Abstract

Breast cancer is the type of cancer that ranks first with the highest number, and is one of the highest contributors to cancer deaths. This study aims to determine the effect of giving SADARI booklet media on the level of knowledge of adolescent girls at SMA Negeri 1 Losari Cirebon. Methods: This study used a pseudo-experiment and a nonequivalent control group design. The sample amounted to 74 respondents, with proportional random sampling technique. Results: Based on the results of the characteristics of research respondents in the experimental group as many as 33 respondents have never received information about SADARI, while in the control group as many as 35 respondents. Univariate analysis was carried out, the pretest of the experimental group had an average value of 12.00 and the control group was 12.14. After being given action in the experimental group using the SADARI booklet, a posttest was carried out with an average value of 14.84, while the control group used a lecture on SADARI, with an average of 12.46. Normality test was conducted using Kolmogorov Smirnov with the results of normally distributed data. And the Levene test was carried out with the results of homogeneous data. Furthermore, bivariate tests were carried out, using a paired T-test, with a sig value. (0,000). Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that there were differences in the level of knowledge of adolescent girls at SMA Negeri 1 Losari Cirebon before and after being given learning through the SADARI booklet media.

Abstract

Anemia pada remaja dapat berdampak pada menurunnya produktifitas kerja ataupun kemampuan akademis di sekolah, karena tidak adanya gairah belajar dan konsentrasi. Anemia juga dapat mengganggu pertumbuhan dimana tinggi dan berat badan menjadi tidak sempurna. Selain itu, daya tahan tubuh akan menurun sehingga mudah terserang penyakit, menurunnya prestasi akademik keberhasilan seseorang dalam belajar, adapun penyebab kejadian anemia dipengaryhi berbagai factor baik secara lasung dan tidak langsung. bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadia anemia pada remaja putri di stikes kusuma husada Surakarta. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian obsevasiobal analitik, dengan Pendekatan Cross sectional Study. Sampel penelitian adalah semua remaja putri yang berjumlah 70 remaja diambil secara systematic random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 1) uji kadar Hb dengan hemoque, 2) timbangan injak, 3) microtoa, 4) formulir recall 2x24 dan 5) kuesioner. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini diolah dengan menggunakan uji statistik chi-square dengan derajat kemaknaan (α =5%) =0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dengan kejadian anemia pada remaja putri di di stikes kusuma husada Surakarta. Tentang status gizi (p=0.002) dan menstruasi (p=0,015). Sedangkan variabel yang tidak berhubungan secara signifikan adalah tingkat pengetahuan tentang anemia (p=0,416) dan tingkat konsumsi zat besi (p=0,592).

Abstract

In toddlerhood, children are experiencing a very rapid growth process that requires relatively more food substances with higher quality. The results of nutrition and growth into adulthood, are very dependent on nutritional and health conditions during toddlers. Malnutrition or malnutrition in infants and children, especially at the age of less than 5 years can result in disruption of physical growth and brain intelligence. In general, there are 4 main problems of malnutrition in Indonesia, namely PEM (Protein Energy Deficiency), Iron Nutrient Anemia, Lack of Vitamin A and Disorders due to lack of iodine. One of the most fatal effects of protein deficiency is positively correlated with infant mortality. The factors that influence the nutritional status of toddlers are numerous, including income, knowledge of maternal nutrition, access to health services, incidence of diarrhea, exclusive breastfeeding, sources of clean water, parenting patterns, nutrition during pregnancy and low birth weight. LBW). This study aims to determine the factors associated with the nutritional status of toddlers aged 1-5 years at the Kinasih posyandu. The type of research is quantitative research, with a cross sectional study approach. The sample of this research is 40 children under five, taken by purposive sampling. Nutritional status data based on anthropometric measurements of BW/U were compared with the WHO_NCHS Z-score value. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between nutritional status and mother's knowledge (p=0.000), mother's education (p=0.000), nutritional status (p=0.012). While the variables that did not exist were significantly related to nutritional status with the number of family members (p = 0.973).

Abstract

Mother's self-efficacy in feeding toddlers is the mother's belief in feeding toddlers. The purpose of the study was to determine the description of the mother's self-efficacy in feeding children under five. The study used a survey descriptive design. A total of 47 parents of toddlers were asked to fill out a self-efficacy questionnaire in feeding and at the same time weighing their toddlers. The results of this study show a picture of self-efficacy, namely the respondents are almost the same in the category of good self-efficacy (51.1%) and low self-efficacy (48.9%). Recommendations need to be given an action to the group of mothers who have low self-efficacy.
