Abstract

Farmer is a person or a community residents who have a livelihood as farmers to meet their needs and the needs of his family. Farm workers are those who work the fields in the land or property of others for a wage from the owner of the land. The problem in this research is a farm laborer's wife 1. How to play its role in the family? 2. How does the wife's involvement in the farm workers help the family economy? The purpose of this study was to determine the wife of farm workers to play its role in the family and to know his wife's involvement in the family economy. Population and sample in this study was the wife of farm workers, data collection techniques with observation and interviews, data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive. Research results generally show that the wife doing homework is done before leaving for work and farm laborers working wife to help him meet the needs of family life driven by economic factors, family and children's education and to increase family income. Most of the education level of respondents was limited to SD, then the wife to work the informal sector does not need special training or higher education, but it only took power. Income of the respondent husband average between Rp 1000000-2000000 each month, and his wife earned income each month mostly around Rp 600,000 per month. The wife is not only in charge of taking care of his family but also to work for a living wife to help her husband in meeting the needs of the family.Keywords: Role, family economy

Abstract

This research is motivated by the implementation of the tribe Petalangan treatment Belian Village Betung Pelalawan District of Pangkalan Kuras. The problems that arise from this study is how the implementation of the treatment Belian Village Petalangan and how the public perception on this Belian treatment. The purpose of this study was to determine how the implementation of Belian treatment and public perception of the treatment ritual Belian on Petalangan tribe. Location of the study was conducted in the village of Betung Pelalawan District of Pangkalan Kuras. The method used in this study using a qualitative descriptive study. As informants are community as much as 5 (five) while the data collection techniques using observation, interview by giving the question sheet. In analyzing the data from this study used a qualitative descriptive analysis method, while the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The research found the implementation of medication purchases made by kemantan and pebayu and ketobung bat or drum to accompany spells read when performing the treatment, for the public perception of treatment may be as long as it does not violate the norms, ethics and religion.Keywords: Implementation, Belian Treatment, Tribe Petalangan, public perception

Abstract

This research conducted in Pelayanan Sosial Marsudi Putra (PSMP) Tengku Yuk Kota Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine the Causes of Juvenile Delinquency In Kota Pekanbaru. The research titled “Delinquency In Pelayanan Sosial Marsudi Putra (PSMP) Tengku Yuk Kota Pekanbaru”. Topics focus of this research is what kind of juvenile delinquency conducted in Kota Pekanbaru. Because there is no exact data on the number of juvenile delinquency in Kota Pekanbaru, authors use the technique in non probability. The subject was done by purposive sampling or intentionally election considerations is the subject of a teenage actor in Kota Pekanbaru. Instruments Data were observation, interviews and documentation. From research conducted, the authors found that the types of juvenile delinquency in Kota Pekanbaru is as follows: fighting, smoking, drinking, skipping school, and drugs. The background factors adolescent mischief is as follows: the family, the perception of adolescents to education, self-control is weak, the influence of friends, neighborhood and media. Crimes committed by juveniles in Kota Pekanbaru encouraged because of the lack of attention from parents and the environment on children's growth and cultivation of religious values from the environment in which children grow and develop. Abstract

This research was carried out in Parit Kebumen Village, Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency. The background to this issue is that the Jonjong Umah Tradition is a cultural wealth originating from the Parit Kebumen Village. However, as a newly developed village filled with a majority of displaced people from Central Java, this tradition emerged with the existence of the habits and needs of the local community, so that the Javanese Umah tradition and its relation to the Javanese habits of the Parit Kebumen village need to be interpreted. This thesis aims to analyze the value and meaning of the Jonjong Umah tradition of the Javanese community, and to know the purpose of the Jonjong Umah tradition.This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data used are primary and secondary methods. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation methods which all answer the research problems regarding the Jonjong Umah tradition. The research informants are the people of Parit Kebumen Village, consisting of traditional leaders, village officials, people who have done Jonjong Umah, people who have never done Jonjong Umah, Village Community Resilience Institutions , and Jonjong Umah guides.Based on the results of the study, it was found that the implementation of this tradition was flexible, not burdensome and difficult, so that there were some villagers of Parit Kebumen who implemented it and did not implement it. The values contained in the Jonjong Umah tadisi are economic values, the value of helping, and religious values. The purpose of implementing the Jonjong Umah tradition is to help the people of Parit Kebumen Village who want to move houses and strengthen the community's friendship when implementing the Jonjong Umah tradition. Abstract

The phenomenon of smoking behavior in adolescents is now increasingly alarming and seemed to have become a trend among both junior and high school students, even a small percentage of elementary school students have also shown their smoking behavior. This study aims to determine the impact of the behavior and the factors that influence smoking behavior in adolescents conducted on 10 junior high school students. Research using qualitative methods with accidental sampling approach. Data were collected using an open questionnaire and semi-structured interviews, while data analysis is done with thematic analysis and descriptive. Which revealed the smoking behavior in adolescents, the average starting age of 12 years. Smoking behavior lived with friends, shop, hangout, and sometimes at school. The first smoking experience coughing and dizziness, but still there is a desire to try it again because it was fun with friends. Further experience feel fresh and comfortable when smoking. In addition, it also gives a sense of calm, relaxed, passion, and gives the impression of a more mature, and raise the prestige within the peer group. The study also reveals behind the feelings above the teens did not feel afraid and worried about the impact of smoking. Impact on kesehatanpun've often felt dizzy.   Keywords: Smoking, behavior, Teens

Abstract

The purpose of research to known charateristics voters and response of regional head election 2015 at desa pulau padang kecamatan singingi kabupaten kuantan singingi. This research is located at desa pulau padang. The study using the research methods quantitative descriftive with how to use a list of data the selection remains in desa pulau padang. To know how the charateristics of the people to selection bupati and deputy bupati and how the response of againts the results of regional head election at desa pulau padang kecamatan singingi kabupaten kuatan singingi. For the data collection of respondent and used methode observasi and for processing data used a quantitative deskriftive method to the people or someone in voters bupati and deputy bupati cnaraterististic in the regional head election is also very needed, and how to respons to the society against the regional head election because previously of the former bupati is a family of kondidat numbers 1, as bupati and deputy bupati has been designated now how to response of the results of this research of the election for people who are not choise while voters. The results of the research is that as charateristic voters in the desa pulau padang kecamatan singingi kabupaten kuantan singingi of obtained by 78,61%. It shows that the characteristies of voters against the selection is good and the response of against the reseluts of the regional head election then be seen from the rekaputation response and attaced of 75,61%, that the response of against the results of regional head election 2015 in desa pulau padang is good.Key word: Characteristics, Response, Society, Voters

Abstract

The background of this research was because of so many students of university that overdue in study accomplishment, that means more that eight semesters (five years). The formulation of this research was the factors that effected the overdue in study accomplishment to students and how much the percentage of the factors effects of overdue in study accomplishment to students of social science and politics faculty. While, the purpose of the research was wanted to know the factors that effected the overdue in study accomplishment to students and to know how much the percentage of factors effects to students of social science and politics faculty. This research have been done in social science and politics faculty, university of riau, Pekanbaru. The population in this research was all of students who the time of study more than eight semesters (five years), lecturer, student’s parent and society personage. While, the technique in taking sample the writer used proportional random sampling technique. The technique in collecting data, the writer used questionaire, interviewe and documentation. In analysing the data, the writer used descriptive quantitative method.Based on the result of this research, the writer can concluded that to know what are the factors that effected and how much the percentage of factors effects to students in study accomplishment, the writer analyze the data with formula: . So, we can concluded that the factors that effected the overdue in study accomplishment to students was: 1. Internal factors (physic, psychology, and tiring). 2. External factors (family, university and society). The factors percentage were: internal factors was 73,55% and external factors was 67,27% the category was enough.Key words: factor, effect, the time of study.

Abstract

This research uses descriptive qualitative method or research which the end result gives a deep understanding. The source of the data used are primary and secondary data obtained through interviews conducted by researchers, as well as presented by the city information committee as a reinforcement of the research result. Data will be analyzed by descriptive analysis method. With social action theory and role theory as a theoretical foundation in research.The results of this study are the role of fathers as single parents in caring for their children in the ward sialang sakti namely: 2 single parent fathers apply democratic parenting, and 2 single parent parents apply permissive parenting and 1 single parent apply otoriter parenting. Parenting that is applied differently to children gives rise to different behaviors in children, children who are cared for by democratic parenting are more responsible, warmer and more independent, children in foster care with permissive parenting are less responsible and rebellious and children in fosten care with otoriter parenting are more quite, shy and obedient.  Keywords: rule, parenting, single parent father, child.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the district of Kuala Lobam Seri Bintan District Riau Islands Province. This study aims to determine how to influence women's participation to the success of business groups (KUBE) and to find out what are the factors that support and hinder the success of the joint venture group (KUBE). This study, entitled 'Effect of Participation of Women Against Success Business Group (KUBE) In Sub Seri Bintan Regency Kuala Lobam Riau Islands province' '. The underlying question in this research is how the influence of women's participation to the success of business groups (KUBE) and what are the factors that support and hinder the success of the joint venture group (KUBE). Making the population used in this study is the census technique. Total population of the entire members of business groups that numbered 100 members predetermined criteria. The method used is quantitative method with descriptive approach. Data filtering instrument used is observation, documentation and interview. The results have generally been carried out by the researcher, the researcher can say that there is a strong influence of women's participation to the success of business groups (KUBE) evidenced by hypothesis testing using Chi Square. Factors that support the success of the joint venture group is a factor of the level of education, experience, visit the companion and understanding of the business groups, while the factors inhibiting the success of business groups, namely the organization and working poor. Abstract

This study aims to determine teh response of family heads to early marriage in the village of Bantayan, Batu Hampar District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The formulation of the problem in this study was to see how the family heads responded to early marriage couples in Bantayan Village. This study uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach. This data collection technique uses observation and questionnaires, taking samples in this study using simple random sampling. Thye results and discussion of this study is the massive public response to early marriage, the village of Bantayan, Batu Hampar Sudistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency, which means the community’s response to early marriage the Bantayan District of Batu Hampar, Rokan Hilir Regency is good.  Keywords: response, head of family, early marriage
