Abstract

This research aimed to determine the planning arrangement, the implementation effectiveness and the efforts to overcome the obstacles in the planning and implementing human resource planning on the administration staff at the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training of UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Administration and human resource management are the capital of the development in which the purpose of it is to gain the improvement in all aspects. Human resources are very valuable that require a serious planning when adopted into an organization. Human resources are known as a crucial component, recognized as a universal element in the organization effectiveness and a key to a competitive profit source. Besides giving an excellent service to the society, the task of human resources is to complete all the programs or the activities related to the government policies that affect human welfare in positive ways. The research used the qualitative method with case study design because the focus of this research was the specific phenomenon, the human resource planning on the staff administration.

Abstract

Education, the phenomenon of deterioration in academic ethics among lecturers, is alarming in Indonesia. That reflecting in decline in the value of integrity and the value of professionalism among lecturers. Therefore, this study focuses on the influence of understanding integrity and professional values on lecturers' academic ethics practices. The methodology of this study uses quantitative methods using descriptive survey studies. The data of this study were collected using questionnaire, where the understanding of integrity is measured with integrity according to the Hadith of the Prophet by Hanafi Hamdani (2014), professional values have measured using Wilson (2010) survey questionnaire on moral reasoning, and ethical decision making and academic ethics practices were measured using the College Teaching Behaviors Inventory (CTBI) developed by Braxton & Bayer (2003). The sampling method is to use a stratified sampling technique. Lecturers have randomly selected a total of 439 lecturers from five Universities of the Islamic Religious (PTKIN) in Aceh, Indonesia. Data were analyzed based on multiple regression. The findings showed that there was no significant effect of understanding of [p≥ .05 (.085)] and professional values [p≥ .05 (.140)] on lecturers' academic ethics practices. However, the findings of this study also show that a greater understanding of integrity contributes to the changing academic ethics of PTKIN lecturers than to professional values. This study implies that the aspect of understanding of integrity and professional value has enhanced through courses and training organized by the top management of PTKIN. The management of PTKIN should emphasize this aspect among the lecturers so that they can serve as role models for the younger generation.

Abstract

English: It is appropriate for a teacher to have positive enthusiasm and motivation in carrying out daily tasks so that a sense of pleasure arises in carrying out the profession as an educator or teacher. The criteria for teachers who have high motivation to teach have good competence and are happy with the work they do in a school or campus environment. Good and quality school management can support the performance of teachers in carrying out their activities and have the aim of improving the quality and achievement of student learning. Support from school principals, school committees, students and parents is very much needed in optimizing teacher performance for teaching and learning activities. There are about 76% of students who strongly support teacher activities and 83% of school principals support so that teachers are able to personally improve the quality of teaching in schools. Bahasa: Selayaknya bagi seorang guru memiliki semangat dan motivasi positif dalam melakukan tugas sehari-hari agar muncul  rasa senang dalam menjalankan profesi sebagai pendidik atau pengajar. Kriteria guru yang memiliki motivasi tinggi untuk mengajar mempunyai kompetensi yang baik dan senang dengan pekerjaan yang dia lakukan dalam lingkungan sekolah  atau kampus. Manajemen sekolah yang baik dan berkualitas dapat mendukung kinerja guru dalam melakukan aktivitasnya serta punya tujuan meningkatkan kualitas serta prestasi belajar siswa. Dukungan dari kepala sekolah, komite sekolah, siswa dan orang tua wali sangat diperlukan dalam mengoptimalkan kinerja guru untuk kegiatan belajar mengajar. Terdapat sekitar 76% siswa sangat mendukung aktivitas guru  dan 83% dukungan kepala sekolah agar guru mampu meningkatkan kualitas secara personal dalam mengajar di sekolah.

Abstract

Kurikulum 2013 bertujuan untuk mendorong siswa tingkat sekolah menengah agar mampu lebih baik dalam melakukan observasi, bertanya, bernalar, dan mengkomunikasikan. Siswa diharapkan mampu untuk presentasi apa yang mereka peroleh atau mereka ketahui atau ide-ide awal sebelum proses belajar atau menerima materi pelajaran dari guru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian development atau pengembangan materi ajar yang dikembangkan berupa. Rencana Pelajaran Ssiswa (RPS) Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) dan buku siswa (BS). Dari hasil penelusuran angket guru dan siswa di SMP N 2, SMP N 6, dan SMP N 18 Banda Aceh ditemukan bahwa persoalan dasar dalam materi sampah atau limbah rumah tangga adalah kurangnya sosialisasi kesehatan dalam lingkungan. Terbatasnya pengetahuan siswa dan kurang sossilisasi di masyarakat maka siswa tidak mengetahui penerapan materi ajar sampah/limbah dan penanganannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil angket siswa menunjukkan hanya 26% siswa yang sudah menerapkan materi ajar sampah dan penanganannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap materi ajar sampah/limbah dan penanganannya menunjukkan 26% tingkat pemahaman baik, 54% tingkat pemahaman sedang, dan 20% tingkat pemahaman kurang. Kesimpulan Proses pengembangan bahan ajar IPA berbasis pendekatan Sains Technologi Society (STS) untuk siswa kelas IX SMP sesuia dengan kurikulum 2013 dapat dilakukan dengan baik.

Abstract

Moringa leaves or in other languages known as Moringa Oliefera is one plant type with abundant properties and benefits. Not only the leaves, it turns out that the stem bark and seeds of moringa plants' roots have their own benefits. The nutritional content in moringa plants contains vitamin A 6.8 mg more than vitamin A contained in carrots, vitamin C 220 mg, calcium which is higher than milk, protein 6.7 grams, potassium 440 mg/100 grams, and also contains vitamin B6. Hence, it is suitable for consumption as an immune enhancer. Still, it is necessary to create a product that is certain to be consumed frequently by the community but based on moringa leaves, after seeing the habits of the Itawaka people who like to drink tea, a tea bag with moringa ingredients was created. The purpose of this service is that the community can make herbal tea from moringa leaves in order to increase endurance and to be consumed as a substitute for sweet tea to reduce excess sugar content. The method used in this service is a form of training or guidance, carried out in 2 stages, first providing education/theory, second practicing how to make. This activity found the results that the Itawaka community was able to utilize moringa plants and take the existing nutritional content as an immune enhancer by turning moringa leaves into herbal tea bags.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out in Gampong Gosong Telaga Selatan, Aceh Singkil District. The target partners were a group of fishermen who made shrimp paste and women who processed shrimp paste (baring). Based on the preliminary survey, the fishermen group faced two main problems, namely production and marketing aspects. In the production aspect, there is no standardization in the processing of shrimp paste. While in the marketing aspect, the community still uses conventional methods and has not utilized the digital platform. This research aims to analyze the processing process of sabu shrimp paste and implement an online product marketing strategy. The method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach through interviews and observations. The results showed that with the standardization of the processing process and the use of the marketplace, there was an increase in product quality and expansion of marketing reach. Online marketing facilitates the management of orders and payments, and increases product exposure to a wider market share. This activity is expected to increase product selling value and economic welfare of the fishing community in Gampong Gosong Telaga Selatan.

Abstract

This research looks to assess how well the Adiwiyata School Program works in fostering environmental education and sustainable behaviors in students. The main focus is on measuring how students engage and change their behaviors due to involvement in the program. To achieve this, we will need data on what students know, how they feel, and what they do regarding environmental matters, in addition to insights from teachers and program leaders. The research uses a mixed-methods strategy, involving quantitative surveys to assess shifts in student knowledge, views, and actions, along with qualitative input from teachers and program leaders. The findings show a notable rise in students' awareness of environmental issues and their proactive actions, with 75% of participants saying they better understand these issues and 65% showing changes in their waste management and conservation habits. These results highlight the program's importance in building a culture of sustainability in schools, linking environmental education to students' everyday behaviors. The relevance of this study goes beyond just schools, as it points out the crucial link between environmental health and public wellness. By illustrating how educational programs can help create responsible future citizens, this study recommends practical approaches for incorporating environmental health into broader public health plans. The implications of these results support the idea of adopting similar educational programs nationwide, suggesting that such initiatives can lead to significant behavioral changes that enhance community health and environmental sustainability, ultimately benefiting both the population and the planet.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of class X OTKP students at SMK Negeri 10 Tangerang Regency in the Academic Year 2021/2022 in Correspondence subjects with the application of the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with descriptive methods, the data analysis technique is quantitative, the average test scores of students' learning outcomes. Data collection techniques for student learning outcomes with learning outcomes tests. This study consisted of 2 cycles consisting of 4 stages. The research subjects were 35 students. The results of this study are the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve student learning outcomes as evidenced by an increase in student learning outcomes in the pre-cycle, increasing in the first cycle and increasing again in the second cycle. All students have completed in learning the material parts of the letter; the forms of letters so that the Problem Based Learning Model is very good to be applied in SMK Negeri 10 Tangerang Regency.
