Abstract

ABSTRACT Climate change poses a threat to food security and impacts food availability in the region, especially in Aceh Province. The decline in the district food crop production index during the 2016-2023 period indicates a disruption in the agricultural production system in most areas of Aceh Province. This study aims to analyse the effect of climate change on food security in Aceh Province in the short and long term with the Auto Regressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model approach using panel data (21 district cross section data and time series from 2018-2023) variables of food security index, harvest area, district production obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and the Regional Food Security Agency (BKPD) while climate data on temperature, rainfall and humidity obtained from the Aceh Province Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The results of the analysis show that the variability of temperature, rainfall and district production has a long-term relationship to the Aceh Food Security Index (IKPA) with a temperature coefficient = 7.583732, meaning that every 1% increase in temperature will cause an increase in IKPA by 7.5%, the rainfall coefficient = 12.63413 means that every 1% increase in rainfall will cause a decrease in IKPA by 12.6% and the coefficient of rice production = 60.30847 means that every 1% increase in rice production will cause an increase in IKPA by 60.3% and the coefficient of corn production = 0.973232 means that every 1% increase in rice production will cause an increase in IKPA by 60.3%. The coefficient of maize production=0.973232 means that every 1% increase in maize production will cause an increase in IKPA by 0.97%. The implication of this research is that a policy or adaptation strategy is needed against rainfall variability that is too high can cause an increase in the population of pests and diseases of rice plants to cause fuso and have an impact on food availability and food security of Aceh Province in the long term. Abstract

This research aimed to determine the planning arrangement, the implementation effectiveness and the efforts to overcome the obstacles in the planning and implementing human resource planning on the administration staff at the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training of UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Administration and human resource management are the capital of the development in which the purpose of it is to gain the improvement in all aspects. Human resources are very valuable that require a serious planning when adopted into an organization. Human resources are known as a crucial component, recognized as a universal element in the organization effectiveness and a key to a competitive profit source. Besides giving an excellent service to the society, the task of human resources is to complete all the programs or the activities related to the government policies that affect human welfare in positive ways. The research used the qualitative method with case study design because the focus of this research was the specific phenomenon, the human resource planning on the staff administration.

Abstract

 Variabel yang berkontribusi terhadap keputusan masyarakat dalam memilih hewan kurban menjadi salah satu hal yang menjadi perhatian. Kajian tersebut, dilakukan dari April hingga Juni 2022 di Desa Tenrigangkae, Kecamatan Mandai, Kabupaten Maros, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktorfaktor yang mempengaruhi minat masyarakat dalam memilih hewan kurban. Kajian ini menerapkan metode analisis regresi linear berganda, sebuah teknik statistik yang digunakan untuk memprediksi variabel dependen berdasarkan dua atau lebih variabel independen, dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan menjelaskan fenomena yang sedang diteliti secara detail dan mendalam. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, dengan 160 responden yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Kajian ini mengidentifikasi empat variabel independen: faktor harga (X1), faktor kelompok referensi (X2), faktor produk (hewan kurban) (X3), dan faktor religiusitas (X4). Hasil analisis simultan menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen ini berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat masyarakat dalam memilih hewan kurban, dengan nilai konstanta positif. Efektivitas penyuluhan mencapai 74,70%, yang dikategorikan sebagai efektif. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan hewan kurban, yang berkontribusi pada pemahaman tentang perilaku konsumen dalam praktik religius. Temuan dari penelitian ini, dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk mengembangkan strategi promosi hewan kurban yang efektif dan tepat sasaran. Dengan memahami dan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor tersebut, strategi promosi dapat dirancang untuk menjangkau dan menarik minat masyarakat secara lebih efisien dan efektif.
