitor program implementation and evaluate the achievement of the Pancasila Student Profile related to dimensions, students compile portfolios and prepare P5 report cards.

Abstract

Learning to read is the most important and fundamental aspect of education because it is only through reading that we can learn everything about school, society, and even the outside world that students often desire. However, many students at Batu Balian 3 Public Elementary School, particularly third graders, still lack reading skills. This is due to the monotonous learning process. This makes the learning process boring, and students quickly become bored with the lessons taught. Therefore, this study aims to determine the use of word cards and to improve the reading skills of third-grade students at Batu Balian 3 Public Elementary School, Banjar Regency. This study used a mixed-methods approach, focusing on descriptive qualitative data to determine the use of word cards and supported by quantitative data from test results to measure improvements in students' reading skills. Data were collected through direct observation and reading ability tests (pretest and posttest). The results of this study indicate that the use of word cards in improving the reading skills of third-grade students at Batu Balian 3 Public Elementary School, Banjar Regency, was implemented through several systematic stages. These stages include letter and syllable recognition, mastery of new vocabulary, and practice constructing sentences using the SPOK (Subject, Predicate, Object, Adverb) structure. Students take turns arranging word cards and reading them aloud in front of the class, making the learning process more interactive and focused. Quantitative test data showed a significant improvement in students' reading skills after implementing word cards. Further observations during the study confirmed that this medium was highly effective in improving students' reading skills. This is because word cards facilitate students' visual and auditory word recognition, enrich their vocabulary, and improve reading fluency. Furthermore, students' understanding of basic sentence structure also improved, positively impacting their ability to comprehend the overall content of the reading. Thus, word cards have proven to be an efficient and comprehensive tool for improving students' reading skills at Batu Balian 3 Elementary School, Banjar Regency.

Abstract

Parenting patterns are a model or way of behaving that is applied in a family environment to protect and care for children by parents who are the first educators for the children themselves in the family itself. Parenting patterns are divided into three types of parenting patterns, namely authoritarian parenting patterns, democratic parenting patterns, and permissive parenting patterns. From there, parents apply one of these parenting patterns in the family to educate children in character building so that children have noble character. This study aims to determine how parenting patterns are in building children's character and the obstacles in implementing parenting patterns in children at SDN Bagus 2 Marabahan. The research method used in this study is qualitative research, which uses data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. Testing the validity of the data using triangulation with the subjects studied being parents of students who attend SDN Bagus 2 Marabahan. This research was conducted in Bagus Village, Jalan S. Parman RT. 006, Marabahan District. The results of the study showed that the parenting patterns applied in instilling the character of Pancasila student profiles at SDN Bagus 2 Marabahan, 1) the character of faith, devotion to God Almighty and noble morals tends to be democratic, but sometimes in certain situations it can change to authoritarian. 2) Independent characters tend to use democratic parenting patterns. 3) The character of mutual cooperation, parents use more democratic parenting patterns. 4) Creative characters, the parenting patterns applied by parents to children are permissive parenting patterns. 5) Global diversity characters use more permissive parenting patterns, but at certain times it can change to democratic parenting patterns. 6) Critical reasoning characters, use permissive parenting. The obstacles faced by parents while educating children at home are lack of communication with children, lack of free time to educate children, and the level of education taken by parents, most parents only have elementary/junior high school education.
